Can these two step up and replace Tampa Bay’s

best pass rusher?"On Tuesday Jordan Whitehead Jersey , the news surfaced that Jason Pierre-Paul potentially suffered a season-ending neck injury in a recent car accident. The extent of the injury is a fractured vertebrae in his neck. Since the news broke, other reports have surfaced that aren’t so dire. Some have estimated a 5-6 month recovery if surgery is required, which would set up a return somewhere around November. One report has been especially optimistic. According to Tom Pelissero of the NFL Network, there is a thought that the vertebrae could heal on its own and that Pierre-Paul would be ready to play by Week One. Obviously, JPP and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are seeking other opinions, even to the extent where he has sent scans of the injury to “several other” doctors, per Pelissero. Regardless of the situation Anthony Nelson Jersey , Tampa Bay’s 2018 sack leader will likely miss time. After failing to draft an edge rusher, the Bucs will have to find a way to offset another hole on the roster. Fortunately for them, they may already have the answer in Shaquil Barrett and Noah Spence. Now don’t get me wrong, both players are nowhere near the player that Pierre-Paul has proven to be. But with the right coaching and setup, they may be able to help balance the loss. Shaquil Barrett has the ability to make plays when called upon. Photo by Justin Edmonds/Getty ImagesThere’s no other way to cut it: both Spence and Barrett have a giant opportunity to make a name for themselves on this team. For Spence, it would be especially relieving to see him make an impact after injuries basically cost him the last year and a half. He is extremely talented, but hasn’t put it all together up to this point.A shoulder injury derailed any momentum from a solid rookie campaign and no one really knows what was going on with Spence in 2018. He just simply didn’t play. JPP’s injury could be his launching point. It could Barrett’s as well. While he’s mostly served as a role player Anthony Nelson Tampa Bay Buccaneers Jersey , Barrett has shown flashes that he can play. He also comes with a huge chip on his shoulder after going undrafted out of Colorado State. Barrett has been able to amass 14 sacks and 25 TFLs over the past four years. According to Pro Football Focus, he was on defensive side of the field for just 276 snaps in 2017, but still managed to sack the quarterback three times. That comes out to an average of one sack every 92 snaps. Pierre-Paul played 933 snaps and took the quarterback down 12.5 times in 2018 - which would be about a sack every 75 snaps. Barrett also managed one pressure every 46 snaps compared to one pressure every 37 snaps for JPP. It’s a dip in production, but it may not be as much a drop-off as originally thought.Hopefully this is all for naught and Pierre-Paul is ready to go by Week One. Not only would the Bucs keep their defensive leader, but it would help ease a lot of growing pains for the new players - and former ones - that are learning Todd Bowles’ system. That’s nowhere close to a guarantee given the Bucs’ recent history of bad luck, but hope springs eternal - especially in the NFL. And here’s to hoping the Bucs can find an answer to this potential dilemma. The Buccaneers fired Mike Smith as their defensive coordinator during the 2018 season and it appears that will be the final stop of his coaching career.Smith made an appearance with Alex Marvez of SiriusXM NFL Radio and said that he has “enjoyed every minute” of being an NFL coach while indicating that the time has come to find “new adventures” away from the game.“I鈥檝e been in this league and coached a long time and I think it鈥檚 time to go do something different,” Smith said Womens Anthony Nelson Jersey , via JoeBucsFan.com.Smith, who turns 60 this year, coached in college from 1982 until joining the Ravens as a defensive assistant in 1999. He was on the staff when Baltimore won Super Bowl XXXV and then moved to the Jaguars as defensive coordinator in 2003. Smith went 66-46 in the regular season and 1-4 in the postseason as the Falcons head coach from 2008-14 and took a year off before joining the Buccaneers staff.

I must admit I had a warm and fuzzy feeling when I thought of our defensive secondary during the off season. While I was not convinced Jaquiski Tartt was a better strong safety than Eric Reid Kyle Juszczyk Jersey , I was pretty excited about the acquisition of Richard Sherman. The idea of him joining Ahkello Witherspoon and Adrian Colbert gave me the crazy idea that we were going to have a pretty solid secondary. I know both Witherspoon and Colbert have been banged up but I must admit I am pretty disappointed in them so far this season. Now we are getting articles about the possibility of them being replaced by guys like Greg Mabin and D J Reed. While I like both Reed and Mabin, I was hoping Witherspoon and Colbert could be part of something special. Perhaps they still can but unfortunately they just don’t look like the same players we saw at the end of last season.Maybe we blame it on the coaching? While I am not as quick as some to start passing around the blame, perhaps there are some things that Robert Saleh and Jeff Hafley could do to help make them more effective? PDTShareTweetShareShareNFC West ranks fourth in NFL.com’s divisional power rankingsWe’re in mid June and it’s far too early to make power rankings for NFL divisions, but we’re going to go ahead and look at some anyways. NFL.com’s Gregg Rosenthal put together divisional power rankings and has the San Francisco 49ers’ division, the NFC West, at fourth. Keep in mind this is straight power rankings. Nothing ranked by quarterback or anything like that. This is the teams, the rosters, and the rankings. Here’s what Rosenthal says about the ranking: I really want to argue against this. In first place is the NFC North, followed by the AFC North Dee Ford Jersey , and NFC South. I want to argue this ranking, but it also seems somewhat adequate. The NFC North has Aaron Rodgers, Khalil Mack, and a solid Minnesota Vikings roster. The AFC North has the Ravens, Ben Roethlisberger, and a revamped Cleveland Browns. I could put the NFC West above the NFC South. The NFC South has the Saints which we all know as a powerhouse, but the Falcons are hot/cold Kwon Alexander Jersey , the Buccaneers have roster issues, and the Panthers are good depending on the year and Cam Newton’s health. The problem with putting the NFC West at third is that it’s unproven with the 49ers and the Cardinals. The Seahawks were in the playoffs last year, but if they can do that magic again is yet to be determined in 2019.The Rams beat the Saints in the 2019 playoffs, but they might take a slight step back in terms of “power”. Still, it’s hard to argue with where the NFC West is in all of this. I’ll turn it over to you. What is your NFL Divisional power rankings and do you think the NFC West should be fourth?

White Russell Bodine Jerseys

Well that news just changed the outlook for Sunday’s showdown with Miami. If you haven’t heard White Russell Bodine Jerseys , Buffalo Bills franchise stalwart Kyle Williams announced on Friday that he will retire following the game Sunday against the Miami Dolphins. That makes this not just another meaningless December game in Buffalo. It means it’s the end of an era. Kyle has been the heart and soul of this team for the better part of a decade and every play he is on the field, you should simply watch just him. DT Kyle WilliamsThis is more of a legacy watch. Kyle will go down as one of the Buffalo Bills’ most beloved players of all time and one of its best, period. What you really need to watch with him, is the passion with which he plays. It would be easy for him to mail it in, during yet another lost season, but that’s not what makes him great. He will bring the intensity and do what he can to make sure others bring that same passion. That is what makes Williams an all-timer: his drive and passion regardless of the situation. Soak it up while you can, because players like him don’t come around often. QB Josh AllenJosh Allen has had a rocky rookie season, but that is (and should) be expected of rookie quarterbacks. Allen has, at times, played at a super-hero level (the first Miami game comes to mind), but he also has plenty of room to grow. That latter category is what bears watching in the finale against the fish. Allen has shown he can take over a game running the ball. What Bills fans should hope for against a deflated Miami team is that he finally takes over a game with his arm. We all know about the well-documented issues the Bills pass catchers have with doing just that: catching the ball. There are plenty of balls, however Russell Bodine Jerseys 2019 , that Allen simply needs to be better on. Yes, he’s still a green quarterback, and there have been signs of improvement, but in the last game of the season, it would be a huge boost to the franchise and fan base if the Wyoming product can just go off. 300 yards and three touchdowns would be a fantastic sendoff to 2018 and a springboard into 2019. RB LeSean McCoyIn a season everyone would rather soon forget, no one would like to develop some amnesia more than Shady. By virtually any measure, McCoy has had the worst season of his Hall of Fame career. His off-the-field issues are well documented and his on-field performance is lackluster. A good chunk of the blame can be put on a horrendous performance by the offensive line. McCoy, though, has been too indecisive and is looking to hit the home run every play, instead of simply taking what is there. Those things combine to make McCoy’s future somewhat murky. Sean McDermott and Shady have said all the right things about wanting him to return, but words in football can prove to ring hollow once the off-season hits. What fans should watch for is any signs of the, ahem White Phillip Gaines Jerseys , real McCoy. A strong performance against the Dolphins may be what’s needed to keep this union together.LBTremaine EdmundsThe rookie linebacker has had a successful season filled with hard-earned lessons and highlights. Edmunds has proved his ability to be an every down backer and has started to show a nose for the ball. The 20-year-old makes the watch list, because he is simply fun to watch. When he correctly diagnoses a play, watch him explode to blow said play up. As the season has progressed, that has happened more and more simply from experience. 2019 should be a breakout year for Edmunds and this finale hopefully provides a launching point for him. CBTre’Davious WhiteThere may be some push-back from this, but something about White has just seemed off since the first Miami game. The normally feisty White has seemed subdued and he has been toasted on some plays where he was there to make a play. If anything, it’s hopefully just a blip on the radar, but the second-year corner can alleviate any concerns with a solid performance against Ryan Tannehill and the Dolphins. A solid performance doesn’t require three interceptions and two forced fumbles. Simply not hearing his name would be a good performance because that would mean there were no flags and he smothered his man. Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY SportsThe 2019 NFL Draft is officially one week away. Teams are in the final stages of setting their draft boards and top decision makers will spend the upcoming holiday weekend discussing strategy. There have been so many rumors and news nuggets, as well as so, so Womens Carl Banks Jersey , much smoke billowing out of the various outlets that it is a bit hard to keep track of everything. So let’s take this opportunity to go back and take a second look at some of the things we might have missed for all the noise.Catching up on Dwayne Haskins Predicting who the Giants will draft at sixth overall is, as Ed has described it, a “crap shoot.” But we do know they at least appear to have done their due dilligence on the 2019 quarterback class. A huge contingent of the Giants’ top brass hit the road to watch Kyler Murray, Dwayne Haskins, Will Grier, Drew Lock, and Daniel Jones in person, then bringing them in to their facilities for Top 30 visits. The last of those visits went to Dwayne Haskins, who the Giants hosted for the draft version of a slumber party. The last day of official visits was Wednesday, April 17th, and the Giants’ leadership had dinner with Haskins on the night of the 15th before hosting him in their facilities for his official visit on the 16th. We don’t know how the Giants feel about Haskins, but he is saying all the right things. In a guest appearance on Ian Rapoport’s podcast, Haskins said that he welcomed the opportunity to sit behind Eli Manning, saying “Eli Manning is a legend. I grew up watching Eli and I’d have no problem sitting behind him and learning from him Mark Bavaro Jersey , like how I did with J.T. [Barrett] at Ohio State,” Haskins told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport on the RapSheet and Friends podcast. “Whatever team drafts me, I’ll be able to sit back and learn from the guy that’s there and be able to compete with him and push him, but know that a guy’s there because he’s a veteran, he’s done it before, he’s professional.”That has to appeal to a Giants team which is still all-in on Manning as their best option at quarterback. It also has to appeal to the local media as well. It’s fair to say that if the Giants select Haskins, it will be the Football Gods’ gift to the NYC back pages. A “local boy made good,” who went to the Giants’ youth camps after the team beat the 18-0 New England Patriots, getting to live out his dream by quarterbacking the team he grew up loving? The human-interest stories practically write themselves. Reverse draftIn a nice shake-up from the endless deluge of mock drafts that make up most of our media diet this time of year, Spencer Hall put together a “Reverse Mock Draft” over on the SB Nation main page. Essentially, it looks at the top prospects as though they were free agents who could sign wherever they wanted. Perhaps unsurprisingly, he pairs Haskins and the Giants as an “ideal” match. I would definitely encourage everyone to check out the whole piece. It’s a nice change of pace and an entertaining read.Quinnen Williams? Well, the Giants can dream, can’t they?Haskins wasn’t the only last-minute Top - 30 visit for the Giants. A day after the Giants hosted Haskins http://www.giantslockerroom.com/authentic-eli-manning-jersey , they had Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams in for a visit. Quinnen Williams (as opposed to Alabama offensive tackle Jonah Williams) isn’t likely to fall to the Giants at sixth overall. He is widely regarded as one of the three best players in the draft, and commonly called the best player in the draft. But it is within the realm of possibility, and he is the one player we can say unequivocally that Dave Gettleman would draft regardless of who else is on the board.Gettleman’s draft tendenciesThere’s a reason why I say that the Giants would select Williams over any other player in this draft: Dave Gettleman loves him some defensive tackles. In a piece for The Ringer, looking at some of the biggest draft tendencies in the NFL, Robert Mays identifies the defensive line, and defensive tackle position in particular, as the apple of Gettleman’s eye. That Gettleman loves defensive linemen shouldn’t be much of a surprise as it is a trait he shares with Jerry Reese (who drafted either an offensive lineman, defensive lineman, or both in the first three rounds of eight of his eleven drafts) and both of them learned under Ernie Accorsi.

The first installment of our ‘What If...’-series."This article is the first of a series that I will be working on this offseason: I’ll be taking a look back at some of the moments that altered the course of the Patriots franchise, and wondering what might have happened if they didn’t. I’m going to start with, arguably, the most important. The date was September 23, 2001. The country was still reeling from 9/11, and fans were just happy to get back to some normalcy after the NFL took the previous weekend off. The Patriots’ game against the Jets started with Joe Andruzzi running out of the tunnel with two American flags, and his brothers, all NY firefighters Ryan Allen Jerseys 2019 , being the honorary team captains. There was a very bittersweet feeling in the crowd, we were happy to be back at the Patriots game, but we also knew that all of our lives would be changed forever.Little did we know, Patriots games were about to change forever as well. Drew Bledsoe had just signed a 10-year, $103 million contract that offseason, and looked like he would be the Patriots starting quarterback for the rest of his career. After going 5-11 the previous season, fans were looking for the team to turn things around this season with their second-year coach, Bill Belichick. And, unbeknownst to many people, Tom Brady had worked his way from fourth string to backup QB in one season. It was an ugly game, and the Patriots were losing 10-3 to their AFC East rivals. Bledsoe threw a pair of bad interceptions, one happening in the end zone, and Marc Edwards had two fumbles, both in Jets territory. With just over five minutes left in the game, Bledsoe was forced out of the pocket and started running towards the sideline. He was being chased by Mo Lewis, and, just before he could get out of bounds, Lewis caught up to him.The hit that Lewis delivered to Bledsoe has been talked about by many of the Patriots on the sideline that day. Some say it’s the hardest they have ever heard, and I’ve even heard that Bledsoe’s facemask was actually bent in. One thing is for sure White James Develin Jerseys , Bledsoe is one of the toughest QBs in pro football history. That play happened on third down, so the Patriots had to punt, when they got the ball back, Bledsoe was the QB who went into the game.He even led the Patriots into Jets territory, before Edwards fumbled away their chance at tying the game. When the Patriots got the ball back after the Jets went three-and-out, it was Brady who would lead them onto the field. That made sense, since Bledsoe literally almost died that night. He had suffered a hemothorax, and there was blood pouring into his belly — in fact, there ended up being three liters of blood in his belly. He was in and out of consciousness during his ambulance ride to the hospital. It resulted from a blood vessel tearing in his chest, something that most doctors agree almost never happens as a result of a sports injury (there’s a fascinating Sports Illustrated article from a few years ago about how his injury has changed the way team doctors approach injuries to their players). We all know what happened after Bledsoe’s injury: Tom Brady stepped in and never looked back. The Patriots, thanks, in part, to Bledsoe coming off the bench in the AFC Championship Game, won Super Bowl 36, and five more since. But what would have happened if Bledsoe never went down?I don’t think it’s reasonable to assume that Brady would’ve ended up starting a game in 2001. I know that some people (my dad included), feel that Brady was going to take over in 2001 no matter what, but I just find it hard to believe. Forget the fact that Bledsoe had signed the richest deal in NFL history that offseason and had been the starting QB since being drafted first overall in 1993. The team loved Bledsoe. He was a leader in the locker room, and one of the most respected players on the team. Even to this day, with Brady being the QB that won them the Super Bowl James Develin Jerseys 2019 , the majority of the members of that 2001 team still consider it to be Bledsoe’s team. I can’t imagine having a squad made up of mostly veterans and pulling the plug on your starter mid-season.Without Brady as the starter, would the Patriots have been even close to the team they ended up being? There’s no way to know for sure, but I don’t think so. Primarily because I think Brady was better equipped to run Belichick’s offense. He was willing to take the short, check-down passes that the offense is built on, whereas Bledsoe was more of a gunslinger, looking at his downfield reads first. This doesn’t mean that he couldn’t be good in that system (although his completion percentage was well below 60% the year before), but there’s a real chance they may not have made the playoffs, never mind winning the Super Bowl.So let’s turn our attention to the offseason. Would Belichick have made the decision to move on from Bledsoe and insert Brady as the starter before the 2002 season? Brady’s contract ran through 2003, but Bledsoe had an option before the 2002 season that would’ve allowed the Patriots to cut him without suffering much of a penalty. The problem is that the rest of the NFL still thought highly of Bledsoe, and, if there’s one thing Belichick prides himself on, it’s maximizing his assets. So maybe Belichick would’ve traded Bledsoe during the offseason and moved on with Brady. Here’s the problem with that: as I already said, Bledsoe was one of the most respected guys in the locker room, and they would not have been happy if Bledsoe had been shipped off in favor of some sixth round pick. They would’ve gotten over it, and been just fine, but one would imagine that the chemistry in the locker room would be far different if that is how the Bledsoe to Brady transition had happened. Would they have been as galvanized and close-knit as they would become? As I said, there’s no way to know, but it’s hard to believe they would have. One thing that I think is reasonable to assume is that Belichick would eventually have moved on from Bledsoe in favor of Brady. If you don’t believe that, let’s go back to Cleveland Infant Byron Cowart Jersey , where he cut hometown hero Bernie Kosar just five weeks after signing a 5-year, $37 million contract extension. Yes, Bledsoe had signed the richest deal in NFL history before the 2001 season, but, as with most NFL contracts, it wasn’t that simple. There were multiple option years, where the Patriots could cut Bledsoe at very little cost to them, including one after the first season of the contract. All of those signs point to the Patriots being able to move on from Bledsoe fairly easily. But what if he didn’t? What if he thought Bledsoe was good enough that he had to move on from Brady, kind of like how he moved on from Jimmy Garoppolo? I find it highly unlikely that would have been the case, but both of these greats would be so very different. Belichick is the best coach ever, and Brady is the best player ever, but they both benefited so much from having the other. Would they have been able to reach the heights they have without one another? There are many people that have many different opinions on how things would’ve turned out if Bledsoe had been healthy the entire 2001 season, and they’re all pretty valid. Maybe there’s an alternate universe where Bledsoe stayed healthy, and these questions would all be answered. I’m just happy I live in a world where we never had to find out.If you have any ‘What If’s...’ you’d like to see, or one that you’ve often thought about, be sure to comment here, or tweet at us! He is very raw as a player but is still hard to cover. He drew numerous pass interference penalties because he was so difficult to play against. He is tall, fast, quick, and can jump over you. He would be a monster for any NFL CB to cover even as he is now. He has strong hands and has made numerous one-handed catches. He has a huge catch radius and super loose hips to get in and out of breaks smoothly. He would be great with back shoulder throws. Once he gets up to speed a CB would have to get on his horse and in no way be able to cover the back shoulder of Boykin. His sheer size makes him a box out candidate on most throws. On this route he just basically runs by the DBs, not showing a lot of trickery. He gets turned around enough to get himself square to the QB. When he reaches up the CB tries to jump and deflect the throw, but he is a good half foot away from the ball. If he was more schooled in receiving he would have slowed down and stacked the CB on his back, then reached up and grabbed the pass...but this worked. This is another play that doesn’t take much route knowledge. He again just runs by the CB and catches a TD Trumaine Johnson Jerseys 2019 ,At the top of the screen you can see the CB is in press coverage and doesn’t even lay a finger on Boykin on his release. Once he crosses his face, the CB is burnt. The QB has a straight shot to Boykin, and as long as he can get the ball long enough it’s a TD.This next GIF is what I was talking about earlier. The ball is late, but still this back shouler throw is deadly because of the speed of the receiver. The CB never knows the ball is coming. He can’t get his head around to see the ball.If Boykin runs hard down the sideline, and the QB is accurate and on time with his throw as long as Boykin doesn’t stop or look back prematurely this play is unstoppable in a one on one scenario. These next few GIFs will show you how size matters to a receiver. Remember Boykin isn’t just tall. He is like trying to tackle a moose when he is squared up, and his momentum is vertical. He blasts through those arm tackles like they are nothing. CBs will have a difficult time tackling Boykin unless they go low and take out the legs. The next clip is spectacular because of the catch.Again there is no CB who can cover this play because of the size of Boykin. Here is the same play from another angle. This play starts with 1 minute 38 seconds left in the game and Notre Dame trailing by 3 in the Citrus Bowl. Notre Dame won the game because of this play 21-17. Size matters. The only reason that Notre Dame was even in the position to make a game changing play is because of this nice catch on a 3rd and 19 play with Notre Dame down 14 to 6.He powered through press man coverage and held onto the ball after taking a big hit. The player #25, by the way, is Greedy Wiliams who should be a late 1st round selection in a few days. He only had 3 receptions in this game, and you saw two of them. These were enough to get him the Citrus Bowl MVP for the game. Here is another TD on a ball that is thrown way too late. The only nuance to this route is the jab step left that backs the defender off and gives him the room and time to get outside all alone. The late throw is the only reason you see the CB even close to the play. Boykin does a nice job of catching the ball with his hands and away from his body. He also turned to give his QB a big target to throw at.So far you can see that Boykin has made all his plays with his physical prowess without any real skill involved. This last clip he shows you some forethought Boykin shows while running this route.Stanford is playing a cover 2 zone. The play is designed to bring the slot receiver into the flat to occupy #13 the right corner so he doesn’t drop back on the play. The ILB #27 Sean Barton drops back into the passing lane with the safety #5 Frank Buncom playing the deep right quarter of the field. The hole in the zone is on the sideline about 20 yards downfield. It’s a rhythm throw as Boykin has to get there as the QB arcs the ball over #25 and onto Boykin. Again it’s nice to be tall. This was a big play with only about a minute left in the half. There you have it. Boykin has all kinds of physical talent, but he has not to this point developed into a efficient, skilled receiver; and you have to wonder why not?He only played in 26 college games, starting in only half of them. He has no idea how to read a defense White Terrelle Pryor Sr. Jerseys , work a CB or even basic nuances of route running yet he still caught 59 ball and had 8 TDs; all with very poor QB play. He makes contested catches, receptions where he gets hit soundly and still holds onto the ball. He would be a red zone target right away for any team, and if he can develop you have a game breaker. So what do you think? And as always GO JETS When the agent for Vikings free agent linebacker Anthony Barr got on the phone to tell his client about a five-year, $75 million deal with the Jets, it was supposed to be a celebration. But Barr didn’t see it that way, with immediate hesitation that led him to back out on the deal a day later and return to the Vikings.Agent Ryan Williams told ESPN that he could sense Barr’s lack of enthusiasm over what appeared to be a winning lottery ticket.“He said, ‘I feel like I just made the worst mistake of my life,'” Williams said.Because the negotiations happened during the tampering window, Barr couldn’t sign anything anyway until Wednesday. So after the Jets made their offer, which seemed agreed upon, Barr’s second thoughts led his agent to ask the Vikings for a last-ditch chance to keep one of their defensive cornerstones, which came in that Monday night. Tuesday would be decision day.“I was up for all morning Terrelle Pryor Sr. Jerseys 2019 , just looking at my ceiling, just looking for a sign,” Barr said. “Talking to everybody, trying to figure something out. . . .“I was trying to convince myself of something I knew that in my heart didn’t feel right, and I think if you follow the heart, I can live with the results.”It’s not that Barr’s doing poorly with the Vikings, signing a five-year deal with $67.5 million, with $33 million in guarantees. It’s $1.5 million a year less than he’d have made in New York, but that didn’t stop a family celebration that included margaritas, tacos, and tears.“It happened the minute he said I’m going to go back [to Minnesota],” his mother Lori said. “There were tears. It was pure elation — relief White Rishard Matthews Jerseys , appreciation, feeling valued, feeling reconnected. Just a range of emotions but mostly just sincere happiness that he was getting to go back to where he got to start it all and be with the people he loves to be with, with the organization, in a city he really enjoys and has now become his second home. It just really made waiting and not knowing worth it.”The Jets said they understood the business, and wanted guys who were all-in. And the Vikings benefitted from the time built into the system, for Barr to realize the place he was all-in was the place he already was.

That could happen next month, but is more likely in 2020.The 36-year-old Fitzpatrick has a 50-75-1 record as a starter for seven NFL teams. He started seven games for Tampa Bay last year and had a passer rating of 100.4, which ranked ninth in the league. The Dolphins traded Tannehill on Friday to the Tennessee Titans in a deal that also involved draft picks. Tannehill became Miami’s starting quarterback as a rookie in 2012 and never took a snap in the postseason. After Miami went 7-9 last year, owner Stephen Ross fired coach Adam Gase, ordered a youth movement and acknowledged it may take several seasons to build a winner.Fitzpatrick could become Miami’s 20th starting quarterback since Dan Marino retired following 1999 season. The Dolphins and new coach Brian Flores have the 13th choice in the April draft, and might devote their first-round pick to a QB for only the second time since taking Marino in 1984.Fitzpatrick has thrown for 190 touchdowns and 29,357 yards, but has been inconsistent and turnover-prone. He entered the league in 2005, and his longest stay with any team was with the Buffalo Bills in 2009-12.He had four 400-yard passing games last year for the Buccaneers but yielded the starting job to Jameis Winston in November.Fitzpatrick joins two other quarterbacks on the Miami roster, Luke Falk and Jake Rudock. Neither has started in the NFL.With moves made since the hiring of Flores, the Dolphins are given a 200-1 chance to win next season’s Super Bowl, worst in the NFL. A poor record would mean a high first-round draft pick in 2020, and they’re well-positioned to splurge in free agency a year from now. They’re still in the market this offseason for help on the offensive and defensive lines and at cornerback.

Will Giants end up with higher draft pick than 49ers? The New York Giants were thumped in Week 6 Laken Tomlinson Jersey , losing 34-13 to the Philadelphia Eagles on Thursday Night Football. Rookie running back Saquon Barkley is looking like the real deal, but there are few other positives about the team. Odell Beckham Jr. remains an incredibly talented receiver, but Eli Manning is dragging this team down in a big way.The Giants dropped to 1-5 with the loss, and until Sunday, have the worst record in the NFL. Entering the week, the Giants were tied with the San Francisco 49ers, Atlanta Falcons, Arizona Cardinals, Oakland Raiders, and Indianapolis Colts. Prior to TNF, Football Outsiders listed the Cardinals with the best odds for the top pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, followed by the 49ers, Buffalo Bills, Raiders, and then Giants. FO’s odds use a variety of factors and simulations.Meanwhile, the folks at MyBookie are offering a 49ers-specific look at the draft order. Entering TNF, they presented the wager, “Which team will record the better record by the end of the 2018 NFL Regular Season?” The Giants were a slim favorite at -125, with the 49ers at -105. That line will change with the Giants loss and then whatever happens on Monday for the 49ers.The 49ers and Giants square off on Monday Night Football in Week 10. The 49ers have their bye after the game, while the Giants play the game coming off their bye. Since it is on Monday, the game cannot be flexed out of primetime. It’s a shaky contest with Jimmy Garoppolo hurt and Eli Manning playing with a fork sticking out of his back, but there is tremendous potential value in draft pick projections. The 1-5 Giants travel to Atlanta next week and then host Washington before their bye. I don’t think anybody would be surprised to see New York sitting at 1-7 for this game, although I think they beat Washington and are 2-6.Meanwhile, the 1-4 49ers travel to Green Bay this weekend, host the Los Angeles Rams Dee Ford Jersey , travel to Arizona, and host Oakland. They likely lose the next two games to drop to 1-6, but Oakland and Arizona are toss-ups at this point. Yes, the 49ers lost at home to Arizona last week, but given how that game played out, the game in Glendale is very winnable. I think there’s a decent chance they’re 3-6, but this team is proving things could go south in a hurry. The team also confirmed the signing of former Rice RB Austin Walter"The San Francisco 49ers today announced they have signed LB LaRoy Reynolds to a one-year deal. The team also confirmed the signing of former Rice running back Austin Walter. To get back to a 90-man roster, the 49ers waived defensive lineman Ryan Delaire in a corresponding move. Delaire was originally signed to the 49ers practice squad on September 26, 2018 and was promoted to San Francisco’s active roster on October 6, 2018. He appeared in one game prior to being waived on October 15. Delaire re-signed to the team’s practice squad on October 17 and was promoted to the active roster on December 29, 2018.We spoke about Walter yesterday. Here’s the press release from the team on Reynolds:Reynolds (6-1, 240) originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars as an undrafted free agent on May 3, 2013. Over the past six seasons with the Jaguars (2013-15), Chicago Bears (2015), Atlanta Falcons (2016-17) and Philadelphia Eagles (2018), he has appeared in 84 games (seven starts) and registered 59 tackles, two fumble recoveries and one pass defensed on defense to go along with 43 tackles and two fumble recoveries on special teams. He also appeared in seven career postseason contests and registered one tackle on defense as well as four tackles and two fumble recoveries on special teams. In 2018 with Philadelphia, he appeared in all 16 games and ranked second on the team with nine tackles on special teams. He also appeared in two postseason games and registered one tackle on both defense and special teams. A 28-year-old native of Norfolk, VA, Reynolds spent four seasons (2009-12) at the University of Virginia. With the Cavaliers, he appeared in 45 games and earned All-ACC Honorable Mention honors as a senior in 2012 after finishing with 90 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, four passes defensed and 1.0 sack.

After being declared the starter following training camp and playing the first nine games of the season Womens Jerry Hughes Jersey , Buffalo Bills left guard Vlad Ducasse was unceremoniously relegated to the bench after losing his spot to rookie fifth-rounder Wyatt Teller. In the final year of his three-year contract with the team, it’s likely that general manager Brandon Beane chooses to move on from the nine-year veteran. If so, the team may look to Teller to fully replace him, or they could look towards the draft in search of an upgrade; and they have a hole at right guard, where John Miller is a free agent.Tier ICody Ford (Oklahoma) Michael Deiter (Wisconsin)Dalton Risner (Kansas State) Ford has spent his entire career at right tackle, but his overwhelming athleticism and strength make it easy to project him inside. He has elite movement skills and long arms and is worthy of a first-round pick. As mentioned in a previous article, Deiter can play all over the offensive line, and is a tough, aggressive blocker. He specializes in earning movement in the run game and paying the iron price. Another player who spent his entire career at tackle, Risner is a projection, but he clearly possesses the strength and quickness to play guard and play it well.Tier IIChris Lindstrom (Boston College) Beau Benzschawel (Wisconsin)Connor McGovern (Penn State)Michael Jordan (Ohio State)Garrett Brumfield (LSU)Lindstrom has spent his career playing guard in Boston College’s run-heavy, play action scheme, but he may struggle adjusting to one that requires more pass blocking. Benzschawel’s scouting report reads similarly to John Miller’s: strength at the point of attack, but not flexible or mobile at all. A player who wins with quickness and leverage is McGovern, who would fit nicely into a zone scheme. Jordan has the look of an offensive lineman and his ceiling is high, but he’s raw and needs major development before he can begin to reach that ceiling. You have to love Brumfield’s mentality to dominate on the field—it’s just unfortunate that he gets so lazy and sloppy in pass protection.Tier IIIRyan Bates (Penn State)Dru Samia (Oklahoma)Ben Powers (Oklahoma)Bates was stuck playing tackle (poorly) the past year, so a move back to guard may be in the cards for him. His footwork is about what you’d expect from a tackle http://www.thebillslockerroom.com/authentic-eddie-yarbrough-jersey , but sadly his anchor against bigger tackles is as well. Samia looks great when moving, pinning and blocking at the second level. But if asked to block one-on-one, as he recently was against Alabama, he struggles. Powers is almost the same way, but he doesn’t move nearly as well as Samia. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Kyle Williams knows he’s more than capable of returning for a 14th season. What the Buffalo Bills defensive tackle wasn’t sure he can handle is spending another spring and summer of practice and training camp watching his children play T-ball and soccer on FaceTime. The lure of being with his family overcame Williams’ passion for football in announcing Friday that he’s retiring after Buffalo (5-10) closes its season hosting Miami (7-8) on Sunday.“I love team. I love competing. But at the end of the day, it comes down to what are the most important things,” the 35-year-old Williams said following practice. That still didn’t make it easy for Buffalo’s longest-active tenured player who established himself as a respected leader and fan favorite for his lunch-bucket approach in a blue-collar community.“I don’t know if there’s ever a good time, whether it’s now or whether it’s two years from now. It’s going to hurt walking away,” Williams said. “There’s going to be a void in my life because of how much this game and how much this organization and what this team has meant to me.”And yet, Williams is pleased to be leaving football on his own terms in being healthy and showing no signs of a drop in production. What he’s most proud of is having spent his entire career in Buffalo, while also proving wrong the skeptics who questioned whether the 6-foot-1, 300-pound player was too small to succeed at the NFL level after the Bills selected him in the fifth round of the draft out of LSU.“I think the hardest thing for me is going to be … walking away from something that they said I couldn’t do,” Williams said. “I think the main thing was that I never cheated anybody a day, whether it’s our fans, our owners, my teammates. I literally gave all I had every day. And I’m comfortable knowing that and moving forward here.”Williams was a second-team All-Pro in 2010 and earned five Pro Bowl selections. He’s a Pro Bowl alternate this year Ramon Humber Jersey , and welcomed the chance to compete if the opportunity came up to represent the Bills for one last time.Williams made up his mind to retire upon informing his wife a few weeks ago, before breaking the news to coach Sean McDermott on Monday.McDermott joked by calling the news “the worst Christmas present a man could get.”The coach then went on to praise Williams for what he’s meant to the Bills both on and off the field.“We need more Kyle Williams, although they’re hard to find,” McDermott said. “You can’t replace a guy like Kyle. They come around once in a career.”Williams became McDermott’s voice in the locker room, and served as mentor for the numerous youngsters Buffalo added this offseason.Williams’ influence even extended to offensive players, such as running back LeSean McCoy, who referred to the defensive tackle as one of the better leaders he’s ever been around.“Solid career. He’s a guy that likes to go against the odds. I like him, man, I like his hard work,” McCoy said. “When I came here, I realized that type of play and attitude is what Buffalo is all about.”Even opponents paid tribute with the New England Patriots posting a note on their Twitter account, which read, “Nothing but respect.” The post was accompanied by a video of Williams and Patriots quarterback Tom Brady shaking hands following New England’s 25-6 victory at Buffalo on Oct. 29.Williams’ retirement creates a large void for the Bills both on and off the field. And it comes 11 months after Buffalo lost another influential leader, when center Eric Wood was forced to retire after sustaining a career-ending neck injury.Out of 954 defensive plays through 15 games, Williams is second among Bills defensive linemen in playing 621 of them — four fewer than pass-rusher Jerry Hughes. Williams has five sacks, his most since having 5 1/2 in 2014, and has already surpassed last year’s totals with 13 quarterback hits and five tackles for losses.Overall Womens Dion Dawkins Jersey , he has 48 1/2 sacks, 139 quarterback hits and 92 tackles for losses in 182 career games. He also scored on a one-yard touchdown run in a 22-16 win at Miami in last season’s finale, which, combined with Baltimore’s loss to Cincinnati, led to Buffalo clinching a playoff berth and ending a 17-year postseason drought.Williams’ favorite moment was following being with his teammates in the locker room following the win, and watching Cincinnati eliminate Baltimore from contention on Andy Dalton’s 49-yard touchdown pass to Tyler Boyd on fourth down in the final minute. What made the moment extra special was how Williams enjoying the moment with his two sons.“They were pretty young, but I hope they’ll remember that forever, because their dad won’t forget,” he said.Williams has no firm plans on what he’ll do next, while saying he’s had a discussion with McDermott about a possible role with the team.Though the Bills have taken a step back this season, Williams believes the team is headed in the right direction under McDermott and general manager Brandon Beane, and their vision to build through youth.“That’s what makes it tough moving away, because of the direction we’re moving, the young guys we have,” Williams said. “Just know that I’m always going to be a Buffalo Bill, and the main thing for those guys is they’ve got all my support.”

The Giants signed Tanney as a part of their 2018 free agency period to be a veteran presence and another arm to keep Eli Manning from being over-worked in the run-up to the 2018 season. Ultimately, the Giants opted to release second-year quarterback Davis Webb and Tanney spent most of 2019 as Eli Manning’s primary back-up. Tanney took a step down the depth chart as the Giants sought to get a look at rookie QB Kyle Lauletta Doug Kotar Jerseys 2019 , but retook his job by the end of the season. Tanney is a good player to have in the quarterback room and head coach Pat Shurmur has stated that he prefers to carry four quarterbacks on the roster through training camp. The Giants are thought to be looking for an heir to Eli Manning, but the decision to re-sign Tanney shouldn’t figure in their plans to draft (or not draft) a quarterback in the 2019 NFL Draft. NJ.com is also reporting that Kyle Lauletta had “minor” knee surgery this offseason, which could have factored into the decision. With OTAs coming up in the spring White Harry Carson Jerseys , the Giants likely want to be sure they have enough quarterbacks to properly run their workouts.
The Miami Dolphins' undefeated start to the season

came with some early excitement heading into their matchup at New England. That buzz went flat again — in a familiar place — following Miami's lopsided 38-7 loss to their AFC East rivals .The Dolphins (3-1) were looking to improve to 4- 0 for the first time since 1995 — Hall of Fame coach Don Shula's final season.Instead Infant Chase Winovich Jersey , they were humbled in every phase during Sunday's dizzying setback.Ryan Tannehill had been a steadying presence for the Dolphins' offense during the first three weeks of the season, completing 73 percent of his passes for seven touchdowns with just two interceptions, improving to 10-1 over 11 starts in that span. But he regressed against the Patriots (2-2), looking every bit like the quarterback that is now 0-6 in games at Foxborough.Tannehill finished 11 for 20 for 100 yards and an interception. He was pulled in the fourth quarter in favor of Brock Osweiler. Osweiler connected with Frank Gore for a 6-yard touchdown pass in the fourth quarter for Miami's lone score."Not a lot went right for us. It's tough to say one thing at this point because we didn't really execute any part of the game plan that we wanted to," Tannehill said. "To say one thing is going to be difficult this time, and I don't think it will ever be one thing."In his six losses at New England, he has just 837 passing yards, four TDs and two INTs.With Tannehill ineffective, the offense struggled to make first downs. It went 3 for 11 on third down while managing just 172 yards."We didn't come out and start the game like we wanted to," Tannehill said. "We didn't convert on third down, we didn't take care of the football, we didn't gain yardage. We didn't do anything we wanted to, so lot of work to do."Miami also relapsed to a team prone to self-inflicted wounds Chase Winovich Jersey Draft , amassing 10 penalties for 89 yards. Last season the Dolphins' offense led the league in penalties (65) and penalty yards (553).As bad as it looked, running back Kenyan Drake said it was just a shot to the system and not something they can't bounce back from."We're in a good seat," Drake said. I mean, this loss hurts. You know, we wanted to definitely get a 'W,' but we're looking to get things rolling in the other quarter (of the season). So, the thing is we've got to get those things corrected."FINDING POSITIVESIf there was one positive takeaway from Sunday's loss, it might have come on the defensive side of the ball. The Dolphins managed to pick off quarterback Tom Brady twice. Cornerback Bobby McCain snared one on Brady's deep, third down pass over the middle in the first quarter. It was Brady's third interception of the season. He didn't throw his third interception last season until Week 11 against Miami. Minkah Fitzpatrick got the other in the fourth quarter .It marked the Miami defense's ninth interception this season. It had nine all last season. It's why Miami linebacker Kiko Alonso said there is still plenty to be excited about in their locker room going forward."Although it was ugly, it is just one loss," Alonso said. "We are on to Cincinnati and obviously we have to get better."NOT CLOSEThe Dolphins entered the day having won all three of their games this season by one score or less — amassing a record of 16-5 under coach Adam Gase. They are 3-13 in games decided by more than one score.INJURY UPDATEMiami was already down a safety with Reshad Jones sitting out Sunday's game with a shoulder injury.Add cornerback Bobby McCain to the list of players on the mend after he left the loss with a knee injury. Dolphins center Daniel Kilgore also left the game in the first half with an arm injury.Gase didn't have an update on the severity of McCain's ailment."Obviously him not coming back into the game wasn't a really great sign," Gase said.Follow Kyle Hightower on Twitter at ://khightower As great of a player as he was, Gronk may have been a better teammate."I know that Tom Brady is the GOAT Chase Winovich NFL Jersey , but I think people love Rob Gronkowski just as much, if not more. He’s just such a meat head, but also has such a kind heart. Every time you saw him, he was always smiling and laughing. He also gave back more to the community than any player I’ve ever seen. Seemed like he was always at the hospital, not having surgeries, but visiting sick kids and making their days brighter. He’s going to be missed probably more than I can put into words, but, position-wise, he’s as good as Brady: by far the best tight end to ever play in the league, and maybe the most complete skill position player of all time. I don’t know if I could pull out a singular moment from his career, but, at least once a game, he would do something that would make you look at the person next to you and say “How the hell did he do that?”The catch in the corner against the Broncos Chase Winovich NFL Draft , the one handed reception at the goal line against the Broncos, dragging six Redskins 40 yards, and a million other plays. He also stepped up in the biggest moments, making two insane catches in Denver in the 2015 playoffs, both on fourth down, the touchdown against the Seahawks, and the catches this year against the Chiefs and Rams. There’s no one else I would rather throw the ball to with the game on the line. The Patriots have always been able to overcome the personnel losses they have had without skipping a beat. I would imagine things might be different this year. It’s not that they won’t be good, it’s that Gronkowski is literally impossible to replace. He was a once in a generation talent, and a once in a generation personality. That’s one underrated thing about Gronk: everyone loved him.New England is a tough place to play, and you need guys who can lighten the mood and make everyone laugh. Gronk has always been that type of guy, and that will be sorely missed in the locker room. There will be other great tight ends, it’s even possible that the Patriots could draft one next month, but there will never be another Gronk. He blocked like a third offensive tackle Chase Winovich Buffalo Bills Jersey , and was a matchup nightmare on every pass play. My assumption is that the Patriots know that, and won’t try to replace him with just one player. Whatever their answer is, they have a lot of work to do. They have minimal depth at the wide receiver position, and even less at tight end. Helping put Tom Brady in a position to win a seventh ring should be the only priority right now. Of course, Gronk’s agent insinuated a simple phone call mid season might be able to sway him back to the team. After all, who can say no to Tom Brady? At the end of the day, it’s hard to feel anything but happiness for Gronk, though. He gave everything he had to the Patriots for nine years, and, even when his body failed him, he stepped up and put everything on the line for his team. Knowing the shape that his back was in, and that he was playing through an injury at the end of last season, it’s no surprise that he walked away now.If he is Color Rush Chase Winovich Jersey , in fact, done playing football, he went out on just about the highest of notes possible: not only did the Patriots win the Super Bowl, but he had two of the biggest plays of the postseason in two huge moments. As good as Gronk was, he never had that signature play to win them a playoff game or a Super Bowl. He got both of those this postseason. The Chiefs play was just pure physical domination against one of the premier safeties in the league. Then, against the Rams, it was the mix of a perfect throw and an amazing catch. Those two plays will serve as the icing to an already impressive cake. Patriots fans will miss Gronk, although I’m sure we’ll see him around. Any time I’m missing him, I’m going to imagine him making jokes about a specific number and spiking random household items. That will be sure to leave me with a smile on my face, which isn’t surprising, because that’s what always seems to happen when Gronk is around. Well Chandler Catanzaro Jersey , obviously it would be much better with the Buccaneers preparing to play the Patriots, but the Tampa Bay Buccaneers must get back to the playoffs first before thinking about a Super Bowl. Regardless, every NFL fan around the world loves filling up on unhealthy snack foods throughout the day and this year, we get Tony Romo on the call. What could be better?Unlike Tampa Bay, who has 1 playoff appearance in the last 11 seasons, the New England Patriots will be playing in their 9th Super Bowl under the Tom Brady and Bill Belichick era.

In the middle of that underwhelming group Taron Johnson Jerseys Stitched , the center position was a flip-flop of sorts and is even more wide open heading into 2019.Ryan Groy opened the year snapping the ball, but was replaced after a couple games by free-agent signee Russell Bodine, who had started every game for four seasons with the Cincinnati Bengals. Bodine settled into his role and outperformed Groy until a leg injury forced Groy back into the starting lineup.Heading into 2019, Groy is a free agent and Bodine should be recovered from his broken leg. But did he do a good enough job to hang onto his starting role, or even a roster spot, in 2019?All-22 Analysis(Read the full article with GIF analysis by Jeff Kantrowski aka Skarekrow)Russell Bodine played a pretty competent brand of football in his first year with the Buffalo Bills. Never dominating in the trenches, Bodine was rarely a liability either. It was common to see Bodine helping out his guards with blocks and at times looked like the best protector for Buffalo. With Bodine at center, Buffalo is unlikely to establish a power running game without some true maulers to flank him. A more finesse and speed based game should be an easier style to get going with Bodine and require less overhaul around him (though it would still need some).Upon review, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Bodine was not the dumpster fire that was commonly portrayed. One facet of his game that seemed like a strength was move blocking. Bodine is a player who will always be described in context of his surrounding talent. As the Cincinnati weak link there seemed to be some unease in allowing Bodine to take on defenders by himself, with schemes seeming to limit his exposure. In Buffalo he is most assuredly not the weak link and often took on defenders by his lonesome. Bodine isn’t manhandled but he’s not winning either. As a power lineman, there’s much to be desired. On the other hand, it could be quite a bit worse and as they say “practice makes better.” With more exposure to one-on-ones in Buffalo, Bodine seems to have improved from his Bengals days that gave me the impression he was a consistent liability. It’s widely expected that the Buffalo Bills will seek to improve the offensive line this off-season and Russell Bodine shouldn’t be considered safe. Time and energy are finite resources. There are several positions I’d allocate more into fixing than center and if using a strictly triage-based strategy there’s at least three spots on the offensive line I look at before hitting Bodine’s name. That’s not how the NFL tends to work though. With general manager Brandon Beane likely scouring all available players at all positions, there’s no compelling reason not to sign an upgrade if one falls into their lap.Salary Cap Numbers(Read the full article by Dylan Zadanowicz)After losing Eric Wood to retirement, the Bills signed Bodine to a two-year Adolphus Washington Jerseys 2019 , $5-million-dollar deal. Bodine’s signing was a low-end signing to fill an immediate need on the offensive line.Bodine is entering the final year of his contract and unless the Bills miss out of signing a top-tier center in free agency, like Matt Paradis of the Denver Broncos, the savings of cutting him isn’t substantial for a team with over $80 million in cap space.Bodine’s 2019 salary cap detail via Spotrac: Note: OverTheCap and Spotrac differ slightly on bonus amounts2019 cap hit: $2.8 millionRoster bonus: $206,244Workout bonus: $200,000Salary due: $1.9 millionDead money from signing bonus: $500,000Cap savings: $2.3 million if released before workout bonus is earnedIn-house replacement options(Read the entire article from John Boccacino here)Bodine, who is set to be Buffalo’s most expensive offensive lineman in 2019, does have a decent in-house replacement waiting in the wings should the team release Bodine. The only problem? That candidate, Groy, who is considered a versatile swingman who can line up at guard or under center, is an unrestricted free agent. The results weren’t what the Bills were hoping for out of Groy, who ranked 37th out of 39 qualifying centers with a 46.7 grade according to PFF. Groy allowed three quarterback hits and eight hurries. The only other option is Jeremiah Sirles, who just signed a one-year contract for the veteran minimum to stay in Buffalo in 2019. In 2017 he started a couple games for the Minnesota Vikings at center, but hasn’t played the position in Buffalo. He was underwhelming during his 138 offensive snaps in 2018.Free-Agent replacement options(Read the entire article from Sean Murphy)Matt ParadisThe top option is the 29-year-old Paradis, who played for the Denver Broncos this season. A sixth-round draft pick of the Broncos in 2014 http://www.thebillslockerroom.com/authentic-doug-flutie-jersey , he has developed into one of the league’s top centers. PFF graded him at a 79 this year, the second-best grade of any center in the league. Like Bodine, Paradis had his season cut short due to a broken leg, as he was placed on injured reserve following Denver’s ninth game.Mitch MorseThe pivot-man on the Kansas City Chiefs offensive line is the youngest of our three top targets at 26 years old. He is coming off a solid season in a high-flying offense—PFF graded him at 69.5, 13th among centers—and he has started 49 games over the last 4 seasons at center. Morse is gigantic for a center, standing at 6’6” inches tall. He committed 4 penalties this season (3 holds and a false start), and he did not allow a sack.Ryan KalilFulfilling our requirement to speculate on players currently employed by the Carolina Panthers brings us to Kalil, a solid veteran who is nearing the end of his career. At 34 years of age, Buffalo would have to think that he has at least one or two more years left to make this worthwhile. For Kalil, he’d have to think one of two things: either Buffalo is close to competing, or he wants to be somewhere comfortable thanks to his familiarity with head coach Sean McDermott and Beane from their shared time in Carolina. Kalil graded out at 63.6, according to PFF, which was right in the middle of the league’s centers in 2018. Kalil is a free agent, but announced before the 2018 season he was planning on calling it a career, so it’s probably a no-go.Ryan GroyConsider the Bills could re-sign Groy in this scenario White Frank Gore Jerseys , as well.NFL Draft replacement options(Read the entire article by Andrew Griffin)Tier IElgton Jenkins (Mississippi State)Garrett Bradbury (NC State)Michael Deiter (Wisconsin)Dalton Risner (Kansas State)While none of these three are projected first rounders, each of them can be plug-and-play starters. Timothy T. Ludwig-USA TODAY SportsSo now it’s your turn to weigh in. What should the Bills do at the center position this offseason? Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Jordan Phillips wasn’t exactly crushed by the decision of the Miami Dolphins to release him in October.Phillips took to instagram after his release saying he was “free at last, free at last” to be jettisoned from Miami. He continued on to say he wished nothing bad toward his former teammates, but “I couldn’t be happier to be out of there.”Phillips is looking to channel those feelings into Sunday’s meeting between the Bills and Dolphins in Miami.“Most people that leave Miami, that’s really when their career gets started,” Phillips said, via Steven Wine of the Associated Press. “Things have definitely turned around since I’ve been here. Fans love me. My teammates love me.”Phillips didn’t specify the exact targets of his frustration toward the Dolphins. However, he vowed to make any points he had to make in the game on Sunday.“Whoever has something coming to them is going to get it on Sunday,” he said.Phillips was a second round pick of the Dolphins in 2015. He has appeared in seven games for Buffalo after being claimed off waivers, recording 11 tackles with two passes defended.

Good morning Will Hernandez Jerseys Stitched , New York Giants fans! Another game, another loss for the Giants on Monday night, this one by a 23-20 score to the Atlanta Falcons. The Giants are 1-6 for a second straight year, and we should be used to this by now. Let’s go inside the locker room and see what Giants players were saying after their latest disappointment.Quarterback Eli ManningOn the failed fourth-down play in the first half where he chose not to throw to Odell Beckham Jr. ...“Just a little a bootleg moment. Looked back and thought maybe I could get it to Odell [Beckham Jr.], see if he could get it and make some ground but obviously, we had some other guys coming across that could work for me but that’s who I was looking at.”On the failed quarterback sneaks in the final minute ...“We’ve been pretty good with the sneaks all year. In that scenario Youth Lorenzo Carter Jerseys , we tried to surprise them and just get that one-yard with the sneak. We just didn’t have success with it.”On being 1-6 for a second straight season ...“I’m not worried about years in a row. Just shocked to be here again this year. The way we work and the players we have, I’m honestly disappointed but that’s what happens when you don’t play to the caliber that we can and we’re not doing that.”Other playersOdell Beckham Jr. on moving forward at 1-6 ...“I think that’ll be the true test of your character, the grit, the determination. The ultimate measure of a man is how he stands in moments of challenge and controversy. Who you are when things are going well is not a true testament to your character. It’s when times are like this. I hate saying this, but we’ve just got to keep working and just got to keep fighting. You’ve got to keep your hard hat on and keep digging. You never know how close you are unless you stop digging. That’s all we can do. We put ourselves in a hole. Dig yourself out.”Evan Engram, also on being 1-6 ...“We’re in this. We can’t go anywhere. We can’t just quit on the season. It’s definitely somewhere we don’t want to be Lorenzo Carter Jerseys Stitched , but we’ve got to keep working. We have no choice.“We know we have talent. We’re doing things. We’re just not putting the big picture together. That’s what’s frustrating. Like I said, we’re in it and can’t go anywhere. We’re just going to keep working, and it will eventually pop.”Center Spencer Pulley on his first start ...“Obviously, it wasn’t good enough. We didn’t play good enough to get the win, but we did some good things. Obviously, we did some bad things. We will have to watch the film to see what was going on. The run game has obviously got to be better Youth B.J. Hill Jerseys , and that’s something we got to work on. We need to be more in sync as an offensive line, I think. That’s something we’re going to have to watch and learn as a group.”Cornerback Janoris Jenkins on the 47-yard touchdown pass he gave up ...“We had a roll coverage. We were playing where the safety pops out to the corner, and I pop out to the half. They ran a corner-post and threw it to the far hash and caught the ball.“I think I have to stay further inside, but it was just a good play call by them. I got to do better on my end and just move forward.” Let’s check your Monday headlines"WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections New York Giants NewsGiants Training Camp 2016Giants vs. Eagles 2015, Week 17New York Giants NewsGiants news, 4/29: The Daniel Jones debate has only just begunNew <a title="B.J.
