PlayStation Productions released its first project in the last quarter of this year, in the form of Uncharted, which has been a long time coming. Uncharted. This film version of Naughty Dog's beloved game is in the working for over a decade, exchanging hands with numerous writers, directors, and actors.

The final film starred being a starring role for Tom Holland in the role of Nathan Drake and although the film wasn't a huge hit with critics, it pulled in a healthy amount of cash at the box-office and promises an unfinished sequel, meaning it's likely more live action Nathan Drake adventures are on to come at some point. An upcoming Uncharted sequel isn't the only thing Sony has to do however.

The Last of Us - HBO TV SeriesWhat is most likely to be the next TV show for PlayStation Productions is yet another Naughty Dog-inspired adaptation. HBO is currently adapting The Last of Us with Chornobyl's Craig Mazin and The Last of Us co-creator Neil Druckmann at the helm of the production.

Pfeiffer also cites the popularity of Melvor Idle as proof of how talent can be found in any game's community that Jagex has already seen. "We've always been able to find it to be the RuneScape group to be a great opportunity for talent at Jagex not only in terms of game developers but all the different roles within a games studio," he states.
