Durable hasn’t been a word associated with tight end Jordan Reed during his NFL career Authentic Paul Richardson Jersey , but he hasn’t missed any of Washington’s nine games this season. That doesn’t mean he’s feeling 100 percent, however. Reed had surgery on both of his big toes after ending last season on injured reserve with a hamstring injury and the tight end said he’s getting constant reminders of the injuries as he goes through the season.“I feel like I鈥檓 starting to come over the curve,” Reed said, via ESPN.com. “[But] I’m still dealing with the pain. I have scar tissue in both my toes, and I’ve got to run routes and cut hard and slam my feet every day. I’m starting to learn how to manage it Authentic Zach Brown Jersey , find what works for me and what takes away the pain.”Reed has 37 catches for 391 yards and a touchdown and said his production “hasn鈥檛 been like the past,” which he attributes to the injuries limiting the work he could do with quarterback Alex Smith heading into the season. He’s hopeful that he can stay healthy the rest of the season and then spend the next offseason polishing his game, although the lack of guaranteed money left on his contract could lead the team to consider whether Reed will be back. The broadcast antitrust exception that allows the NFL to sell TV rights in a 32-team bundle prohibits the league from broadcasting games on Friday or Saturday from early September through early December. This year, the NFL will play four games on back-to-back December Saturdays. The specific timing of the start of the games has now been set.On Saturday, December 15 Womens Derrius Guice Jersey , the Texans and Jets will play in New Jersey at 4:30 p.m. ET. The Browns and Broncos will square off in Denver at 8:20 p.m. ET. The following Saturday, December 22, Washington-Titans will start at 4:30 p.m. ET in Nashville, and Ravens-Chargers will kickoff in L.A. at 8:20 p.m. ET.The quartet of games will be televised nationally on NFL Network as part of the arrangement that allows the league-owned broadcast operation to justify the fees charged by cable and satellite providers. By parking four of those games on Saturdays, more Thursday night games can be simulcast on FOX.The Week 15 decision seems curious on the surface Womens Brandon Scherff Jersey , given that the Texans may be the only playoff contender playing on that Saturday. But the Baker Mayfield effect may have attracted the league to put the Browns in primetime. Both of the Week 16 games could be highly relevant to postseason positioning, with the Ravens-Chargers contest possibly an elimination game between a pair of franchises that teams like the Patriots and Chiefs would love to see eliminated from the postseason field. Custom Chicago Bears Jerseys

That was the game that Panthers fans have been waiting to see. Cam Newton was sharp. Ron Rivera and Norv Turner were aggressive both early and often. The defense generated both pressure and turn overs. These are the Panthers that can make a run at the playoffs. We all knew the team had talent and we all hoped they would be able to put that talent together for a complete performance. That they did so is great Cheap Donte Jackson Jersey , but not a reason for optimism. It was a confirmation of suspicion. The reason for optimism is that their complete performance led to a 36 point game that saw the Panthers effectively running out the clock for the entirety of the fourth quarter. The question against this team was whether or not they could score enough points in a single game to keep up with the Kansas City’s and New Orleans’ of the NFL. Yesterday they did that against one of the top defenses in the NFL and still had time to tap the brakes. The defense struggled on the first drive before forcing three turnovers and three punts to cap off one of their more complete days of the year. The offense also struggled on the first drive, as well as on their opening two drives of the second half, but otherwise kept the pressure on Baltimore the whole game. They rarely settled for less than a field goal. The closest you can come to saying anybody had a bad day would be Eric Reid’s missed tackle on Alex Collins’ early touchdown run, Dontari Poe’s poorly timed sideline penalty, and Jarius Wright not catching a ball on third down that hit him in the hands. All of these mistakes were easily overcome by their respective units. That is the kind of team that Carolina can be. That is the team they weren’t against Washington. In the waning seconds of the first half, facing fourth and seven and up 21 to seven, Rivera shocked the world by going for it. Not only was the play call not a half-assed draw play to Christian McCaffrey, it was a pass from back-up quarterback Taylor Heinicke. The completion and conversion on that play allowed Graham Gano to kick a 54-yard field goal and gave the team momentum to carry into the second half. This is what I mean when I talk about the kind of team that Carolina can be. Their mistakes weren’t compounded from drive to drive. They scored and then they tried to score again, regardless of how their opponent was doing. Rivera has talked since he got here about becoming the team that “twists the knife” instead of the team that edges out close games. He is finally coaching with that philosophy and you can see the results.I said a few weeks ago that I was done with Rivera. I argued that he was stuck in his old Da'Norris Searcy Jersey , fuddy-duddy coaching style and had given little evidence that he would change. After eight years, why would he? Yesterday was the game that I never thought I would see from him. The Panthers are prepared to be one of the most dangerous teams in the league, just like I am prepared to eat my words, if Rivera keeps this up for the rest of the season.Geno Atkins facing the Panthers O-Line is a major matchup to watch The Panthers are reeling after facing a good offense and a competent defense last Sunday. The Bengals bring much of the same.Ryan Kalil/Panthers guards vs. Geno AtkinsWhile the Panthers tackles have been surprisingly good, the interior line has been suspect. And it doesn’t get any better as they face one of the best interior rushers in the NFL today. While Cam Newton has been able to check down and throw shorter passes, a guy like Atkins can blow that up real quick. Newton has never done well against interior pressure (What quarterback does?), so these guards need to have a plan. Atkins could make running the ball inside and passing a major problem if not addressed accordingly.Devin Funchess vs. Dre KirkpatrickJarius Wright should be a factor in the slot, but the main issues in the passing game have come from the outside. From down to down, Cam Newton needs a consistent guy he can trust. That guy is supposed to be Funchess Michael Palardy Jersey , but he dropped several passes last week. Wright can only do so much, and we are still waiting for a consistent performance from Torrey Smith. The only legit No. 1 wide receiver Carolina boasts is Funchess, and he will see a lot of Kirkpatrick.James Bradberry/Captain Munnerlyn vs. AJ GreenGreen is coming off a three touchdown performance, and appears primed for another back breaker against a hurt Panthers secondary. However, the good news is Bradberry did a solid job against Julio Jones last week, holding him to 60 yards and no touchdowns. The bad news though is Green has started taking snaps from the slot, meaning he will face Munnerlyn at times. Munnerlyn claims to be ready, but this match-up from the get go appears to be very bad for Carolina. They need a plan for Green, otherwise he could take control.Mario Addison vs. Cordy GlennThe Panthers pass rush struggled mightily last week. Part of that had to do with how dominant the Falcons rushing game was Cheap Shaq Thompson Jersey , but the other factor was not winning one on one match-ups. Wes Horton was the only defensive lineman who made a play of note, and that won’t cut it this week. Julius Peppers still needs to get back to his 2017 self, and Marquise Haynes paired with Bryan Cox won’t be able to do much. Addison once again needs to show up, and put some pressure on Andy Dalton. The interior will give him one on one opportunities, this week he must capitalize if we want to see something better than last week’s dreadful performance.

Ravens MVP of the week: Joe Flacco After traveling to Pittsburgh and defeating the Steelers on Sunday night Cheap Joe Flacco Jersey , Baltimore improved to 3-1 and sit tied atop the AFC North with Cincinnati. In the Ravens’ 26-14 victory in Heinz Field, no player performed better than quarterback Joe Flacco. Flacco has started the 2018 season with a bang. Through the first four games, Flacco has thrown for 1,252 yards, eight touchdowns and two interceptions while completing 64.33% of his passes. Flacco has performed like a top-10 quarterback thus far this season.Sunday night brought another excellent performance from the veteran quarterback. In a hostile rival environment, Flacco threw for 363 yards, two touchdowns and zero interceptions, averaging 8.6 yards per throw and completing 28 of 42 attempts.Flacco and the offense set the tone early with a 75-yard touchdown drive to open the game. The final play of the drive was a completed pass to wide receiver John Brown, who split past two Steelers’ defenders for a 33-yard touchdown. The two have displayed strong chemistry since Brown was signed in free agency. After a forced fumble by Ravens safety Tony Jefferson, Flacco put the ball in the end zone again, this time throwing to running back Alex Collins for a three-yard touchdown. Flacco’s longest throw of the day was a deep arching pass to Brown in the second quarter that went for 71-yards, showing he still has one of the strongest arms in the NFL.Although the offense was unable to score another touchdown, Flacco continued to deliver accurate passes in critical situations. 11 different players caught passes for Baltimore during the game as Flacco was able to stand tall in the pocket and survey the field. On several key third downs, Flacco connected with wide receiver Willie Snead IV to convert and sustain the drive. Flacco targeted fourth-year tight end Maxx Williams five times as well, for 51 yards. Wide receivers, tight ends and running backs were all involved in the passing game against Pittsburgh. Flacco has led the Ravens to the eighth-ranked passing offense. A much-improved start to the season compared to 2017.Five takeaways from the Ravens’ 27-14 win over the Broncos In a wild Sunday afternoon game, the Baltimore Ravens defeated the Denver Broncos 27-14. Despite how poorly the Ravens started, they found a way to battle back and take complete control. Baltimore’s offense bounced back in a big way, specifically with an improved game plan, in week three, while the defense held up well despite the absences of C.J. Mosley and Michael Pierce. 1. Marty Mornhinweg should be one of the biggest winners of week 3Similar to the Bengals’ game plan in week 2, Denver ran a fair amount of man coverage. However Cheap C.J. Mosley Jersey , unlike in Cincinnati, the Ravens’ receivers were able to create separation due to an improved scheme. They ran several high-low concepts, and their receivers had more time to get open as the protection held up nicely. Mornhinweg also made an extra effort to get Alex Collins involved in the offense. Although the pass to run ratio was still far from ideal, Collins carried the ball more times against Denver than he did in the first two weeks combined. He finished with 68 rushing yards and one touchdown. Collins also caught three passes for six yards. 2. Don’t call it a comebackJoe Flacco had one of his worst performances in recent memory last week. Blaming Flacco entirely for the collapse in Cincinnati would be inaccurate, but he was far from satisfactory. He missed on several throws, while consistently making horrible decisions with the football. Flashing forward to week three, he was seemingly a different quarterback. Although Flacco missed on a couple of throws, he made excellent decisions with the football. The Ravens’ offense did not turn the ball over. However, there were some close calls, including a Flacco fumble. Although his performances at home compared to showings on the road could be a cause for concern, Flacco rebounded well.3. The Ravens still have an issue along their offensive lineThe box score shows that Flacco was only sacked twice, but that does not tell the whole story. Baltimore’s offensive line was still an issue. Flacco was rushed on several occasions. Matt Skura, who has come under criticism early in the season, had a noteworthy performance. Currently, the Ravens’ most significant issue is left guard. Alex Lewis gave up multiple pressures, including a strip-sack. He needs to improve in pass protection. Otherwise, Baltimore will have to shake this unit up. 4. No C.J. Mosley, no Michael Pierce, no problemThe Ravens’ offense will likely receive most of the praise for this emphatic win. However, their defense should get a ton of credit. After allowing touchdowns on Denver’s first two drives, they did not allow another point. The Broncos also started inside Baltimore’s six-yard line on their first possession. Don Martindale’s defense completely stonewalled Denver’s highly ranked rushing attack, and they pressured Case Keenum early and often. On several occasions Womens Justin Tucker Jersey , they were unable to get to Keenum, but the Ravens’ edge rushers drew multiple holding penalties.Aside from Kenny Young, Tony Jefferson may have been the biggest standout performer. He was excellent in run-defense as he recorded five total tackles, including one for a loss. Jefferson also had a clutch pass breakup on fourth down to end the game. Linebacker Patrick Onwuasor, who lost his job to Young, stepped up in Mosley’s absence. Although Peanut was solid in run-defense his efforts in pass-defense were what made his performance more impressive. He picked off Case Keenum and would have scored if not for a Matthew Judon penalty. 5. The Ravens are already seeing their 2018 draft class paying dividendsThe Ravens finished the 2018 NFL Draft with 12 new players, and with nine of them on the active roster, it was expected that more than a few would make a significant impact this season. Despite only six 2018 draft picks being active in week three — Lamar Jackson, Kenny Young, Bradley Bozeman, Mark Andrews, Orlando Brown Jr., and Zach Sieler — the Ravens saw a couple of rookies make significant contributions.Kenny Young was all over the field. His sideline to sideline speed was on full display as he was excellent in both run defense and coverage. Young finished with a team-high ten tackles, including one for a loss. His ability to cover tight ends and running backs will only help Baltimore moving forward. After selecting Hayden Hurst with the 25th overall pick, the expectation was that he would emerge as Flacco’s ‘security blanket.’ With Hurst on the sidelines due to a stress fracture in his foot, Mark Andrews was in line for a larger role, and he has taken full advantage. Andrews had a touchdown last week, and he followed that performance up with a two-catch 59-yard showing.

Smith has been suspended for four games without pay for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. The suspension Youth Michael Crabtree Jersey , announced Tuesday, stems from Smith's behavior toward his ex-girlfriend.The Ravens released a statement that in part read: "The Ravens fully support the NFL's decision. The NFL found evidence of threatening and emotionally abusive behaviors by Jimmy toward his former girlfriend that showed a pattern of improper conduct. Our player's behavior was inappropriate and wrong."The suspension will take effect after the final mandated roster cuts on Sept. 1 and extend through Baltimore's game at Pittsburgh on Sept. 30.Smith, in a statement issued by the Ravens, said: "I promise that I have already learned much and will continue to learn more from this experience. ... I take full responsibility for my past conduct."Smith will be allowed to participate in all of the Ravens' preseason activities, including games. The 30-year-old is one of Baltimore's best defensive backs. The team said it reviewed the case to decide whether to keep Smith on the roster."We convened a group of Ravens women and men executives, not directly involved with our football operations, to review the matter. We also engaged in conversations with Jimmy about his past behavior and his intention to change," the statement said."Additionally Youth Tony Jefferson Jersey , it is our understanding that following a long-running and difficult custody dispute with his former girlfriend and mother of his son, Jimmy has resolved his custody and support issues."As a result, the Ravens will allow Smith to return after his suspension."Jimmy has acknowledged his behaviors were wrong and accepts full responsibility for them. He has completed a clinical evaluation and has agreed to undertake any follow-up care or treatment that may be recommended. ... Jimmy has assured us that he is fully dedicated to making this change. He also understands the consequences if he does not."Smith has played seven seasons for Baltimore since being drafted in the first round of the 2011 draft. He started in 12 games last season before an Achilles tendon injury forced him to miss the team's final four games. During those four weeks, he chose to accept an NFL suspension for using performance enhancers. Phillip Lindsay drew much attention after gaining 213 yards from scrimmage on 32 touches in the first two games. But the Broncos rookie running back had only four carries for 20 yards Sunday, having earned an ejection in the first half.“It’s my first time ever getting ejected, so yeah I was surprised,” Lindsay told Troy Renck of Denver’s 7 News. “It’s not in my character. That’s not who I am. I love the game of football.” Ravens linebacker Terrell Suggs had a strip-sack of Case Keenum that prompted a scrum for the football. Lindsay dove on the pile late and then began throwing punches as he was lying on his back, apparently in retaliation. Officials Cheap Ronnie Stanley Jersey , though, cited only Lindsay, penalizing the Broncos 15 yards and kicking Lindsay out of the game.“To be smart. That’s the lesson,” Lindsay said. “I have to be smart. I am fighting for my teammates, and I can’t do that if I am sitting here in the locker room.”
