They’re at home so they should have an advantage, but don’t rule the Jets out.At 10:20 p.m. ET, the Raiders host the Rams Blue Mario Addison Jersey , and let me tell you somethin’ man I really like what the Rams are doing with the football. Todd Gurley is a machine, man, and I think that if Sean McVay can keep feeding the beast he’ll score lots of touchdowns this season, you know what I’m sayin’? I tell you what man, that Sean McVay is a really good coach and I don’t know if the Raiders will be able to stop him. I just love what he’s doing over there Limited DJ Moore Jersey , man. Spider 2 Y Banana. Use this space to talk about the action as it unfolds. You know the drill. This is now an open thread! The Panthers have finalized their 2018 practice squad The Carolina Panthers finalized their 2018 practice squad today by adding 10 players as allowed per NFL rules.Below you will find the 2018 Panthers practice squad (h/t Bill Voth at Panthers.com)2018 Panthers practice squadQB Kyle AllenRB Reggie BonnafonWR Mose FrazierTE Jason Vander LaanG Taylor HearnOL Dorian JohnsonDE Kiante AndersonDT Kendrick NortonCB Cole LukeS Dezmen SouthwardThe rules of the practice squad are pretty complicated, but they are listed below courtesy of our friends over at Big Blue View:Practice squad basicsPractice squads can consist of as many as 10 playersSome teams may have an 11th “International player,” whose primary residence is outside the United States. The league will decide in any given year which teams will be allowed to have such a player.Practice squad players are free to sign with any other NFL team, provided they are placed immediately on the signing team’s 53-man roster. A player cannot jump from one practice squad to another unless he is released first, thus becoming a free agent.A practice squad player may not sign to the active roster of his team’s upcoming opponent Elite DJ Moore Jersey , unless he does so during a bye week or at least six days prior to the upcoming game.A player must pass through waivers after being released before he can be signed to a practice squad. Waiver priority is based on the 2018 NFL Draft order, so the Panthers will be No. 24 on the list.If a practice squad player signs to the active roster of another team, he is guaranteed three weeks of NFL regular-season salary even if he is released after only one week.Practice squad eligibilityNot all NFL players are eligible for practice squads. These practice squads are generally designed to give young players opportunities to break into the league, though there can be some exceptions.A player may only serve two seasons on a practice squad. An otherwise eligible player may be a practice squad player for a third season only if the team by which he is employed that season has at least 53 players on its Active/Inactive List during the entire period of his employment.A practice squad player needs to have less than one Accrued Season of NFL experience. An Accrued NFL Season is considered six games, but players with one Accrued Season who were active for less than nine games regular-season games would be practice squad eligible.A player is deemed to have served a full practice squad season if he is on a team’s practice for at three regular-season or postseason games during his two practice squad years.Players granted a third practice squad season are considered to have used it if they are on the practice squad for a single regular- or postseason game.

ESPN: Teams are watching Baltimore’s kicker situation The Baltimore Ravens are known for having successful special teams units Tavon Young Jersey 2019 , usually starting with having an upper echelon placekicker. That’s never been more true than it has right now with Justin Tucker between the hashes, and even more so due to the presence of promising rookie Kaare Vedvik. This won’t be the case for much longer as teams rarely keep multiple kickers, and Vedvik would’ve had to do a whole lot more to even think about replacing Tucker. It does however look like he may be in line to go and play somewhere else, as a report from ESPN’s Adam Schefter indicates other teams may be interested in bringing Vedvik in:As Schefter states, there’s a precedent for Baltimore developing young special teamers who go and have success elsewhere such as Lutz in New Orleans. The question then becomes, what exactly will happen with Vedvik? The young Norwegian has shown ability as both a kicker and punter in the preseason, meaning he has a versatility that few players in the league currently have. This means he provides a unique value which could end making him a tradeable asset. With the front office just having moved Kamalei Correa, it’s clear they’re interested in getting some return on guys who are good enough to make a roster but don’t necessarily fit into their plans. Vedvik epitomizes this as he’s shown promise but definitely won’t be uprooting Tucker or Sam Koch in the near future. As a result, the top brass would be wise to start shopping the former Marshall man to see if they can get something back for him. If they’re able to, it would be yet another return on a piece they weren’t going to use in 2018 anyway. The Baltimore Ravens are in an interesting spot with their wide receiving corps White Matt Skura Jersey , a reality most fans are pretty much used to at this point. They brought in several free agents and young draft picks to supplement an overhaul at the position, all with varying degrees of success.Headlining the group would be Michael Crabtree, John Brown, and Willie Snead, who all had some nice moments this moments this season. After them, basically every receiver outside Chris Moore had a quiet 2018 season. That’s largely a function of these players being young projections who may see some opportunities heading into 2019. Let’s take a look at the aforementioned headliners and promising youngsters, and their offseason outlook moving forward:Current depth chartWillie Snead IV: 2019 cap hit = $5,000,000Michael Crabtree: 2019 cap hit = $9,333 Matt Skura Jersey 2019 ,333John Brown: UFAChris Moore: 2019 cap hit = $869,090Jordan Lasley: 2019 cap hit = $637,169Jaleel Scott: Placed on injured reserve, 2019 cap hit = $640,095Offseason outlook:Once again, Baltimore faces some questions at this position. Crabtree was signed to be the unquestioned number one guy, and he largely disappointed in this role even when Joe Flacco was starting and giving him consistent targets.Brown and Snead were brought in without nearly as much hype, and both produced at solid levels on balance. Snead had the most consistent output from start to finish this season and his cap hit for next year is manageable relative to his production.Brown and Crabtree are more interesting cases. Brown had a great start to the year with Flacco behind center, but was significantly slowed down thanks to the offenses’ different approach under Jackson, as well as teams bracketing him with coverage. Crabtree is a different story Stitched Sam Koch Jersey , as he was arguably a free agent bust, and can’t reasonably be brought back on the above 2019 cap hit. There’s a route for both of them to be brought back for the sake of continuity, which involves cashing in on their relatively low stock at this point. It would involve bringing back the unrestricted Brown on another low cost short term contract that’ll allow him to again attempt to re-establish his value, and asking Crabtree to take a pay cut if he’d like to stick around. If Crabtree is up for that it may be worth it, but he’s certainly not worth keeping for the final two years of his contract with a cap hit that never gets below eight million. Beyond those top three guys, it’s tough to get a read on this receiver room. Moore actually had a nice season for a rotational player, seemingly catching everything thrown his way and possibly making a case for more 2019 snaps in what will be a contract year.Below him are Scott and Lasley, neither of whom suited up for the squad in 2018 after both had rough preseason showings. They’ll certainly be given the opportunity to continue to develop, but Baltimore will need to begin investing higher draft capital in the receiver position if these two don’t pan out.Looking ahead to the free agent market, if the Ravens choose to go in a different direction than players such as Brown and Crabtree Youth Sam Koch Jersey , the pickings currently look to be slim. The only plausible options at the top of the heap would be Randall Cobb or Golden Tate, which potentially could happen if the team is looking for an upgrade, though it’s fair to question just how much of an upgrade either would be.If Eric DeCosta does look to revamp the room yet again, he’s probably better off looking to trade for a more proven commodity if possible, though this could be tough without a 2019 second round pick to deal. The upcoming draft isn’t exactly chock full of top prospects at the position, so we may not be looking at a major overhaul around Lamar Jackson, at least in the immediate future.Let us know your thoughts about the current receiver room, and the prospects of possibly re-making it yet again.

Elite Julio Jones Jersey

There was an inconsequential moment around the 62nd minute of the Manchester derby that showed the almost omnipresent nature of David Silva. City were attacking and Sergio Aguero had the ball right outside of the right side of United’s box. The camera was showing David de Gea Black Matt Bosher Jersey , Manchester United’s defenders, the two other City attackers who were in the box, and Aguero. There was no way for Aguero to go forward, so he looked centrally. The space outside of United’s box was unoccupied, and Aguero’s short pass seemed to be to no one. But when Aguero made the pass, I rolled my eyes and said, “That’s David Silva” and at that second Limited Julio Jones Jersey , Silva arrived from off-screen to receive the pass and restart the attack before United’s defenders could close him down. Nothing came from the attack, and it can be simplified to the simple statement of: Silva was there to receive the ball when his teammate needed an outlet. But that’s what makes him such a mesmerizing player to watch. A few games ago, I remember a commentator saying that Silva was always available for a pass and seemed to be in acres of space when he received the ball. It’s an incredible feat considering that defenders know how dangerous he is and are usually actively trying to prevent him from having any space and receiving the ball. Yet, whenever a teammate needs someone to pass the ball to, Silva is there, and he’s wide-open as if defenders had completely forgotten about him. Of course, defenders don’t forget about him Julio Jones Falcons Jersey , Silva is just amazing at constantly moving and creating space from the second that the defenders face the action. He preys on the simple impossibility of defenders facing him and the ball at the same time. Every midfielder and attacker is taught to find space in that same way, but there’s only a handful in history who have mastered it as much Silva to the point that it seems that he’s not being marked. Genius sometimes isn’t about doing something brand new, but about mastering the essential skills and using them really well. That genius manifests itself in Silva’s movement, his passing and his general intelligence of the game. He gets into spaces, he’s always available for his teammates, his body position is perfect for receiving the pass and transitioning into his next move, he doesn’t waste motion Elite Julio Jones Jersey , if he’s surrounded when he gets the ball, his touches either take him out of pressure or bait defenders into fouls, he makes the correct passes and he passes the ball to his teammates at the angle, to the foot, in the space, with the weight, that allows them to do what they have to do as efficiently as possible. He’s so good at understanding the game that it in action Game Julio Jones Jersey , he seems precognitive. I hate to praise a bald man, but when Silva is at his best, it feels supernatural. As if he’s reached that state of heightened genius that the old poets and writers used to ascribe to divinity. Even in a Manchester City team of players who are drilled in short passing, finding space and constant movement, Silva stands out as a master of that fluid intelligence on the field. And now he’s scoring more goals in his old age, so that’s another headache for defenders to deal with. Former Patriots head coach Rod Rust died Tuesday morning, Brett Vito of the reports. Rust was 90.Rust coached 22 years in the NFL Julio Jones Womens Jersey , 14 years in college and seven years in the CFL.He tutored Mean Joe Greene at the University of North Texas, serving as head coach at the school from 1967-72. He coached in the NFL and the Canadian Football League from 1987-2005.He went 1-15 in his only season as the Patriots’ head coach in 1990.Rust served as defensive coordinator of the Chiefs from 1978-82 before going to the Patriots in the same role from 1983-87. He returned to Kansas City in 1988 before taking a job with Pittsburgh in 1989.He also spent time with the Giants, Falcons, Montreal Alouettes, 49ers and Winnipeg Blue Bombers. Rust was 77 when he returned after the 2005 season.Rust was a two-year letterwinner at Iowa State from 1947-48.

For the second time in two years and the third time in his tenure as the Arizona Cardinals general manager Markus Golden Jersey 2019 , Steve Keim is getting ready to hire a new head coach. The Cardinals are running an impressive Hail Mary late as they try to fix the massive hole they’ve dug themselves. You see, it’s time again for a new Arizona Cardinals team under new leadership. If you look at 2013, when Keim took over, the Cardinals were not the place to be.Coming off 18 wins over three seasons, no playoff appearances and firing a head coach, the Cardinals had to make a change. This time, Keim was a part of the problem as much as anyone else.Except, Michael Bidwill sees him as part of the solution, and therein lies the gamble.Bidwill keeping Keim on for a third head coach hire means he doesn’t see this as a multi year rebuild. No, it means like last year, Bidwill sees the Arizona Cardinals as a team ready to compete.Despite playing in maybe the best division in football, with two of the best quarterbacks in the league, the Cardinals owner doesn’t see that his team is far away from the mountain top.Which means his good friend and employee, Keim can get the team back competing again. You see, if the Cardinals saw this for what it was going into 2017, a team that had peaked and needed to be revamped Black Josh Rosen Jersey , they’d be entering a key offseason where they would have already rebuilt most of the positions groups.Instead, they incorrectly saw themselves as Super Bowl contenders in 2016, as NFC West contenders in 2017 and a team that could compete for a playoff spot in 2018.Those evaluations mean that the impetus is on the coach over those making the roster and personnel decisions. They see the talent on the roster as being close enough to contend. That’s where the disconnect seems to stem. If the Cardinals are serious contenders, then the last three years have been unacceptable. If the Cardinals are not contenders, then the man who built the team, is the problem.Bidwill is betting on Keim. We’ll see if he’s right. There is likely two days left in the Steve Wilks era of Arizona Cardinals football. On New Year’s Eve, the team will announce they have let go their head coach, after only one season. And they should. While a lot of blame falls on Wilks’ shoulders, there was little chance he was ever going to succeed with the Arizona Cardinals. When you look at the initial press conference when Wilks was introduced, his vision of the team and then the ensuing use of assets never meshed.Wilks wanted to stop the run and run the football. The Cardinals proceeded to invest all their free agent money in quarterbacks and offensive linemen with injury concerns. The Cardinals hired a defensive first head coach and invested next to nothing on the defense. They kept a linebacker on the hook for nearly $9 million that had graded out the previous two seasons 62nd out of 94 qualifying linebackers against the run and 82nd of 88 qualifying linebackers against the run. They spent every available asset in the draft, sans a lone sixth round pick, on replenishing a depleted offensive unit.Yet, they ignored a defense that lost much of its teeth.Of the players that played 300 or more snaps on defense in 2017, when the Cardinals finished 1st in rushing defense DVOA per Football Outsiders, eight were gone, only eight remained and only two of those players were interior defensive lineman. The Cardinals now rank 27th in rushing DVOA.They finished 10th in DVOA against the pass in 2017 Josh Rosen Jersey 2019 , they are 11th in 2018.Steve Wilks deserves to be fired, I don’t think there are many that would argue that. However, he came into a situation and his vision, the fingerprints he wanted to put on this team were never allowed to come to fruition.Instead, he was tasked with getting the most out of young players who had never performed highly, Haason Reddick and Robert Nkemdiche, to replicate success of players who were part time, Budda Baker, and to fix the shortcomings of others, Deone Bucannon against the run.He had solid talent in Chandler Jones and Patrick Peterson, but he also had aging talent in Antoine Bethea and talent that had never played much in Josh Bynes, Olsen Pierre and Rodney Gunter, who would all assume crucial roles. He was tasked with doing all of this, while also being given an offense that would struggle to succeed pre-merger.With little talent on offense, having to reconfigure a defense that lost 8 of it’s top 16 players in snaps, the odds were long.Yet Black Robert Alford Jersey , even with five wins being the mark by many pundits and Las Vegas, Wilks couldn’t get there. He has struggled to adapt to the talent he has on the team, instead trying to fit square pegs into round holes. When things go awry, the accountability always seems to come from the idea that the scheme was fine, it was poor execution, something Cardinals fans remember all too well from Ken Whisenhunt. On top of all of that, Wilks vision of the NFL is archaic.Look at the Chicago Bears and Baltimore Ravens. They have incredible defenses, but their offenses are diverse, they are full of schemes that allow their young quarterbacks to be successful, that use all the players in their arsenal, and that come with a number of gadget and trick plays. Those teams are also irrationally aggressive. They play ball control, but they take chances on offense, on defense and on special teams.Wilks idea of bully ball is not one that works in today’s NFL, look at the Jaguars, who have superior or equal talent at nearly every offensive position than the Cardinals and how far they’ve fallen. However, he never was given a chance to see his vision through because the team had to completely reshape and retool the offense from years of Bruce Arians making chicken salad out of chicken shit with it.In fact Robert Alford Jersey 2019 , the last two season of Arians reign saw the Cardinals go from second in points per game in the raucous 2015 season (30.6), to sixth (26.1) to 25th (18.4).The Cardinals were a bad offense before Wilks took over, and then they hired someone with a philosophy from the 1960’s.The fact it got worse is not a surprise, in fact the drop off from Arians 2017 to Wilks 2018 is less, Cardinals are averaging 13.4 points per game this year, than that of Arians 2016 to 2017.No, what happened to Wilks was not surprising. There was nothing to hang your hat on with Wilks team. There was no identity.Yet, knowing who and what Wilks wanted to be, the Cardinals should have invested every asset into building the defense he envisioned.Instead, they gave him nothing on defense and instead spent lavishly on offense and created the worst offense the NFL has seen in 20 years. No, Wilks is not a good head coach, at least not now, but he also did not get much help from the team that hired him. That’s the unfortunate reality of this Cardinals season, but also one that needs to be fixed with the new head coach. The vision between the next head coach and the front office has to align, or this isn’t going to be just a Steve Wilks problem.

For the second time this season White Mark Andrews Jersey , the Baltimore Ravens have signed former second-round cornerback Cyrus Jones. It’s been quite the back-and-forth for Jones over the past six weeks. On Sept. 1, the corner was waived by the New England Patriots. The next day, Sept. 2, the Ravens added him to the practice squad. Seventeen days after joining the Ravens practice squad, he is brought back to New England as an active player on the 53-man roster. On October 6, the Patriots waived Jones to open up a spot on their 53-man roster. This was unsurprising as the Patriots are suffering in the running back department with only two healthy running backs (James White & Sony Michel). The expectation is Mike Gilleslee, former Patriot, was cut by the New Orleans Saints on Oct. 6. This move brings back a player who knows the New England offensive system and can instantly play on game day.Update:The Ravens announce the corresponding move to acquire Cyrus was waiving WR/RS Tim White. Once Baker Mayfield summoned the courage, the rookie quarterback looked in time to see Greg Joseph's low, line-drive kick somehow go through the uprights.Mayfield's mouth opened in disbelief. The Browns won again. And in this unpredictable NFL season, Cleveland's rapid rise may be the strangest twist of them all.Joseph's 37-yard field goal 鈥?a knuckleball the rookie was certain had been blocked 鈥?with 2 seconds left in overtime gave Cleveland a 12-9 win over the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday. After Mayfield made a clutch third-down throw to help drive the Browns (2-2-1) into position, Joseph, who was cut by Miami this summer and signed after Week 2 following Zane Gonzalez's release, came through to give Cleveland its first AFC North win in 19 tries."I couldn't decide whether I wanted to look at the kick or not, so I turned around at the last second and saw it was pretty low," said Mayfield, who passed for 342 yards and a touchdown in his second NFL start. "It wasn't a pretty kick but it went in. It also wasn't a pretty win, but it counts."Believe it or not, the Browns are legit. They've played three overtime games in five weeks Mark Andrews Jersey 2019 , and if not for some missed kicks in New Orleans and questionable call last week in Oakland, Cleveland could be unbeaten."We have a team right now that is starting to believe in themselves, and rightfully so," Mayfield said. "I take a lot of pride in the culture change and being positive, always moving forward and doing your job no matter what the situation is. That was big for us."When the final kick sailed through, Browns fans celebrated just the team's second win in two seasons and Joseph, who missed an extra point in the first half, was mobbed by his teammates. It was vindication for Joseph, who also missed a 55-yarder at the end of regulation."I'll never forget anything about this game, the high points and the low points," he said. "It was awesome to see it go through, but I'm here for a reason and I believe I can kick in this league."The Ravens (3-2) had plenty of chances, but Joe Flacco threw a costly interception in the first half and the Browns blocked one of Justin Tucker's field goal tries. In his first start at home, Mayfield threw a 19-yard TD pass to Rashard Higgins, but his biggest play was a 39-yard completion to rookie Derrick Willies on Cleveland's winning drive."Baker just makes plays, man, and he knows what to do in tough situations," Browns guard Joel Bitonio said. The Ravens, who got another strong effort from their defense youth C.J. Mosley Jersey , also had a chance to win it in the final minute of regulation, but wide receiver Michael Crabtree couldn't hold onto Flacco's pass in the back of the end zone."I should have made that catch," Crabtree said. "The game would have been over. I put that on me. If I have to catch 2,000 balls a week in practice, I'm going to have to do that."Tucker then tied it with a 32-yard field goal with 52 seconds left.On their third possession of OT, the Browns started at their own 5-yard line and were at their 18 facing a third down when Mayfield zipped a pass over the middle to Willies, who didn't have any catches coming in and was playing after Higgins went out with a knee injury.Duke Johnson ripped off a 15-yard run and had two more short carries before the Browns sent in Joseph, a college walk-on who was released by the Dolphins after training camp but got a another chance after Gonzalez missed four kicks in a Week 2 loss at New Orleans.Cleveland's win was also the Browns' first in 37 tries on a Sunday, and it gave Jackson his first victory inside the division in three seasons.Flacco finished 29 of 56 for 298 yards and one interception, but Baltimore's offense struggled to get into a rhythm all day."We had our chances," Flacco said. "In these kind of games when you have little chances, you have to be able to take advantage of them. The couple that we had, we probably just didn't execute well."ROOKIE ROLLINGBrowns rookie cornerback Denzel Ward continues to dazzle. The No. 4 overall draft pick intercepted Flacco i n the first half and then blocked Tucker's 48-yard attempt on the final play of the first half.Ward has three interceptions this season, and he's impressed his teammates with his toughness."The dude was everywhere again," Browns defensive end Myles Garrett said. "He's just on top of guys at all times."INJURIESBrowns: Jackson said Higgins will undergo an MRI on Monday. He had three catches for 66 yards and the TD before going out.TURNOVER MACHINECleveland's defense was solid last season, but didn't force enough mistakes. That's changed as the Browns now lead the league with 15 takeaways after recording 13 all last season.FLAG DAYCleveland was called for 10 penalties, while Baltimore was only whistled for four, and one of them came in overtime and wiped out a big run by Alex Collins.UP NEXTRavens: At Tennessee on Oct. 14.Browns: Host the Los Angeles Chargers on Oct. 14.

The Panthers have released today’s injury report as they prepare for Sunday’s game against the Browns. It’s pretty much what you would expect the first injury report of Week 14 to look like. The Panthers gave several key veterans a break today Christian McCaffrey Jersey 2019 , as they are wont to do on Wednesdays. Julius Peppers, Thomas Davis and Ryan Kalil are among those who took the day off.Amini Silatolu not practicing is of slight concern, however, because according to Jourdan Rodrigue he was seen leaving the practice field on a cart. It could be nothing, but it could also be a concern. We’ll know more as the week progresses. As expected, Cam Newton didn’t throw today. His shoulder is banged up, that’s for sure. The only question is how bad it is, but that’s information that we’ll probably never get. He should be ready to go on Sunday, though. Here’s today’s full injury report:Panthers injury reportDid not participate in practiceS Mike Adams (rest/wrist)LB Thomas Davis (rest)S Colin Jones (illness)C Ryan Kalil (rest)DE Julius Peppers (rest)G Amini Silatolu (knee)G Trai Turner (neck)Limited participation in practiceG Brendan Mahon (concussion)RB Christian McCaffrey (rest)QB Cam Newton (shoulder)WR Torrey Smith (knee)Full participation in practiceK Graham Gano (knee)TE Chris Manhertz (ankle)Practice StatusDid not participate in practice = 0% of a player’s normal repetitionsLimited participation in practice = Less than 100% of a player’s normal repetitionsFull participation in practice = 100% of a player’s normal repetitionsGame StatusOut = Player will not playDoubtful = Player unlikely to playQuestionable = Uncertain if player will play The Ravens entered the game with the league’s best defense Blue Torrey Smith Jersey , and they were favored on the road against the Panthers. It didn’t take long for both of those facts to look dubious. The Panthers handled the Ravens easily 鈥?on both sides of the ball, frankly 鈥?to cruise to a 36-21 win.It continued a run of quality play for the Panthers (5-2) that started in the fourth quarter against the Eagles last week, and the Panthers looked equally dominant. They held the Ravens in check all afternoon forced three turnovers, and pressured quarterback Joe Flacco the way they hadn’t often this year. Flacco was 22-of-39 for 192 yards, a touchdown and two interceptions, before he was replaced for the final two minutes by rookie Lamar Jackson. They also continued to polish an offense which had been inconsistent, and which was reasonable to question after Cam Newton didn’t throw in practice Wednesday or Thursday with a shoulder issue. There didn’t appear to be anything wrong with it Sunday, as he finished 21-of-29 for 219 yards and two touchdowns, and ran for another 52 yards and a touchdown late. The Panthers rolled up 386 yards against a team which was allowing 280.6 yards per game coming in.The Panthers also reached into their bag of tricks at the right times. Just before halftime Torrey Smith Jersey 2019 , they took a delay of game penalty rather than let Graham Gano try a 62-yard field goal. With five seconds left in the half, it appeared they were going to let backup quarterback Taylor Heinicke throw the Hail Mary in Newton’s place, but he instead dropped a nifty and quick pass to Greg Olsen for a 13-yard gain, which allowed Gano to hit an easier 54-yarder as time expiredIt was the kind of wrinkle no one expected, not the least of whom the Ravens, who fell to 4-4.

The defending Super Bowl champions are back in the playoff race. The Eagles Black Mason Cole Jersey , who were left for dead a couple weeks ago, now have a very clear path to the playoff: Win out and they win the NFC East. Of course, that won’t be easy: Their four remaining games are at Dallas, at L.A. Rams, home against the Texans and at Washington. But they at least have a chance, and would probably make the playoffs if they even win three of their last four. Here’s how the playoff picture looks through Week 13:1. Rams (11-1): They have an easy schedule the rest of the way and a good chance of finishing ahead of the Saints in the standings.2. Saints (10-2): Still the favorites to earn a bye week, but now they have an uphill climb to home-field advantage.3. Bears (8-4): The inside track to the No. 3 seed Christian Kirk Hersey 2019 , but the loss to the Giants hurt.4. Cowboys (7-5): All alone in first place in the NFC East.5. Seahawks (7-5): The Seahawks are looking like a likely playoff team, in a season some saw as a rebuilding year.6. Vikings (6-5-1): At Seattle on Monday night is a huge one in the wild card race.7. Panthers (6-6): Carolina is in a tailspin, but the Panthers still own the head-to-head tiebreaker over Philadelphia.8. Eagles (6-6): Sunday’s game in Dallas is enormous: Win and they’re the favorites in the NFC East, lose and they’re almost certainly not making the playoffs.9. Washington (6-6): They once had a big lead in the NFC East, now they’re in third place and have Mark Sanchez at quarterback.10. Buccaneers (5-7): Jameis Winston is finally playing well, but is it too late to save Dirk Koetter’s job?11. Packers (4-7-1): Another loss cost Mike McCarthy his job.12. Falcons (4-8): This season has been a major disappointment.13. Giants (4-8): Playing better, but still stuck in last place in the NFC East.14. Lions (4-8): Matt Patricia has already lost more games this year than Jim Caldwell lost in either of the last two years.15. Cardinals (3-9): Showed some progress by winning in Green Bay.16. 49ers (2-10): The worst team in the NFC. Moving quickly against a number of other teams Black Christian Kirk Hersey , the Arizona Cardinals inked free agent cornerback Robert Alford to a three-year deal worth up to $24 million with $13.5 million of that guaranteed. That’s been the theme for the Cardinals this year, moving quickly and beating out other teams. The rub on Alford is that he played 2018 while battling through a high ankle sprain, sending his play tumbling downward in effectiveness.Ryan McCrystal of Bleacher Report had some interesting info:That’s the crux of the concern for Cardinals fans and one shared throughout much of the NFL community. It’s not that Alford cannot play, in fact he’s been rather steady as a solid CB2 for a number of years, it is what does he have left in the tank?If 2018 was an injury aberration, that is great, but he is also 30 years old Sam Bradford Jersey 2019 , meaning his play could just be hitting the decline. On the other hand, my buddy Ian Wharton likes themove for the Cardinals.Ian yearly breaks down corner play and isn’t overly concerned with Alford bouncing back. He was surprised however that Alford was essentially able to get two guaranteed years on the deal.Which begs the question... Was that necessary for the Cardinals to best the other six interested teams? While we wait to see who Alford is as a player still, there have been some interesting ideas of what the signing signals. The Cardinals are still in the market for another CB as Alford would likely fill the roll of slot CB.Bradley Roby’s name keeps coming up, could the Cardinals essentially double down in FA?Could the Cardinals still be keying on a CB in the first three rounds of the draft? The reality is that Steve Keim has put the CB2 position on the back burner the last six seasons, now, for the first time in his tenure he is looking to address it in the long-term.That’s a good start.

Stitched Michael Palardy Jersey

The Panthers had a big addition to their injury report on Wednesday.Quarterback Cam Newton was on the list as a limited participant. A right shoulder injury was given as the reason for Newton’s curtailed work as the team started preparations to face the Ravens on Sunday.Panthers head coach Ron Rivera downplayed any concern about the quarterback’s readiness for that or any other games Youth Michael Palardy Jersey , however. Rivera suggested that giving Newton a little more rest during the week in order to keep him fresh may be a regular occurrence.“General soreness,” Rivera said. “Guy played a heck of a game … it鈥檚 that time of year where we have to be smart with our guys.”Safety Mike Adams and defensive end Julius Peppers were both out of practice entirely for rest days while defensive end Mario Addison (back), linebacker Andre Smith (hamstring) and wide receiver Torrey Smith (knee) were out due to injury. The Panthers defense yesterday was as much the story of their loss to the Falcons as it was the story of their victory over the Cowboys a week ago. Tevin Coleman became the first back in 22 games to rush for over 100 yards against Carolina. Matt Ryan did his best Cam Newton impression to the tune of 2 touchdowns. Luke Kuechly missed a tackle that allowed Tevin Coleman to rush for 27 yards down the Panthers’ sideline, y’all. That isn’t going to happen every day.The optimistic takeaway from yesterday isn’t that the Panthers held Julio Jones to under 300 yards receiving, its that the Falcons won because the Panthers defense had a one in a million fluke game. Its that the offense is still struggling to figure out how to use its best players — or to best use its players — and yet they were still a few drive-stalling drops away from taking control of that game.Take a step back and look at the coverage leading up to Sunday. We couldn’t stop talking about the injuries to the Panthers offense. Greg Olsen is missing and freshman offensive coordinator Norv Turner was tasked with making a game plan around an offensive line whose healthy members couldn’t get jobs as stunt doubles if Keanu Reeves decided to remake the Replacements. We aren’t talking about that today because they did a serviceable job. That is phenomenal.Newton threw the ball from clean pockets a few more times (read: even once) than I expected. Christian McCaffrey and CJ Anderson had room to run sometimes. The problem was that the same could be said for Ryan and the Falcons. It would have been nice if the Panthers had recorded even a single sack. The defense seemed a step behind the Falcons on every play that the Falcons didn’t run perfectly. The Falcons ran too many plays perfectly. It was not a combination the Panthers were able to beat — except that they were. Newton threw one of the most accurate passes I’ve seen in his career on a Hail Mary attempt that would have seen most passers range between bouncing the ball short of the end zone and sending it way out of bounds. Newton’s ball bounced off of DJ Moore’s arm in the middle of three defenders. If you thoughtMoore caught that ball at first then you are not alone. The only time the offense was truly frustrating was when they spent the opening half racking up false start penalties. I’m looking at you, Torrey Smith. Between those penalties and the drops by your teammates Stitched Michael Palardy Jersey , Newton was once again let down by his team. Punch one more game like that and he gets a free, disappointing lunch at Texas Roadhouse. The trick to remember is that Smith is a veteran. He’ll get that under control. The Panthers don’t come nearly as close in their comeback without a few of his catches. Jarius Wright, Anderson, and Ian Thomas share as much blame as he does. The Panthers were able to beat the Falcons yesterday, they just didn’t. The combination of things it took the Falcons to pull off that victory is a rare thing and that’s great news for the Panthers in a division where the Bucs may actually be a team again. The Falcons may have won, but they didn’t look like they could have played much better. The Panthers have obvious leaps and bounds they can take.Division games are always crazy and this one took place in week 2. Teams hardly know who they are at this point. All we know is that the Panthers have displayed Youth Julius Peppers Jersey , at times, a dominant defense and a competent offense. Trent Dilfer won a Super Bowl with only half of that combination. Joe Flacco did too. Do any of you really think Newton is in such a lowly tier as either of those guys? Of course you don’t. Newton’s is averaging more than 65% completions this year. I hear that’s elite. The Panthers have all of the pieces to play meaningful football through January and guys besides that are busy getting healthy to shore up the obvious weaknesses. We know they can play defense. We know Cam Newton is great at more than throwing passes for his receivers to drop. The start of a season is always weird as injuries and realities define the tension between what a team wants to do and what it is capable of doing. For now, the recipe for success in the Carolinas seems pretty simple. Newton needs to keep being himself. Kuechly needs to learn how to tackle. DJ Moore needs to continue his progression from week to week. The Bengals will teach us a lot about the reality of this team and the bye week will come just in time for the Panthers to address that before the rest of the season.

They got a 42-yard Daniel Carlson field goal late in the first half to cut the Raiders’ deficit to a field goal.Gus Edwards has rushed for 53 yards on eight carries. Packers coach Mike McCarthy said after the game that Montgomery was told to take a knee and unnamed teammates slammed Montgomery for not following orders.Montgomery defended himself on Monday while also saying that he and his family received threats in the aftermath of the game. He was then traded to the Ravens on Tuesday and told reporters on Wednesday that he’s no longer interested in focusing on the last few days.“I don鈥檛 know if I was hoping for a fresh start,鈥?Montgomery said. “I will say I was ready to put all of that in the past. … I don鈥檛 want to be rude.

The Citadel didn’t beat Alabama on Saturday Youth Isaiah Oliver Jersey , or even come that close to it. Nobody else will this year, either. But this FCS team from South Carolina put up a better fight for longer than anyone else has so far, taking the No. 1 Tide to halftime at 10-10. Bama didn’t score at all until 12 minutes had passed. In the whole first half, the Tide only got four drives. One was a three-and-out. One was a two-and-out with a fumble. Even Bama’s TD drive required eight plays and 4:23 of clock time, an eternity by its standards. While there was never any risk of a loss, The Citadel legitimately made Bama look un-Bama-like. I can think of a large handful of SEC teams — hello, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, and Missouri, at least — that should have been taking some notes. The Citadel, a military college kind of like Army, Navy, and Air Force*, runs the same triple-option offense those schools run. That system — the flexbone, with two slotbacks and a fullback lined up behind the QB — yielded a 45-yard touchdown run Stitched Tony Gonzalez Jersey , the longest Alabama had given up in three years. The Citadel’s version of the flexbone produced 4.6 yards per carry for the day. The Bulldogs only threw two passes and completed neither, but their 4.4 yards per snap were the sixth-best out of 11 teams to play Alabama this year. The Citadel got more yards per play against Bama than Louisville, Ole Miss, Mizzou, LSU, or Mississippi State did. That’s incredible, given that the Citadel a) is an FCS team, b) is a service academy that can’t even recruit top FCS talent, and c) doesn’t offer a credible threat to pass the ball. Bama knew a lot about what was coming every play, and the Tide still couldn’t totally stop it. *A big difference between The Citadel and the FBS service academies is that students there aren’t required to join the military after graduating, though many do. A big similarity is that most football recruits don’t have any interest in going to either type of school. The triple option has two obvious, equalizing benefits: It runs clock. Almost every play is a run, and a lot of the runs are handoffs straight back into the line, which often takes the out-of-bounds line out of play. Defenses aren’t used to it. In FBS, only the service academies, Georgia Tech, and Georgia Southern run a true flexbone. While a lot of schools now dabble in similar concepts out of the shotgun Youth Tony Gonzalez Jersey , coaches of real triple-option teams will tell you that some of their biggest preparation challenges come when they’re facing other triple-option squads. The Citadel had the ball for more than 19 minutes in the first half. On that long touchdown run above, maybe you noticed Bama cornerback Saivion Smith (No. 4, a really good cornerback whose position coach is Nick Saban) looking confused and getting put on skates while the eventual touchdown-scorer looped around him and started off to the races. And this is the second time in seven years that a team Bama should beat by a zillion kept things interesting by using the triple. In 2011, Georgia Southern (then still an FCS power) ran 39 times for 302 yards against the Tide, staying within 10 at halftime and exasperating Saban, who said years later: That Bama team did indeed win a national championship. But Georgia Southern put up a preposterous 7.4 yards per play, three yards better than any other team the Tide played. The Citadel tried to replicate that and did a solid job, especially in the first half. “We were just seeing a lot of movement, kind of window dressing,” Bama starting free safety Deionte Thompson said. “We kind of got our eyes out in the wrong place at times and just did not fill our gaps. They did a good job with window dressing and got our eyes in the wrong place. When our eyes are on the wrong place, they made big plays.” Bama linebacker Mack Wilson added: Bama hasn’t played any other flexbone teams in this span. It did dominate FCS Charleston Southern, which runs a modified shotgun triple option, in 2015. The teams that play the Tide every year should be paying attention. Every team in the conference is going to be out-talented every time it plays Bama. No one is saying all of those teams must immediately adopt the flexbone. I’d say Auburn should for next week, except LSU tried to quickly install triple-option plays after seeing what GaSo did to Bama in 2011. LSU then got 2.1 yards per play in a title-game loss to Bama. When you go flexbone, you pay a recruiting price. Talented quarterbacks and receivers probably won’t want to play in that scheme. Certain types of offensive linemen, ones who are heavy and specialize in pass-blocking, won’t be options for you Stitched Deion Sanders Jersey , either. Teams like LSU, Auburn, and Georgia would never do that just to have a unique look for Bama. But the majority of the Tide’s competition will never even get close to their talent level. If one of the SEC schools that isn’t a recruiting power wanted to be different and take a chance, it could do a lot worse than the bone. It’s not like Mississippi State, for instance, would be sacrificing much of a passing game. But it might at least give Saban an unpleasant week.DT Justin Zimmer back with Falcons on practice squad The Atlanta Falcons have brought back a recently-cut defensive lineman to the practice squad. So, it’s in with DT Justin Zimmer, out with DB Taveze Calhoun. Zimmer flashed his athletic potential and motor in the preseason and earned a spot on the 53-man roster to supplant the depth on the defensive line. Though, that was pre-injury bug, and being on the back end of the roster can tend to get you waived from time to time. Once DT Grady Jarrett went down, the team needed a more prototypical presence on the interior, which is why they signed DT Michael Bennett. Having Zimmer back allows him to go right back in to the team’s developmental program, which is a plus with Terrell McClain on a one-year deal and Jack Crawford’s contract expiring after 2019. It’s clear they like Zimmer and his potential, so maybe he can be groomed for a larger role down the road. The team could certainly use him one day. Calhoun wasn’t here long, so well wishes to him wherever he goes. Welcome back, Zimmer. Perhaps we’ll see him on the active roster again before the end of the year.

So far if you’ve owned any Arizona Cardinals players in fantasy Stitched Pat Tillman Jersey , your season is....probably not going well. Can their offense get it back on track with Bradford (and possibly Rosen) at the helm?Guess we’ll find out.Start of the Week: Chicago Bears, 3 sacks, 2 interceptions, 1 forced fumble, 44 return yardsThe Bears bring one of the top performing NFL defenses against the Arizona Cardinals who have been the poorest performing offense. If Sam Bradford plays the entire game, these numbers might be even bigger as Arizona has struggled to score and has only 1 touchdown on the year as well as so few snaps and first downs it’s a pain to mention them.Start the Bears defense and it wouldn’t shock me given Bradford’s arm and the desire to push the ball down the field more if he throws a pick-6.Outside of Josh Rosen coming in with some second half heroics, I’d expect that the Bears have a dominant defensive performance on Sunday.Cardinals Start: Ricky Seals-Jones , 4 catches, 1 TD, 60 yards receivingWhile Arizona has struggled on offense, one player who’s received a lot of targets as a result is one Ricky Seals-Jones.Basically, in doing the math....Khalil Mack = Good at footballKhalil Mack + AZ’s offensive line + Scared Bradford = PressurePressure on Sam Bradford = Ricky Seals-Jones targetsExpect Seals-Jones to get looks in this game, and I even think that if Arizona either sees some success on offense or puts Josh Rosen in the game, he might even grab a score against Chicago’s safeties.Bears Start: Trey Burton, TE, 1 TD, 85 yards receivingThe Cardinals have a linebacker problem.Budda Baker will be covering a wide receiver likely on 3rd down. The Rams hit a few tight ends last week and Alex Smith hit Jordan Reed for a touchdown in Week One.Expect the Bears to come out and Trubisky to hit a scoring play to his favorite receiver so far this year.Cardinals Sit: Larry Fitzgerald, WR, 3 catches for 33 yardsCall me crazy, but I think there will be two things the Cardinals will come out and do this week. One: They’ll focus on getting the ball to David Johnson in the passing game. Two: They’ll work on running the football more (with David Johnson)Three: They’ll design ways to get the ball out of Bradford’s hand quickly to the tight ends or backs. That won’t be getting it to Larry Fitzgerald who’ll be in the slot down the field, and I do believe the Bears will try to take him out of the game and force AZ’s young outside corners to be the ones to beat them. That means that Fitzgerald might not be much of a factor if Bradford plays the whole time. Now if Josh Rosen takes over at some point (possible) then he will hold onto the ball longer, look deeper and Fitzgerald’s routes will probably mean he gets some throws his way. But until Rosen is in the game, it’s foolish to assume that’ll be the case.Bears Sit: Jordan Howard Youth Pat Tillman Jersey , RB 16 rushes for 55 yards, 0 TD’sSeems crazy to sit Howard a week after Todd Gurley scored three touchdowns, right? But looking at the rest of the stats, Gurley only gained 42 yards on the ground as Wilks’ defense clamped down on the run game.It was through the air they got burned.I’d guess that this is the week Tarik Cohen gets involved given how badly Chris Thompson abused the Cardinals in Week 1 and guess that AZ will sell out to stop the runSleeper: Jermaine Gresham, TEIf Gresham plays, it’s unknown what his impact could be, but he’s a more reliable pass-catcher than Seals-Jones and might take over the TE1 role.Perhaps it’s him who Bradford starts looking to, and unlike Seals-Jones, Gresham was the 3rd overall in receiving yards for Arizona in 2016 and 2017 (behind David Johnson and Jaron Brown). He’s a solid, if unspectacular receiving threat and if he looks back to form, perhaps Sam Bradford looks his way just like he did back at Oklahoma all those years ago.You can follow @blakemurphy7 or ask fantasy questions on Twitter! Here’s the film.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jUDY0a_YsJwI am going to analyze the first 3 plays of the video, then analyze the TD on the last play of the 1st half at the 2:56 mark (fast forward).Play 1: Situation: 0-0 game, Rams’ ball, 2nd and 11 from Rams’ 18 yard line.Rams’ Formation: Strong Left (TE 89 Higbee, FL 18 Kupp), shotgun, RB Gurley RIGHT (weak side) of QB GoffCardinals’ Defense: 4 man front, 3 under (Baker, Bynes, Benwikere), 4 deep—-in a ZONE look, because RCB Jamar Taylor isn’t in position to play man defense on the flanker. If it was man to man, Bene Benwikere would have covered Gurley off the snap Stitched Adrian Wilson Jersey , instead he plays the hook zone.Play Call: Quick out pass to Gurley to the weak side.Result: 7 yard gain by Gurley on an easy wide open throw and catch, which gets the Rams out of a 2nd and 11 hole deep in their territory, early in0-0 game.Cardinals’ breakdown? Who is supposed to be covering the flat? Benwikere plays the hook zone, so if anything it should be Patrick Peterson on a roll up, with FS Bethea filling in over the top.How the Rams and Sean McVay were smart: They lined up in a strong left formation which typically would key the defense to roll its zone coverage to the left—-but by off-setting Gurley to the right, they felt they could get him wide open with the belief that the LCB Peterson would stay in his deep third and leave the flat open. They were correct.Note: Peterson reacts quickly and makes the tackle, but the Rams’ plan worked to perfection.Play 2:Situation: 0-0 game, 1st and 10, Rams’ ball on their 31 yard line.Formation: Strong Right (TE 89, FL 18), 1 RB behind QB (direct snap), twin WRs left.Cardinals’ Defense: 4 man front, 4 under, 3 deep (Note: the Cardinals were showing a a 44 look a number of times in this game).Play Call: 36 Off-Tackle Right. (36 = 3—-RB through the 6 Hole—the T/TE gap) QB—1, FB—-2, RB—-3....holes from left to right 7—5—3—1—0—2—4—6—8Result: 5 yard gain by Gurley.Cardinals’ Breakdown? DE Benson Mayowa gets kicked out too wide by RT Rob Havenstein.LB/S Antoine Bethea should have filled the hole sooner, but when he gets blocked by TE Higbee, Bethea at least does a good job of forcing Gurley back into the help (good job of contain after Mayowa lost it).The irony is that the tackle is made by DT Corey Peters who was blown backward on a double team but then reacts to the flow, scrapes down the line and finishes up on Gurley. It turns out to be a heckuva play by Peters, otherwise this could have been a big chunk yard play for the Rams. Play 3:Situation: 0-0 Rams have ball in the Red Zone.Formation: Strong Right (TE Higbee and LF Kupp), Gurley single RB.Cardinals’ Defense: another 44 look, 4 man front, 4 under Youth Adrian Wilson Jersey , 3 deep.Play Call: 36 Off-Tackle with bounce-out option to GurleyResult: 12 yard TD by Todd Gurley.Cardinals’ Breakdown?TE Higbee bunny hops to draw DE Chandler Jones inside, and Jones rides down with Higbee. The bunny hops suggests the Rams wanted to entice Jones to close down inside.FL Kupp sticks a strong block on LB/S Bethea and seals Bethea to the inside. Bethea does not get off the block, and has lost his job of contain.RB Gurley sees that Jones has collapsed inside to shout down the off-tackle hole, so he bounces outside, throws an inside-out move on CB Patrick Peterson, which Peterson overplays and then tries his best to recover from, but Gurley gets to the pylon faster as Peterson makes a tackle. (Note: if you keep watching the tape there is play later of the exact same call where Peterson plays it perfectly by funneling Gurley back inside to the help and then Peterson assists in the tackle. This shows how PP21 is adjusting. Kudos to Peterson.Play 4: FAST FORWARD to 2:56Situation: 11-0 Rams under 10 second left in the first half, 4th and goal from the 1 yard line.Formation: Strong Right (TE Higbee, FL Kupp), single RB Gurley, Goff over center.Cardinals’ Defense: Modified goaline defense with both DTs in A gaps and LB Bynes and S Benwikere shading the inside of the B gaps. NO MLB!Note: Steve Wilks had just called time out after seeing the Rams’ formation.Play Call: 32 Dive (Right A gap) to GurleyResult: Gurley 1 yard TD untouched. Cardinals’ Breakdown?* It’s an easy audible at the line of scrimmage for Goff—-all he really needs to call is a QB sneak to his right for an easy TD, but he calls the dive for Gurley just to be safe.DT Nkemdiche gets easily dowblocked by RG Blythe Austin who has the perfect angle on him—-in my way of thinking, Nkmediche was supposed to shoot that gap and create inside havoc. But the way he took a dive on that play suggests that he was coached to do that. There is NO MLB, and S Benwikere does not react to the RG’s down block to fill the A gap (which HAS to be his KEY on the play) and instead he gets easily blocked by T Rob Havenstein. Thus, Gurley is able to strut right through the hole untouched.Note: it is mind-boggling that Wilks, in this critical situation (after wisely calling a timeout), called for this highly unusual and gift-wrapped goaline alignment—-made even worse by having a small safety(Benwikere) be the closest defender to the hole. Even if Benwikere got to the hole as one would hope that he was supposed to, the bigger, stronger Gurley would likely have run him over.Comment—-there are things to teach and build on here—-it’s not all bad (some players are doing their jobs and the Cardinals under Wilks are trying to play physical)—-but, as we can see, when a crucial player breaks down and misses his key or his assignment, the pendulum swings widely in Gurley’s and the Rams’ favor. This is exactly what Steve Wilks is talking about when he talks about “gap integrity.”

With several teams facing off in divisional games White Hayden Hurst Jersey , Week 4 is positioned to be a pivotal point of the early season for many teams. All year, the Baltimore Beatdown staff will compete to see who can correctly forecast the most matchups. Join in and submit picks for each game in the polls at the bottom of the article. Current standings:Kyle A., Kyle B. and VasFrank, Jake and Baltimore Beatdown readersLoganSageDustin and ZachAn analysis of the Baltimore Beatdown staff picksConsensus winnersThe Jaguars defeat the Jets (JAX -7.5)The Packers take down the Bills (GB -9.5)The Chargers beat the 49ers (LAC -10.0)Entering Week 4, teams are still wildly inconsistent, with few organizations pulling away from the rest of the league. This parity is reflected in the staff’s predictions, with just three consensus picks. While the Jaguars struggled offensively in a loss to Tennessee (a stark contrast to their Week 2 success against New England), the Jets are still a team in rebuilding mode with the youngest starting quarterback in the NFL. While Josh Allen and Buffalo shocked the world last week by defeating the Minnesota Vikings, expect the Packers to be prepared and ready to get back on track coming off a loss to Washington. With Jimmy Garoppolo out for the year with an ACL injury, the 49ers should be an easy target for the Chargers. ‘Lone wolf’ picksKyle A. is alone in thinking the Cardinals will secure their first victory of the season (SEA -3.0).Kyle B. is the only staff member who thinks the Dolphins are going to defeat the Patriots in Foxborough (NE -6.5).Logan is solo in his prediction that the Titans will defeat the Eagles (PHI -4.0) and the Broncos will beat the Chiefs (KC -4.5).Sam Bradford’s latest chapter in the NFL is already closing Justin Tucker Jersey 2019 , with rookie quarterback Josh Rosen named the starter for Arizona. Kyle Andrews, and Josh Rosen himself, are some of the few that have confidence in the Cardinals. Josh Weinfuss of ESPN writes:The Dolphins are off to an unexpected hot start, coming into Week 4 with a perfect record. Still, Kyle Barber is the only member of Baltimore Beatdown that foresees them shaking their losing streak at Gillette Stadium. Miami last beat the Patriots in New England in Week 3 of the 2008 season, when Matt Cassel was starting in place of an injured Tom Brady and Chad Pennington was quarterbacking the Dolphins. Patrick Mahomes and Carson Wentz are two of the most promising young signal callers in the league, with Mahomes off to a blazing pace of 13 touchdowns and zero interceptions. Logan is betting against them both this week, predicting the Broncos to rebound from their loss to the Ravens and the Titans to extend their win streak to three. How will the AFC North perform?Over 66 percent of the staff believes the Browns will keep the Raiders winless (OAK -2.5) and that the Steelers will hand the Ravens their second loss on the season (PIT -3.0).Over 55 percent of contributors predict the Bengals will win on the road in Atlanta (ATL -5.5). There is renewed hope in Cleveland, with number one pick Baker Mayfield replacing Tyrod Taylor in Week 3 for the team’s first win since 2016. With rookie corner Denzel Ward already making a huge splash and Myles Garrett shining in his sophomore season, the majority of the staff believes Jon Gruden and the Raiders will be left searching for their elusive first victory in 2018. While the Ravens looked drastically more polished in Week 3 White Justin Tucker Jersey , Beatdown writers anticipate that Baltimore’s offense will fall short in a shoot out with a Pittsburgh offense that has found its rhythm, even without running back Le’Veon Bell. If true, the Ravens will be staring down an 0-2 divisional start. There is less consensus on Cincinnati’s prospects for victory. The Falcons have been up and down thus far, though the offense has scored 61 points since only putting up 12 against the Eagles in the kickoff of the 2018 season. However, Atlanta’s passing defense is ranked 26th in the league, leaving room for Andy Dalton and A.J. Green to exploit their weakness. All writers’ picks can be found in the table below.
