The Madden 19 Aaron Donald is usually a force of nature. His acceleration (90) leads all defensive ends, and although there are plenty that happen to Buy Madden NFL Overdrive Coins be faster than him, almost all specialist edge rushers, not versatile pieces like Donald. His strength (97) is tied for your best, and hubby combines everything with flawless play recognition (99) and brilliant tackling (93).

Khalil Mack is really a true monster edge rusher. The fifth-overall pick in 2014, Mack had his breakout season in 2015 when he grabbed 15 sacks. He started to win the 2016 defensive player with the Madden Overdrive Coins year award and dictated blocking schemes for any opponent.

In Madden 19, like real life, Mack’s biggest asset is his athleticism. He has the second-best speed (87) among defensive ends, along with the second-best acceleration (89) and agility (88). With that explosive athleticism comes excellent block shedding (92) plus the kind of pass rushing over edge that each team would kill for.

Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Black Toe Will Return In 2019

In 2014, the birth of a pair of Fragment x Air Jordan 1 made the sneaker circle more than a pair of fetishes. The rising price proved its supremacy in countless shoe fans. As early as 2017, there was news that the two sides will once again cooperate with each other. This time, it will bring a more popular black toe color, but it was confirmed to be a rumor. In November of this year, many sneakers exposed account numbers called the new lightning joint name Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Black Toe will be re-enacted in 2019, but there is no physical map. Recently, some people actually exposed the shoes on Instagram. It seems that the legendary Air Jordan 1 is going to become a reality. You can see that the two lightning bolts completely use the design of the first year Black Toe Air Jordan 1. . The first year of the black toe Air Jordan 1 is a black tongue, the subsequent replica version is a white tongue, followed by the imprint Fragment Lightning Logo highlights the noble joint status.

Next year is the 30th anniversary of Air Jordan 4, with a lot of OG color matching and new color matching. In January next year, in addition to the girl-only "Hot Punch", there will be a black laser color matching. Less than a month before the release, the official map has been released recently. At the 30th anniversary of the Air Jordan series, a very high-purity pure white laser AJ4 was introduced. This time, the Air Jordan 4 SE Laser Black Gum is similar in style to the full upper, and the full upper is covered with a laser pattern. But the upper is made of black leather, which makes the laser texture more low-key. It is said that the texture of the upper has a 3M reflective effect. Although there is no physical map to produce a reflective effect, it is exciting to think about it! The overall color is pure black with a white midsole and a raw rubber outsole. The look is retro and versatile. At present, AJ4 has taken off the whole line. White cement, motorcycle blue and other white cabbage prices have been 2000+! Next, AJ4 may become the next hot shoe type after AJ1. As one of the earliest color combinations to be released next year, this black laser is more worthy of attention.

The Nike Air Force 1 is often immersed in a variety of elements for its classic versatile look, with a multi-colour scheme. Among them, military outdoor style has been launched in recent years. This time Nike Air Force 1 once again brought a military outdoor wind dress and added a new leafy camouflage element. One of them is a classic leafy camouflage that is common in military and outdoor clothing. It is equipped with black embellishment and raw rubber outsole. It is very outdoor, not only full of personality but also very resistant to dirt and practical. In addition to the deciduous primary colors, white and orange color combinations are also introduced, which also have a foliate upper texture, but the overall style is more individual and offers more matching options.

Ten years after their first trip to London , Los Angeles Chargers veterans Phillip Rivers and Antonio Gates are keen to see how much the British audience has learned about the American version of football.

Rivers and Gates took part in the second regular-season game played at Wembley back in 2008, when the NFL was still a bit of a curiosity and large parts of the crowd didn’t quite understand the sport.“I remember like if it was yesterday,” Gates said. “The ball would be punted in the air and the crowd would be making noise. We were like, ‘what are you making noise about?’ But it was just their way. They’re used to watching soccer, and the chants and things of that nature. It was foreign to us, just like we were foreign to them.“And now I think over the years, they’ve learned to grasp a little bit more a better Isaac Rochell Color Rush Jersey concept of the game of American football. Most people understand it now here.”That was the goal behind the NFL’s decision to stage annual games in London — to grow the interest and understanding of the game overseas. When the Chargers (4-2) host the Tennessee Titans (3-3) at Wembley on Sunday, it will be the 23rd game played in London since 2007.“I’m interested to see again the atmosphere in the stadium,” Rivers said. “Last week, I hear it was an unbelievable crowd for Oakland and Seattle. I remember there being a great crowd 10 years. I just remember so many different jerseys from so many different teams represented. The energy was in there. A long pass, or a ball getting kicked, all those things got the crowd going pretty good.”The Chargers arrived in London on Friday morning after spending the week in Cleveland following a win over the Browns, a move aimed to shorten the trip and make it easier to adjust to the time difference. It also helped the players bond while spending that time together, coach Anthony Lynn said.“We did have a team-building activity and 100 percent participation. And I thought the guys liked it a lot,” Lynn said. “I left it up to my sports psychologists. The coaches get the hell out of the room and let the players talk and do their own thing. But everyone says it went really well.”The shorter flight didn’t completely help Rivers stave off the jet lag.“Today was one of those days where I don’t think anything could help. It got to the point where that third, fourth cup of coffee wasn’t working at all,” the quarterback said after finishing a training session in North London at 8 a.m. California time. “But it’s not bad. I think if we can push through and get to 8, 9 o’clock tonight, we should be OK.”Running back Melvin Gordon was limited in the practice session, but Lynn said it was mainly a precaution after the long trip.“He was just sore. Long plane ride. Probably didn’t drink enough water,” Lynn said. “We were being extra cautious with him.”For those European fans who have really studied the game since the Chargers’ last visit, Rivers did have some disappointing news. The Alabama native won’t be wearing his famous bolo tie after the game https://www.chargersfanstore.com , although he does plan on sporting his traditional cowboy boots.“I did not bring the bolo tie. I’ve got the cowboy boots,” Rivers said. “I always make sure to have those with me on game day. The same boots I probably wore here in 2008, I’ve had them for that long. They’re almost like slippers now.” The Los Angeles Chargers are on a roll with a three-game winning streak.Philip Rivers is determined to keep the momentum going, even with an overseas trip and a game in London looming.“The guys have been great and we know we’re in kind of a groove right now,” the 36-year-old quarterback said. “This is a different week, but our mindset is whatever you normally do, just do it. We want to keep this going.”The Chargers returned to the practice field Wednesday, brimming with confidence after their 38-14 victory over the Browns three days earlier. The decisive win raised their record to 4-2 and kept them one game behind AFC-leading Kansas City. The team remains in Cleveland and is training at suburban Baldwin Wallace University, hoping to maintain some normalcy before its Sunday game against the Tennessee Titans at Wembley Stadium in England.“We practiced today at the same time that we’ll play (6:30 a.m. Pacific time), so that should help our bodies get accustomed to the time change,” said Rivers, who has thrown 15 touchdowns and has the second-best passer rating in the NFL at 115.1.“As a player, Wednesday always feels like the start of the workweek 鈥?and we were all ready for it today. The challenge will be Thursday night to Friday morning with us flying all night to get to London.”Los Angeles linebacker Denzel Perryman joked that avoiding jetlag will be easy, saying, “If you get some sleep medicine, you’ll be all right.”The fourth-year pro turned serious when asked if the Chargers’ focus was where it should be, namely stopping Titans quarterback Marcus Mariota and running backs Derrick Henry and Dion Lewis.“It’s a different environment and different weather here, but we got some good work done today,” Perryman said. “We know Tennessee has got a lot of nice weapons and an explosive offense with a nice duo back there. And Mariota, he can run and pass, so he’s a difficult matchup. But we’ll be ready for them, no doubt.”The extended road trip has taken on special significance for Rivers Chargers Customized Color Rush Jerseys , who has only played in London once in 15 pro seasons. He threw a costly late interception in the Chargers’ 37-32 loss to New Orleans on Oct. 26, 2008.Rivers noted this will likely be his last game in England, given his age and the league’s rotation of all 32 franchises for international games.“It’s been 10 years, but shoot, I remember everything about it,” he said. “Staying right next to the stadium before the game, and every time the ball went in the air, there were oohs and aahs.“That was one of the first times the NFL had been to Wembley, so it’s a little more common now, but I’m sure we’ll see a lot of Chargers and Titans fans there supporting their favorite teams.”Making this trip even more important, a win would make Los Angeles 5-2 on the season, which Rivers has only experienced twice before in 2006 and 2014. The latter team faltered down the stretch and missed the playoffs. With Melvin Gordon now one of the top running backs in the league and standout defensive end Joey Bosa expected back in early November from a left foot injury, Rivers doesn’t want to let this opportunity slip away.“We’ve got a chance to get to 5-2 and we’ve got to do whatever it takes to get there,” he said. “If you had told us back in August we’d be in this position, we’d have taken it. We feel pretty good about ourselves right now.”NOTES: Chargers coach Anthony Lynn expects linebacker Jatavis Brown (groin) and kicker Caleb Sturgis (right quadriceps) to be game-time decisions. Michael Badgley made his NFL debut filling in for Sturgis against the Browns, making all five of his extra points and his lone field-goal attempt. … C Mike Pouncey (knee), WR Travis Benjamin (foot), TE Virgil Green (ribs), NT Damion Square (shoulder) were limited in practice, while Bosa and LB Kyzir White (knee) remain out.

August 22 www.vikingsauthorizedshops.com , 2018 Merry Wednesday, y’all!I hope you’re all enjoying the work week, and I’m sure we’re all looking forward to Friday when our beloved purple and gold will be at home to take on the Seahawks. In the preseason, game three is the preseason game where the starters are normally on the field for the longest, and we won’t see them playing at all in game four, so Friday’s game will be a closely watched contest. Like most of you, I’ll be keeping an eye on the O line (though I’m not as concerned as some). I’m hopeful that the team can continue the overhaul they started last year, and continue to make improvements. If the O line can perform adequately, this team could be very tough.Around the DN since our last open thread:Dan Persons has news and notes from the training camps of our division foes.J-Dog has some insight on what to do when attending Vikings games if you don’t have a smartphone. I tend to be simple in many ways, so this suggestion may be considered ignorant, but......couldn’t you........I dunno.........watch the game? It’s right down there on the field. You can always watch the big screen if you’re averse to looking at actual people. Just a thought. The Vikings signed center Jacob Judd. I’m not sure how good the man is at playing center, but he’s got a cool name. The Vikings also claimed Luke McNitt on waivers, per Chris.Chris shared the Football Outsiders piece where they wonder if the Vikings can overcome their O-line issues.Vikings news from other sources and news from around the league:FoxSports thinks that Dalvin Cook is primed for a big year coming off of his injury. I think they’re right, I’m rooting hard for the kid.Vikings.com has a piece on Chad Beebe, and they mention ‘grit’ right there in the headline.Richie Incognito made the news again for more of the unusual behavior which is usual behavior for him, the story is from ESPN. I have a feeling there is some usage/addiction lying under the surface. Maybe I’m wrong & he’s just bat**** crazy. I dunno, I wouldn’t sign him, though. Also from ESPN, Ravens CB Jimmy Smith has been suspended for four games by the NFL. Smith was accused of domestic violence by an ex-girlfriend who is the mother of his child, and the NFL cited evidence of “threatening and emotionally abusive behaviors” in handing down the suspension. We come to today’s media selection:I haven’t played this one in a while, one of my son’s favorite videos. “Dad, play that crazy guy again”. Here you go, enjoy!Again, we all know the rules, but in case someone is new:No discussion of politics or religionNo feeding of the trollsThis isn’t a male version of The View, so leave the gender hatred at the doorKeep the bad language to a minimum (using the spoiler tags, if you must)Speaking of which, if discussing a newer show or movie, please use spoiler tagsNo pictures that could get someone fired or in serious trouble with their employerIf you can’t disagree in a civil manner, feel free to go awayWhile navigating the open thread Minnesota Vikings Womens T-Shirt , just assume it’s sarcasmWith that, the beer light is on and the bar is open. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the blood sausageVikings’ NFC North Rivals: News and Notes, Week 2 One thing you can say about the NFL is that just when you think you have it figured out, the Ryan Fitzpatrick-led Buccaneers drop 48 on the Saints, the Browns didn’t lose their opener against the Steelers, Adrian Peterson swam in the Fountain of Youth, and The Jets’ Sam Darnold spots Detroit six on his first ever play from scrimmage before effectively ending the Matt Patricia era.Well, maybe looking back at history, that last one could have been predicted.Yes, folks, the Lions’ new Twenty million dollar man Quandre Diggs did his best Mike Hughes impression on the first play of the game, housing an errant pass from Sam Darnold to open the season on Monday Night Football. That was the high-point of the game for Detroit, who looked absolutely atrocious the rest of the night, losing 48-17 to the Jets. And, speaking of predictable, Chicago gon’ Chicago - as long as Aaron Rodgers is the quarterback in Green Bay.Khalil Mack showed the rest of the division the type of player he will be, collecting a sack, recovering a fumble, and doing his own Mike Hughes impression, taking a Deshone Kizer pass to the house.Buuuuut鈥?AFR showed Mack what type of player he is by coming back into the game after recovering from plantar warts, gout, and herpesyphillitis of the knee and then throwing three touchdowns to lead the Packers to victory.Yes, he did.Don’t even google it.It’s a fact. (And I told you it was going to happen, last week, by the way)Chicago BearsKhalil Mack’s debut was definitely the big story for the Bears this weekend. He plays the game like he’s going against C-Teamers.Randall Cobb’s (no relation) game-winning touchdown can’t be blamed on Mack, but (if you can stomach the replay) check out the hustle the 6-3 252 pounder shows as he races to try and catch the 5-10, 192 pound Cobb. This whole thing can, however, be blamed on defensive back Kyle Fuller. On the play just before Cobb’s touchdown Minnesota Vikings Hats , Fuller had a chance to end the game. This actually made me think about the significance of the Kittle drop and subsequent Mike Hughes pick-six in the Vikings game.Matt Nagy’s offense sputtered in the second half, inspiring this in-game observation from Jacob Infante (@jacobinfante24) over at Windy City Gridiron:For fans of Mitchell Trubisky, the following image may be disturbing. It’s so bad, it almost makes me think it was photoshopped. The Bears escaped the game with no major reported injuries, and inexplicably play their second prime-time game of the season, taking on the Seattle Seahawks (0-1) at Soldier Field in Chicago on Monday Night Football.Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction:The Bears showed flashes against Green Bay, and nearly pulled out the victory. The Seahawks are very similar to the Packers, but they’re not built for Soldier Field.Chicago rights the ship and nabs their first victory behind some back-to-basics run first offense. Detroit LionsOh, Detroit.Thank God you have Cleveland so close by.Every year, I kind of want to pull for the Lions, just a little bit.You know鈥in one for Barry. And Herman Moore. And Scott Mitchell. On second thought, f**k Scott Mitchell.Scott Mitchell still sucks. Before Cleveland was Cleveland-ing, Detroit was that team.Remember, this is a team that hasn’t even won a playoff game in 26 seasons. And when the 2017 Browns went 0-16, Detroit said “pfffft鈥?we did that, like, nine seasons ago. What took you so long?”So to see the Lions start off the way they did against the Jets really doesn’t surprise me at all.Lions players were already unhappy with Matt Patricia before the first game, apparently calling in to question his new get-tough attitude.Well, the Lions looked soft as rotten fruit against the Jets. After week one, the score stands: Coach 1, players 0.The Lions also extended another streak this week. They have now gone 69 (nice!) straight games without a 100 yard rusher. They totalled just 39 yards on the ground in the game.Watching live, it seemed like the Lions were hell-bent on throwing the ball sixty times in the game.Somewhere, Josh Freeman was smiling.Apparently the Jets defensive players had at least some idea of what plays the Lions were calling offensively, which may explain how a team that collected only eleven interceptions total in 2017 was able to pick off Matthew Stafford and Matt Cassel five times. The Lions’ injuries hit hard at the top of the payroll, with four of their top seven paid players exiting the game at one point or another.Quarterback Matt Stafford missed a good portion of the game with a knee injury, which he called a hyperextension, Defensive End Ziggy Ansah left the game with a shoulder injury.Guard T.J. Lang left the game with a back injury.Cornerback Darius Slay took a hard hit to the head, but was able to return to the game. The Lions will travel to San Francisco to take on the 49ers on Sunday. Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction:The Lions strengths should match up favorably against the 49ers strengths (DET O-Line vs SF D-Line; Stafford, Tate, Jones vs SF defensive backs) Minnesota Vikings Womens Hoodie , but with the possible unrest in the locker room, injuries to key players, and lack of a running game, the Lions fall to 0-2 - and the NFL can get back to slobbering all over Jimmy G. Green Bay PackersGreen Bay beat the Bears, you can read about it above. In other news, Aaron Rodgers was able to play the second half of the game after duct-taping a gazelle’s colon to his own medial collateral ligament. This, however, caused an infection, which team doctors were forced to treat using a poultice made from pounded marijuana leaves and Cris Collinsworth’s excess saliva.Bruh was high AF after the game.Obviously, it worked.Regarding the injury, Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy was predictably mum with reporters during his Monday news conference.Apologies for blatantly ripping-off Ted Glover’s brilliant ZimTzu posts:What Mike McCarthy meant: We want to know exactly what was in that concoction, and we have a crack team of experts working hard to replicate the formula in large quantities. When I saw Aaron this morning, he told me that he was in deep conversation with the Egg-man and the Walrus all through the second half of the Bears game, and he woke up four hours later in his apartment, wearing nothing but a smoking jacket. He was pretty adamant about wanting to continue that conversation. As of now, Las Vegas isn’t taking bets on the Vikings/Packers game.Rodgers’ injury status has everything to do with that, so if you were looking to lay some money down, you may be out of luck.On defense, the Packers came at the Bears offense with packages that utilized six and even seven(!) defensive backs on the field at one time a whopping 44 of 70 snaps. (Side note鈥?when the hell did we get a dollar package?I’ve heard of nickel, dime, and even quarters. But dollar???) The Claymaker (oh God鈥?I think I just threw up in my mouth after typing that) was back to his old tricks against the Bears Mitchell Trubisky on Sunday night, delivering this brutal, totally illegal late hit.But on a positive note, PFF ranked Matthews 74/74 as Edge Rusher this week.Injury-wise, outside of Aaron “Don’t call me Timothy Leary” Rodgers, the Packers made it through the game relatively unscathed. And, you may have heard that they host the Vikings this Sunday at Lambeau Field in Green Bay.Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction:FOH if you think I’m going to pick against the Vikings.Vikings win in a not-very-close game. With or without Cheech Rodgers.

At least one report that emerged in the hours before the NFL pulled the plug on playing the Chiefs-Rams game at Azteca Stadium in Mexico City characterized the league as being “determined” to play the game as scheduled.

That characterization was grossly optimistic https://www.ramsfanstore.com/Ethan-Westbrooks-Jersey , as best.Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Rams field inspectors and NFL game-day operations representatives “immediately” realized that the field would not meet the NFL’s standard for play. That realization came early enough to shift the game to L.A., but late enough to be an embarrassment to the NFL and an inconvenience to fans that had planned to travel to Mexico City for the game. Yes, the NFL did the right thing; based on the quality of the field, the NFL did the only thing it could have done.Moving forward, what can be done (what should be done) is that these assessments need to be made much sooner than the week before the game. Even though the league requires the home team for international contests to keep its home stadium available, shifting an international game back to domestic soil less than a week before kickoff isn’t a good look Torry Holt Jersey , and it gives fans who already view dimly the effort to export the top American sport another reason to grumble about the league’s ongoing obsession with globalizing football. 2nd QuarterBig 3rd down to start things off...and LB Cory Littleton tracks the run well to get the stop and force the field goal.Offense continues to look a mess. There’s too much talent on this defense for them to continue to be this bad, so they need to figure out their issues and start stopping opposing offenses. If they get into a shootout with the Eagles, I’m not sure if they can keep up.2) Limit mistakes - The Vikings need to win the turnover battle this week to have any chance of winning. They were very good at taking care of the football in their win over San Francisco, and less so in every game since then. When you’re facing a team the quality of the Eagles Eric Kendricks Color Rush Jersey , there’s no reason to give them extra opportunities, so Kirk Cousins needs to continue making good decisions and everyone needs to ensure they hold on to the football.3) Keep your focus - I’m sure the Vikings have spent their week being reminded of the last time they played in this stadium. They’re still also dealing with one of their teammates fighting a significant issue. However, they need to do what they can to put all of that in the rear view mirror and concentrate on the task at hand. We can’t see the same sorts of lapses that have plagued this team the past couple of weeks if they want to win this game and turn their season around.Know the Foe: Bleeding Green NationTwitter: Right hereFaceBook: www.facebook.com/TheDailyNorsemanTweets by DailyNorseman As usual, we will have a new Open Thread at the start of each quarter, ladies and gentlemen, so keep your eyes peeled for that. In the Minnesota Vikings’ victory over the Arizona Cardinals in Week 6, running back Latavius Murray put up what was, by far, the best performance by a Minnesota running back this season. Now, he’s getting recognized for it.Murray is one of three nominees for the Week 6 FedEx Ground Award. He received this nomination after rushing for a career-high 155 yards and a touchdown on 24 carries in the Vikings’ 27-17 win.The competition that Murray is facing for the award is pretty significant, however. Also nominated this week are Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley (208 yards and two touchdowns in a win over Denver) and Los Angeles Chargers running back Melvin Gordon (132 yards and three touchdowns in a win over Cleveland). The winner of the award will be announced on Thursday, and the winner will make a $2 Trae Waynes Color Rush Jersey ,000 donation in the winner’s name to the USO.If you want to cast your vote for Latavius Murray to win the FedEx Ground Award for Week 6, you can head over to NFL.com and cast your vote now!

Yes, the Vikings and Dan Bailey made it official, they’re going steady. The Vikings have had less-than-stellar luck with kickers as of late.......well, for a very long time, with the exception of the Norwood years. They had a nice run with Gary Anderson until.......well, you know. It really has been a while, though, and I’ll be happy to not hyperventilate and develop a sudden case of tourettes every time the Vikings attempt a field goal. There was also a bit of a sly move by the Vikings front office to bring Tom Johnson back to the team, Ted has the details in the story linked below. All in all, it was a busy day for the Vikings, as they also prepare for their next contest of the young season, as the Bills will travel to Minnesota to face off against the Kings of the North on Sunday. Kickoff is at noon, but I’m sure you already knew that.Around the DN since our last open thread:Ted has all the details surrounding the move to bring Tom Johnson back to Minnesota.Ted also brought us the latest edition of Zim Tzu, one of the highlights of my week.Chris shares the details of the Dan Bailey signing, and the move to release Stacy Coley.Chris also takes a brief look at Vikings/Bills history. Seeing the Vikings/Bills, all I can think about is being beaten by Kyle Orton and giving up the first down on 4th and 21.It appears that Dan Bailey wanted the Vikings as much as the Vikings wanted Dan Bailey, Chris has the story.Jonah Dylan fills you in on what you missed from week 2.Stefon Diggs was on Celebrity Family Feud, and he had an.....interesting answer to a question in the fast money round, from Chris. This is hilarious. From Skelly10, Adam Thielen and his wife, Caitlin started the Thielen Foundation, which will be in partnership with the University of MN Masonic Children’s Hospital. The foundation will focus on pediatric behavior health White Laquon Treadwell Jersey , and serve the children at the hospital and their families. Bravo, Thielen family, I love seeing our players helping the community and making a difference in the lives of those who are going through struggles that you cannot imagine. the impact that these players can have on individual lives is more significant than anyone can imagine.Ted and Di posted Roughing the Podcast 53 can maybe make a field goal.Chris has a spot where you can keep up with all the latest Vikings-Bills news. Vikings news from other sources and news from around the rest of the NFL:FoxSports North shows Kirk Cousins already played his way into the Vikings’ record books, and he’s just getting started. At Vikings.com, watch the Good Morning Football crew discuss Cousins and his seemingly perfect fit with the Vikings, and Tom Pelissoro gives some insight into yesterday’s roster moves.ESPN wonders if Bilichick will hit the lottery with Josh Gordon.More drama in Pittsburgh, as Antonio Brown didn’t show up on Monday, per NFL.com.From ESPN, Carson Wentz is back for the Eagles and will start this week. The future hall-of-famer has been recovering from a knee injury he sustained in week 14 of last year.We come to today’s media selection:I know many of you aren’t aware that there are words above the media selection, so you may not see Chris’ link to Diggs’ appearance on Family Feud. Here’s the money round where Diggs gives a very good, and very funny, answer to one of the questions. Belly up and tie one on. Don’t forget to tip your waitress, and try the head cheese. Hi kids, how are we feeling this afternoon? A three game win streak that puts the Vikings alone in first place in the NFC North should have you feeling pretty good about the local team and life in general http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-xavier-rhodes-jersey , I would think. But yeah, it’s also Monday, so I get it if things kind of blow today.I have to admit I was a bit worried last week about the Jets game, and I talked about it in this piece right here. A loss against the Jets would have been pretty bad, for any number of reasons. Turns out I was right in thinking how brutal a loss to the Jets would have been for the VIkings and their playoff chances. But, they won. It might have been ugly for awhile, but they got it done. And in so doing, their playoff chances and playoff seeding increased substantially. If you fine folks here at DN have read any of my musings on a regular basis, you know I’m not a number cruncher type of writer, for the most part. I’ll look at trends and use them to form my ridiculously obtuse opinions, but using a lot of stats in my writing isn’t something I’m particularly good at. However, one site I’ve really started to enjoy is the playoff predictor from 538, a site more known for political polls and predictions as opposed to sports. But they’ve been doing a playoff predictor for the NFL for awhile now, and I really enjoyed following it last season as the Vikings chased Philly and New Orleans for homefield advantage and a first round bye. If you’re not familiar with the site, they take the results of the games each week, the remaining schedule, and using math and formulas that I don’t understand they come up with weekly playoff percentages for each team, to include the chances of winning the division and getting a first round bye. I didn’t look at it the first month or so of the season, but I think I’m going to make this a weekly post, now that we’re almost halfway through 2018.Anyway, last week, the Vikings had a 57% chance to make the playoffs, but only a 43% chance to win the division http://www.authenticsminnesotavikings.com/cheap-matt-wile-jersey , and a miniscule shot at a first round bye. If I remember correctly, the Bears were ahead of the Vikings in all those categories, and both the Packers and the Lions were in the 30-40 percentile range to make the playoffs. After yesterday’s games, let’s take a look at where things now stand in the NFC North in terms of making it to ‘The Dance’ (playoff percentages taken from 538):That’s a pretty dramatic one week jump for the Vikings and drop off for the Bears, the Packers lost a lot of ground even though they had a bye, and Detroit changed very little. But how bad would it have been if the Vikings had lost? Well, I also found a site called Playoff Predictors, and I think I could waste hours going over all the different possible what if scenarios. (Warning: this site is a ginormous time killer so it’s not my fault if the rest of your work day is unproductive). Had Minnesota lost to the Jets yesterday and fallen to 3-3-1, they would have gone from the number four seed in the NFC playoffs to ninth. So yeah, that was a big game. Had both the Vikes and Bears won, the Bears would currently be the fourth seed, and the Vikings sixth. That loss to the Patriots really hurt the Bears, though, as they dropped from division leader hosting a first round playoff game to the 10th seed, with Green Bay still the sixth seed...even though 538 predicts the Packers have the lowest chance to make the playoffs, muahahahaha.Detroit is currently the ninth seed, sitting at 3-3 right behind two other .500 teams in Seattle and Tampa Bay. Had the Lions lost to Miami, they would have tumbled to 2-4, the 13th seed in the conference, and in my opinion almost no shot at the post season. They have yet to be seeded in a hypothetical ‘if the playoffs started today’ scenario, but have climbed out of an early 0-2 start to get back to .500. You’ve probably seen the stat that says teams that start out 0-2 have an 11% chance to make the playoffs, and what a difference a 1-1 start would have been for Detroit.Let’s say they won their second game of the year against San Francisco, and every other result in the NFL so far this year remains the same. At 4-2 White Tom Compton Jersey , Detroit would be in first place in the NFC North and the number four seed. Minnesota would be the sixth seed, and Green Bay would be out of the playoffs. Starting 0-2 really is a tough hurdle to overcome, and puts teams behind the power curve early.Speaking of Green Bay...let’s go back to that week two tie the Vikings and Packers had. All other things being equal, if the Packers win that game, they’re 4-2 and the number four seed currently, with the Vikings the number six seed. If the Vikes win that game, they are the number three seed in the NFC and the only NFC North playoff team, as Detroit, Green Bay, and Chicago fall to the number eight, nine, and 10 seeds, respectively.I know there’s still over half the season to play, and a ton of things can and will happen. The Vikings have only played one divisional game, and how they do in those five remaining games will largely determine whether or not they go to the playoffs. Lose most or all of those games and no matter where the Vikings sit today, they won’t be going anywhere come January.Still, I always enjoy these ‘if the playoffs started today’ kind of things, because I think it really shows just how crucial each game in the NFL is on a week to week basis.

The Bears might have linebacker Khalil Mack in the lineup on Sunday after listing him as questionable with an ankle injury, but the Patriots won’t have right tackle Marcus Cannon available to go against him or anyone else on the Chicago defense.

Cannon has been ruled out of Sunday’s game because of a concussion he suffered against the Chiefs https://www.patriotsfanstore.com/Rex-Burkhead-Jersey last weekend. LaAdrian Waddle stepped in for Cannon against Kansas City and seems likely to get the start against Chicago.Cannon is the only player who has been ruled out for the Patriots this week, but, as usual, they have a sizable contingent of players listed as questionable. Ten players fell into that category on the injury report. One of them is tight end Rob Gronkowski, which isn’t new as he’s been dealing with an ankle injury for several weeks. What is new (or a reminder of past ailments) is being listed with a back injury as well. Gronkowski was limited in Friday’s practice. The list of connections between the New England Patriots and Tennessee Titans is a fairly long one.And that shouldn’t serve as much of a surprise.Heading into Sunday’s 1 p.m. ET kickoff at Nissan Stadium, Titans general manager Jon Robinson’s coaching staff includes fellow names from Patriots past ranging from head coach Mike Vrabel, to defensive coordinator Dean Pees, to inside linebackers coach Tyrone McKenzie. Then there’s the Tennessee roster.Five members of the 53 in Nashville once resided in Foxborough, and there is a sixth if accounting for the Titans’ practice squad. Each of whom owns at least one Super Bowl ring from their respective Patriots tenures. Here’s a glance back through those tenures ahead of Week 10.TENNESSEEDion Lewis, running back – One of three futures signings announced by the Patriots on Dec. 31, 2014, Lewis hadn’t appeared in a game in two regular seasons. The 5-foot-8, 195-pounder by way of the University of Pittsburgh, the Philadelphia Eagles, the Cleveland Browns and briefly the Indianapolis Colts would go on to appear in 30 for New England. Lewis amassed 13 touchdowns and 2,109 yards from scrimmage on 378 offensive touches over that span – and ran a kickoff back for six as well. He tacked on another TD return in postseason play, along with ones both rushing and receiving. Lewis departed to Tennessee on a four-year, $19.8 million pact as free agency opened in March. He logged his second touchdown of the season on Monday night against the Dallas Cowboys.Josh Kline, guard – Originally entering the league in April 2013, Kline received $14,000 guaranteed from New England as an undrafted free agent. The guard via Kent State was waived at the 53-man cutdown that fall, yet remained in the fold on the practice squad James Harrison Jersey , riding up and down on the merry-go-round to finish his rookie season with seven games and one start under his belt. By the end of 2014, Kline had started an additional four games and played in a dozen. And by 2015, he found himself a full-time Patriots starter. Kline played 1,021 of a possible 1,022 offensive snaps for Tennessee in 2017. He’s started all 38 Titans contests he’s appeared in since being claimed off waivers in September 2016.Jamil Douglas, guard – With his fifth organization since arriving as a Miami Dolphins fourth-round pick in 2014, Douglas joined New England’s practice squad in October 2016 and remained there through Super Bowl LI. The Arizona State Sun Devil, who accrued 17 games and six starts while with Miami, re-upped with the Patriots on a futures contract after that campaign but was waived on Labor Day weekend of 2017. The Titans signed Douglas to the practice squad last month after the 26-year-old made stops with both the Atlanta Falcons and Colts.Darius Kilgo, defensive tackle – Kilgo has twice been part of preparations for the Patriots since the 2018 season began. The 6-foot-3, 319-pound defensive tackle, who signed a futures contract with the Houston Texans in January, was on the Texans’ practice squad for Week 1 and now finds himself on Tennessee’s active roster. A former Denver Broncos sixth-round draft choice out of Maryland, Kilgo was claimed off waivers by the Patriots in November 2016. He’d go between New England’s 53-man roster and scout team that year, and was waived following the 2017 preseason. Kilgo notched his first tackle of the year in Week 9.Malcolm Butler, cornerback – No SparkNotes version is needed when it comes to the former rookie-minicamp invite from West Alabama and Hinds Community College. Butler was a story from the 2014 preseason on through Super Bowl LII in February, and signed with Tennessee on a five-year deal worth $61.25 million a month later. “It seems like it all went so fast,” Butler said during his introductory Titans press conference. “It seems like I was just in New England on a two-day tryout yesterday. And it just all goes so fast. I’ve worked so hard for this.” Butler’s coverage has been charged with 618 yards and seven touchdowns this season, according to Pro Football FOcus, with two scores coming Monday opposite Dallas’ Amari Cooper and Allen Hurns.Logan Ryan, cornerback – The 2013 Patriots third-round pick out of Rutgers left for Tennessee on a three-year, $30 million pact in early 2017. Over the four years prior Cordarrelle Patterson Jersey , Ryan had checked into every game for New England and started a playoff-including 45 of them. The two-time Super Bowl champion finished his Patriots stay having amassed 243 tackles, 2.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, 41 pass deflections, 13 interceptions and a touchdown. Ryan, now 27, has started 23 games in the Titans’ secondary since then.NEW ENGLANDBrian Schwenke, guard – Schwenke, a member of the Titans’ 2013 draft class, started 30 of his 57 games for the team that selected him No. 107 overall. The interior lineman out of Cal joined the Colts after 2016, yet returned to the Titans following roster cutdowns. Schwenke later signed with the Patriots as training camp got underway this July. He was active for three games before being placed on injured reserve Tuesday.Jason McCourty, cornerback – A familiar face for reasons other than his eight years in Tennessee, McCourty’s NFL r茅sum茅 nevertheless began there. Drafted in the sixth round out of Rutgers back in 2009, McCourty went on to tally 90 starts, 496 tackles, one sack, six forced fumbles and 13 interceptions as a Titan. The longtime captain was released prior to 2017, and was acquired by New England from the Cleveland Browns in a swap of late-rounders this spring. McCourty has since started each of the last seven games alongside his identical twin, Devin, in the Patriots’ defensive backfield.

on quarterbacks anymore. Lending a sympathetic ear is none other than Mike Zimmer Youth Kirk Cousins Jersey , one of the biggest beneficiaries of the league's renewed emphasis on protecting the passer."It's pretty difficult," the coach of the Minnesota Vikings said. "You've got a target area the size of a strike zone."So, from the top of the knees to the armpits. No lower legs. No neck. No head."And then you can't fall on top of them," added Zimmer. So, they've got to break the quarterback's fall or at least do a "gator roll," where they basically pull the quarterback on top of them as they land.Do all that in the blink of an eye and there won't be a flag negating the game-sealing interception like Matthews was hit with Sunday, allowing the Vikings to escape Lambeau Field with a 29-29 tie instead of a loss.To be clear, the rule outlawing defenders from landing on the quarterback has been in the books since 1995, but the league's competition committee made it a point of emphasis this year. And while Matthews wasn't whistled specifically for that, the league's emphasis on roughing the passer appeared to play a role in the game-altering whistle that erased rookie Jaire Alexander's interception of Kirk Cousins with 1:37 remaining in the fourth quarter with Green Bay ahead 29-21.Referee Tony Corrente explained that when Matthews "hit the quarterback, he lifted him and drove him into the ground."Many critics didn't buy that explanation or the justifications for the more than 30 times roughing the quarterback has been called in the first two weekends of the season."I love the NFL - but it's crazy the #s being put up by QBs & WRs due to fact that D can't hit them anymore & can't lay hands on them downfield," tweeted Kurt Warner, the architect of the "Greatest Show on Turf" that put up its own big numbers."Everyone is running free the entire game (or it's a penalty)! Don't get me wrong I LOVE Offense, but better when it's a fair fight."Other takeaways from Week 2 include the realization that not even his grandma is safe from Jalen Ramsey's trash talk; Marquette King got the last laugh on Jon Gruden after the Broncos' 20-19 win over the Raiders; kickers who can't cut it get cut; and Vontae Davis gave new meaning to walking away from the game.GRANDMA GOT RAN OVERRamsey, the Jaguars star cornerback and one of the league's most outspoken personalities said he "definitely would" hit his grandmother if she lined up against him on the football field."To respect the game, you have to play it fierce," Ramsey said. "I don't believe in having friends on the field. I mean, my brother, my dad, my mom, grandma was out there, like it's on. After the game, we can be cool. It doesn't matter. That's how I feel, like, you've got to respect the game of football."Football is not a game meant to be played being nice to each other and all that, like kumbaya. After the game's over with, that's cool."Ramsey wouldn't really hit his grandmother, would he?"No, I definitely would," he said. "She knows that. My grandma knows that. I love you, but she knows that."Ramsey added that granny "might not get up from one of my licks."TIME FOR ME TO FLYInstead of a farewell game, Davis said farewell to the game, walking away during halftime of the Bills' loss to the Chargers. The 10-year veteran told his coach he was done and then didn't accompany his team back onto the field for the second-half kickoff.Bills linebacker Lorenzo Alexander said he'd never seen anything like it "in Pop Warner, college, pros, never heard of it, never seen it.""And it's just completely disrespectful to his teammates," Alexander added. After the game, Davis tweeted that he meant no disrespect to his teammates or coaches, saying, "This isn't how I pictured retiring from the NFL. ... But today on the field, reality hit me hard and fast. I shouldn't be out there anymore."CHEEZY CHUCKIEShortly after Brandon McManus' field goal with 6 seconds left allowed Denver to escape Gruden's bid for his first win in Denver http://www.thevikingsfootballauthentic.com/sheldon-richardson-jersey-authentic , the ex-Raiders punter trolled him on Twitter with a video that included a Chucky doll with dollars stuffed into his clothes, an unmistakable reference to Gruden and the 10-year contract he signed to return to the Raiders this spring.King was released by the Raiders on March 30 and quickly signed with Denver, saying he was eager to face Gruden twice a year. King said after signing with the Broncos that he hadn't spoken to Gruden before or after his release, and when he was asked about Gruden last week, he replied, "Who's that?"KICKED TO THE CURBAfter a weekend that included 19 missed kicks, two kickers lost their jobs Monday. The Vikings waived rookie Daniel Carlson after he missed all three of his field goal attempts, including two in overtime, in the tie game at Green Bay.When asked by a reporter how the decision was reached, Zimmer deadpanned, "Did you see the game?"The Browns released Zane Gonzalez after his four misses in New Orleans prevented Cleveland from winning for the first time since 2016. That came after his potential game-winning field goal in overtime was blocked by the Steelers in the opener.Gonzalez misfired on two extra points and two field-goal tries, including a 52-yarder in the final seconds, in the Browns 21-18 loss to the Saints. Some Browns fans weren't any more accurate than the wayward kicker when they vented at the wrong Zane Gonzalez on Twitter — a graduate assistant baseball coach at the University of Rio Grande who retorted, "Guys, I'm just a college baseball coach. Relax."To which one intrepid fan replied, "to be fair you didn't make those kicks today either." Week five has come and gone, and all of the Bizzaro-Football that plagued the division in the first few weeks seemed to have disappeared.Defenses that were supposed to be pretty good finally looked pretty good. Offenses that were thought to be some of the best moved the ball like they were some of the best.Referees didn’t make any didn’t make many made some really controversial calls.Kickers kicked the baaaaahhhh...nevermind.Same as it ever was.NFC North Division kickers Mason Crosby, Matt Prater and Dan Bailey combined to make just five of twelve kicks this weekend.Five. Of. Twelve. In Detroit, where the Lions outlasted the Packers 31-23, the kicking game proved to be fatal for Green Bay, as kicker Mason Crosby missed four field goals and an extra point in the game. With the loss, the Packers saw their record fall to 2-2-1, tied with the Vikings.Detroit improved to 2-3 with the win, but still hold last place in the division. The 3-1 Chicago Bears held on to the top spot in the division through their bye week. Chicago BearsBefore bringing up any of the usual type of nonsensical tidbits usually found in this column, I’m compelled to mention the name George Taliaferro, who passed away on Monday, October 8th.Taliaferro was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the 13th Round of the 1949 NFL Draft - making him the first African-American player ever drafted into the league.Taliaferro never played a down for the Bears, but was a three time Pro-Bowler - for the New York Yanks, Dallas Texans, and Baltimore Colts. At the University of Indiana, he became the first African-American to lead the Big 10 Conference in rushing yards.Taliaferro was 91 years old.The big news in Chicago continues to be centered - rightfully so - around star Linebacker Khalil Mack.Mack won Defensive Player of the Month honors, racking up five sacks, four forced fumbles, and one touchdown - hey look! He’s right there with Chucky’s entire defense in Oakland!Apparently, the only other Bears news worth reporting is that Mitchell Trubisky wore an arm sleeve during his six touchdown performance versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. It is the only possible explanation as to how a quarterback like Trubisky could throw six touchdowns in a game.Mr. Biscuit explained the sleeve in a very Mitchel-y way, stating:Every kid in Chicago is right now begging mommy and daddy to run to DICK’s Sporting Goods to buy them an arm sleeve, so they can throw like a Biscuit, too.In fairness, I wrote this entire column while wearing an arm sleeve, and I believe the results are鈥?swaggy. In an earlier NFCN Recap column, I pointed out the fact that the Chicago Bears kept only seven offensive linemen on their final 53-man roster.Well, they’ve added a couple Womens Brett Jones Jersey , including Bryan Witzmann, recently cut by the Vikings. So far, though, the Bears’ line has been very solid, allowing the fewest QB pressures in 2018, according to PFF. The Bears will travel down to Miami this Sunday to take on Ryan Tannehill and the 3-2 Miami Dolphins.Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction:Finally, a team that can give the Bears a run for their money. The Dolphins force Mr. Biscuit (no relation) back to earth, and Tannehill breaks through the Bears defense for the win.Detroit LionsThe following game recap of the Lions’ 31-23 victory over Green Bay is so perfect that I won’t add a thing. It is most definitely must-see-tv.Last week, I mentioned that Devon Kennard has been a quality find for the Lions defense. This week, he had yet another sack - his fifth sack in as many games - and a huge fumble recovery.Fans of his former team - the New York Giants - have begun to take notice. While the Minnesota Vikings can brag about having one of the best receiving duos in the league in Adam Thielen and Stefon Diggs, the emergence of second year wideout Kenny Golladay (no relation) is giving Detroit some serious consideration for having the best trio in the game.Paired with Golden Tate and Marvin Jones, he’s begun to put up some stats worth comparing:But apparently, the Packers’ Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix isn’t a fan.Today’s lesson:Rivalries begin early.Teach your children well.Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction:The Lions are on a bye this week, and will return in week seven to face the Dolphins, who may or may not be coming off a win versus the Bears.Matt Patricia will go pencil shopping and Kerryon Johnson will play a ton of video games.Green Bay PackersIt’s been a rough week on the interwebz for Mason Crosby - misser of field goals, doinker of uprights, changer of shoes. My personal favorite,And finally,One of the biggest stories in Packerland is the perceived misuse of running back Aaron Jones.Jones has had some success running the ball this year since returning from a two game suspension, but his snap count continues to frustrate Packer fans.It almost seems like Packers head coach Mike McCarthy is trying to send a message to his young running back. If he’s worried about pass protection, Jones has been doing a pretty good job with that, as well. From the Department of Disgruntled Employees:Ha-Ha Clinton-Dix is in the last year of his contract, and doesn’t see a future in Green Bay.Packer fans may or may not be heartbroken. In a Paul Allen-esque moment, former Packer James Jones’ homerism came through fully on NFL Network, recently. If you don’t feel like watching the video, Jones predicts 4-0 for the Packers - including two on the road in L.A. and New England in back to back weeks.Earlier in the season, Amazon Prime NFL Streaming became the first outlet to feature an all-female broadcast team. This weekend, Westwood One Radio will break ground with the first Father-Daughter duo. That’s right, former voice of the Minnesota Timberwolves Kevin Harlan will be joined by his daughter Olivia (@OliviaDekker) on the air Monday night when the Packers take on the San Francisco 49’ers.She’s... um, she’s quite fetching - as the kids today would say. Also,Wednesday was Brett Favre’s birthday, and I found this gem.The farther removed he is from his days as a Packer, the more I like him.If you get a chance to hear his segments on Sirius/XM NFL Radio, do yourself a favor and give it a listen.Happy Birthday, 4!Not-afraid-to-make-a-prediction Prediction: The ol’ reverse psychology worked last week, so we’ll try ‘er again this week!OF COURSE THE PACKERS WILL WIN!!It’s Monday night, at Lambeau, against a beat up 49’ers team. Two touchdowns, easy.

Are you ready for some football?!!!The Saints take on the Redskins in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome tonight looking to improve their record to 4-1 as they head into the bye week.Drew Brees comes into this game looking to become the NFL’s all-time passing yards leader. He needs to pass for over 201 yards tonight to make NFL history in front of the home crowd.Another huge story for the Saints is the return of Mark Ingram to the team following his four game suspension. It will be good to have #22 back on the field and he will certainly be excited to be back as well. The Saints have had their struggles against the Redskins in the Payton/Brees era though Bobby Hebert Jersey , as New Orleans has posted a 2-4 record against Washington during this timeframe. In those six games, the only two Saints victories took overtime to attain. The Redskins have the 3rd ranked defense in the league and will not be a pushover, so the Saints will need to be focused in this one.Kickoff:Monday, October 8th - 5:15pm PST / 7:15pm CST / 8:15pm ESTLocation:Mercedes-Benz Superdome - New Orleans https://www.thesaintsfanshop.com/Archie-Manning-Jersey , LouisianaWeather Forecast:Perfect conditions under the domeTV Broadcast:ESPN’s Monday Night Football (National Broadcast)- Joe Tessitore and Jason WittenRadio:WWL 870AM/105.3FM New Orleans-Featuring: Zach Streif, Deuce McAllister, and Kristian GaricSIRIUS XM 225 / Internet 821 New Orleans Saints radio network affiliates can be found hereWashington Redskins radio network affiliates can be found hereOnline Streaming:ESPN.com/watchiOS/Android Streaming:ESPN appOdds:Saints -6; Over/Under 53Here’s to a huge night for Drew Brees leading the Saints to their fourth consecutive win!Who Dat!!! The Saints offense fared well in the first four weeks of the season and they’ll be getting a piece back in the lineup as they try to keep it going in the second quarter of the season.Running back Mark Ingram is back after serving a four-game suspension to open the season and that restores the backfield tandem that the Saints rode to great success last season. Alvin Kamara remained productive with Ingram out of action, but head coach Sean Payton said that Ingram’s return will help keep “wear and tear” from catching up on him later in the season. After four weeks off Drew Brees Color Rush Jersey , Ingram doesn’t have any wear and tear and said Thursday that he’s raring to go.“I’m going to be excited, for sure,” Ingram said, via the team’s website. “I’ve had a lot of stuff pent up and built up and I’m ready to go. I’m hungry and I’m ready to play ball and help our team. That’s what I’m trying to do.”Kamara saw nearly 23 touches a game over the first four weeks, which is a big jump from his workload as a rookie. That number will come down, but his success in the expanded role makes it seem likely that Ingram will also see a drop from the 18 touches he averaged last season.

Tom Brady is so looking forward to his annual trip

to Buffalo the Patriots quarterback posted a video on social media playfully announcing his impending arrival."Another great win Cheap Julian Edelman Jersey , 5-2. Got to get to 6-2," he said, walking alongside teammate Lawrence Guy following a 38-31 victory at Chicago last weekend. And when Guy chimed in by saying, "6-2 on the way," Brady responded with a wide-eyed: "Woo! Bills Mafia, here we come."Bills fans, who refer to themselves as the "Mafia," naturally took Brady's remarks as a taunt in advance of Buffalo (2-5) hosting New England on Monday night. The more upset fans are, the better, Bills defensive end Jerry Hughes said."I think it's perfect," Hughes said. "I think that's great to get our fans riled up Cheap Ja'Whaun Bentley Jersey , because we're going to need all that anger, all that hostility."The young, patchwork and offensively challenged Bills could use whatever edge they can get for various reasons. They're already on their third starting quarterback, with Derek Anderson filling in for injured rookie Josh Allen; have scored just 81 points; and have lost by 22 or more three times, including a 37-5 meltdown at Indianapolis last weekend. Then there's the prospect of facing Brady, who at 41, has every good reason to be upbeat given his career-long string of dominance over New England's AFC East rival. With a 28-3 record against Buffalo, Brady holds the NFL mark for most wins by a quarterback against one opponent. His 466 yards passing in a 40-32 win at Buffalo in 2015 are the most against the Bills. He threw five touchdown passes — four to Randy Moss alone — in having a hand in Buffalo's most lopsided home loss, a 56-10 Patriots win in 2007.And Brady also contributed to the Patriots racking up 580 yards offense — the most allowed by Buffalo at home — in a 52-28 win in 2012.The past means nothing to the Patriots, who are 31-5 against Buffalo since 2000, when Bill Belichick took over as coach."It's always tough in Buffalo Kyle Van Noy Jersey ," Belichick said, discounting the fact the Patriots have won six straight at Orchard Park, New York, by a combined margin of 230-144.The Patriots enters the game on a roll, having scored 38 or more points in winning four straight.Bills defensive tackle Kyle Williams took no exception to Brady's remarks."Why wouldn't the man be confident, right? I think that comes with good players," Williams said, referring to Brady's 201-57 career record. "Good players are confident. Great players are even more confident. That's no shock."NOT READY FOR PRIME TIMEThe Bills are 2-10 in their past 12 Monday night games, and have lost six straight since a 23-18 win at Miami in 1999. Buffalo hasn't hosted a Monday night game since Phil Dawson hit a decisive 56-yard field goal with 1:39 remaining in a 29-27 loss to Cleveland on Nov. 17, 2008.Buffalo is 0-13 in games played on either Sunday or Monday nights since a 2000 season-opening 16-13 win against Tennessee. Adding in Thursday and Saturday night games, Buffalo is a combined 3-18 since 2001.UNDERDOGS AGAINBills coach Sean McDermott shrugged when informed the Patriots opened as 11-point favorites."Is that new?" he said http://www.patriotscheapshops.com/cheap-authentic-trent-brown-jersey , before noting how the Patriots won the AFC championship last season and extended their NFL record by winning their ninth consecutive division title."Until you beat them, then they're going to be favored. That's how it works," McDermott said.MICHEL ON THE MENDThe Patriots will likely be without rookie running back Sony Michel, who hurt his left knee injury against Chicago.Michel missed New England's first two practices this week, and leads the team with 422 yards rushing and four TDs. His absence would leave the Patriots with James White and Kenjon Barner as the only healthy running backs on the roster.MISTER MONDAYBrady has no trouble getting up for Monday. His 48 career touchdown passes on Monday night are the fourth most in history behind Dan Marino (74), Brett Favre (69) and Drew Brees (50).Brady also enters the matchup with Buffalo on the cusp of becoming the NFL's all-time leader in touchdown passes, counting playoffs. Peyton Manning tops the list with 579, Brady is second with 575.RETIRING NO. 34The Bills will honor Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas by retiring his No. 34 during halftime. He joins quarterback Jim Kelly and defensive end Bruce Smith as the only Bills player to earn the honor.Thomas hopes his presence and Brady's comments regarding Bills fans might spur Buffalo."The fans will be riled up now because of what Tom Brady said," he said.No matter the outcome, Thomas added: "It'll be a special night. It absolutely means more than anything I could ever imagine right now at this point in my life."AP Sports Writer Kyle Hightower contributed to this report. This story has been corrected to indicate Bills' last Monday night home game was against Cleveland in 2008. Aaron Rodgers‘ knee is getting better. So much so that reporters did not even ask him about it in his Wednesday media session.A day after participating in his first Wednesday practice — on a limited basis — since injuring his knee in the season opener, the Packers quarterback was a full participant Thursday.“It’s definitely a step ahead of where he was last week David Andrews Jersey ,” Packers coach Mike McCarthy said Thursday morning, via Jim Owczarski of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. “He did the unit drill and the pre-practice stuff.”Since his injury against the Bears, Rodgers had used Wednesdays as a rehab day.Cornerback Jaire Alexander (groin) also returned to being a full participant Thursday after a limited practice to open the work week.Receiver Geronimo Allison (hamstring), tackle Bryan Bulaga (knee), receiver Randall Cobb (hamstring), tight end Jimmy Graham (knee) and receiver Equanimeous St. Brown (knee) remained limited.Lnebacker Nick Perry (ankle) and safety Jermaine Whitehead (back) returned to a limited practice, and center Corey Linsley (knee) was added to the injury report with a limited practice.

In-Game UpdateDespite a dominant performance by Jacksonville Xavier Grimble Color Rush Jersey , they led only 9-0 heading into halftime, and the Steelers followed suit with their first possession of the third quarter. A three-and-out gave the Jaguars the ball back, but the Steelers’ defense led by T.J. Watt pushed Jacksonville back giving the offense their best field position of the game. James Conner moved the Steelers inside the red-zone for the first time of the game, but the result was more of the same — a Roethlisberger interception...again by Jalen Ramsey. It was Roethlisberger’s third interception of the game, and took points off the board when the team needed them the most. How did the Jaguars respond? Try with an 80 yard drive down the field which was highlighted by Bortles moving the ball through the air, and Fournette leaping into the endzone from the 4 yard line to give the Jaguars a 16-0 lead — which felt insurmountable for the dead Pittsburgh offense. With just under 2 minutes remaining in the 3rd quarter, Pittsburgh’s offense found life when Roethlisberger threw a 78 yard touchdown to Antonio Brown for the first touchdown of the game. Pittsburgh, down 16, chose to go for the two-point conversion, and failed making the score 16-6 with 1:17 left in the third quarter. The quarter would end with the Jaguars leading 16-6 and facing a 3rd and 11. The Pittsburgh Steelers and Carolina Panthers took part in a big prime time game at Heinz Field on Thursday Night Football, and the Steelers presented their loyal fan base a 52-21 whopping for their fifth straight win of the season.During the game, some perform well, while others fall short of the standard. This is where the Winners and Losers column comes in. After the game, when the dust settles, we decipher who falls into which category. As always, feel free to comment on the list in the comment section below. Be part of the conversation!WinnersBen RoethlisbergerStat Line: 22/25, 328 yards, 5 TDs, 0 INT https://www.steelerssportshop.com/Anthony-Chickillo-Jersey , 158.3 Passer RatingRoethlisberger lit up the scoreboard with a perfect passer rating. The fourth time he has done that in his career. Putting Roethlisberger on this list is easy, but I wonder how many points this team could have scored had he played the full game?Antonio BrownStat Line: 6 rec., 96 yards, 1 TD, 6 targetsEveryone was expecting a big game from Brown, and he delivered. On the day he was cited for a traffic violation, Brown put together a fine outing, catching every pass thrown his way — including a 53-yard bomb for a touchdown. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again, Brown’s stats (receptions and yards) might be down this year, but as long as he is hitting pay dirt and the team is winning I don’t think he will be complaining much.JuJu Smith-SchusterStat Line: 3 rec., 90 yards, 1 TD, 1 rush, 13 yards, 5 targets Right when Steelers fans starting sweating after watching the Panthers drive down the field with ease and put up a TD, JuJu struck again. The first play from scrimmage set the tone for what comes next, more on that in a second, but remember when everyone said Smith-Schuster doesn’t have the speed to get deep? In his second year he has proven this is laughable.Vince WilliamsStat Line: 4 tackles James Conner Jersey , 3 solo, 1 sack, 1 INT, 1 Pass Defense, 1 QB Hit, 1 TFL, 1 TDWilliams looked bad on the opening drive. He looked as if he couldn’t hang with McCaffrey for a full game, and maybe he couldn’t, but it didn’t matter after Smith-Schuster struck on the first offensive play for the offense, and then Williams’ pick-six completely changed the game. Going from 7-0 to 7-14 in a blink of an eye is remarkable, and Williams had himself a night - very worthy of being in this category.Bud DupreeStat Line: 2 tackles, 2 solo, 1 sack, 2 TFL, 1 QB HitDon’t look now, but Dupree has been on this list for two straight weeks. Dare I say, he is starting to resemble an NFL pass rusher. Is he elite? No. He is about elite as Joe Flacco is elite, but he is becoming a threat. And that is just what the Steelers need out of Dupree. If the offense wants to put extra attention to Watt, it is up to Dupree to win his matchup — and he has been. He has notched 4.5 sacks so far this season Roosevelt Nix Color Rush Jersey , and is on pace to be on the verge of a double-digit sack total season. Bet you didn’t see that coming this year!Roosevelt NixStat Line: 2 receptions, 17 yards, 2 targets, 1 FFIn an effort to get some players on the list who aren’t normally here, Nix deserves a spot. His two receptions for 17 yards weren’t just fun to watch, but also helped move the chains on Pittsburgh drives. But what Nix brings to this team is so much more than fullback play. His special teams play, and his forced fumble on a kickoff, was the final nail in the coffin.Cameron HeywardStat Line: 3 tackles, 2 solo, 2 sacks, 2 TFL, 2 QB HitsSince the Steelers have altered their gap assignments for their defensive front, Heyward has been more of a plugger, and less of a dynamic playmaker. But on Thursday night we all were treated to some of the 2017 Heyward who registered double digit sacks. Heyward was dominant and did his part in collapsing the pocket and giving Cam Newton happy feet on more than on occasion.T.J. WattStat Line: 1 tackle, 1 solo, 1 sack, 1 TFL, 2 QB HitsWatt didn’t necessarily light up the stat sheet, but he was a force on the field. It was his pressure which forced Newton’s bad throw to Vince Williams. It was Watt who sent a message to Newton with a wicked hit to his throwing shoulder. Not every game is going to be for padding stats https://www.steelerssportshop.com/Chukwuma-Okorafor-Jersey , and Watt’s Week 10, while statistically mundane, was disruptive.Coaching StaffStat Line: 52 points, and a huge prime time win on a short weekKudos to Mike Tomlin, Keith Butler and Randy Fichtner. They all deserve a pat on the back after a tremendous game play on a short week. I can only imagine the hours spent from Sunday night till Thursday morning watching film, meeting with players, practicing and just overall prep on a short week. Oh, and the Steelers were only penalized ONCE in this game. 3rd Down UnitsStat Line: Offense: 8-10, Defense: 4-11More 3rd down dominance on both sides of the ball. This is an indicator of a team on the rise, and if they keep this up they will be tough to beat down the stretch.Red-Zone OffenseState Line: 4-for-4Remember when the knock on the Steelers was their poor red-zone numbers? Not anymore. After a perfect evening in the red area, it will be interesting to see where they rank come Week 11. My guess is at the top of the league, or very close to it.David DeCastro and Maurkice PounceyStat Line: The enforcersWhen Eric Reid hit Roethlisberger high while sliding, the enforcers stepped in to make sure Reid knew exactly what he did, and that it wasn’t acceptable. For a second I felt I was watching a hockey game when the team goes after someone for going after their superstars. They can be called enforcers on the ice, and I think it is safe to say the Panthers wanted no part of No. 66 or No. 53. I loved the response by the Steelers.LosersArtie BurnsStat Line: Garbage time play, still gets burntI don’t even know what to say about Artie Burns anymore. He doesn’t see the field outside of special teams until the fourth quarter, and while in the game gets burned and commits a horrible defensive pass interference call in the process (the Steelers’ only penalty of the night). Burns is in a bad place right now.
