Cheap Rashan Gary Jersey

On Friday Cheap Rashan Gary Jersey , Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson told Jimmy Fallon that there’s “a great potential” for Wilson to eventually become the highest-paid player in NFL history. So when precisely would that Wilson eclipse Aaron Rodgers‘ $33.5 million per year? Here’s what Seahawks coach Pete Carroll told at the Scouting Combine on the question of when contract talks will commence with Wilson, whose current deal expires at the end of the 2019 season: “That effort’s ongoing, now, you know? We have a tremendous relationship with Russ and he’s been an incredible part of our club and like I said, the community Youth Rashan Gary Jersey , all aspects of the league, all aspects of sports around the country, he’s an extraordinary factor. And we like to celebrate the years that he’s had with us with continuing more years and putting it all together. So that’s ongoing.”So if it’s ongoing, when does it end? Last year, we explained that Wilson’s mindset at the time was to resist long-term offers and to let things play out on a year-by-year basis. If he were to pursue the Kirk Cousins model Darnell Savage Green Bay Packers Jersey , Wilson could force application of the franchise tag for a couple of years before forcing his way to the open market, in turn forcing the Seahawks to compete with others for his services moving forward. With a cap number of $25.286 million for 2019, Wilson’s franchise tag in 2020 would bump to $30.34 million. In 2021, the franchise tag for Wilson would become $36.41 million. Come 2022, the rule guaranteeing a 44-percent increase would push the cap number all the way to $52.43 million.Would the Seahawks pay him $52.43 million for another season Kevin King Jersey , or would they let him hit the market? (The other option would be the transition tag, at $43.69 million for 2022, but that would guarantee only a right to match.)The bigger question is whether the Seahawks would put enough on the table to get Wilson to forgo the Cousins approach, and ultimately whether the guy who has a habit of ending every press conference and interview by saying “go ‘Hawks” would tell the ‘Hawks goodbye. It was an aggressive move to move up nine picks to take the Maryland safety. How he performs ultimately could determine how good this draft class is."While there are numerous articles all over the internet right out dishing out letter grades for each team’s performance in the 2019 NFL Draft, the truth of the matter is we won’t know the actual results for a couple years. That being said Darnell Savage Jersey 2019 , we can prognosticate on moves teams made that raised some eyebrows and the Green Bay Packers were indeed one of them. Many will think that move might be the selection of Rashan Gary at 12th overall, but perhaps an ever bigger question mark would be the team trading up from 30th to 21st overall to select Darnell Savage, a safety from Maryland. While Savage is a fine athlete, may had him projected as a second day draft pick. Gary had his injury concerns but he flashed enough skill to warrant at least some to grade him a first round pick. So at this very early stage, history ultimately could look back at the Savage pick and then render its verdict on the 2019 Packers draft class.Savage should have no trouble elevating the play of his position on the roster given their pathetic performance at safety in 2019 Color Rush Darnell Savage Jersey , but ultimately it will be his selection that could likely determine how good or bad the 2019 draft was for Green Bay.No pressure, kid. Now onto today’s curds.Speedy Darnell Savage key to success of Packers’ draft—PackersNews.comSavage has the tools and the talent. It’s up to defensive coordinator Mike Pettine and staff to maximize it all.Packers’ defense has changed the most—Packers.comThe draft once again leaned heavily towards the defense and while it might sound harsh to say the excuses are gone for Pettine, they kind of are. There has been an influx of athleticism the last two seasons and now it’s time to do something with it.Packers produce third-most athletic class in 2019 draft—Packers WireThere is obviously more to playing football than being athletic but you can’t say that Brian Gutekunst didn’t draft some gifted athletes in his two drafts at the helm.South Alabama’s Jamarius Way invited to Green Bay Packers’ rookie minicamp—AL.comGreen Bay did not draft a wide receiver, which was a surprise to some. They instead are going the undrafted free agent route and Jamarius Way is one that will be trying out. ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) — Frank Gore isn’t scared of anything. Not the next hit he’ll take. Not how many yards he’ll gain. And especially not questions about his age.Whatever fears the 36-year-old Buffalo Bills running back once had evaporated during his college days at Miami where his pro football career was in jeopardy of being over before it even began after Gore tore ligaments in both knees over a two-year span.“Fear? As long as I’m healthy I’m good,” Gore said.“Just knowing it could be taken away from me, that’s why I try to go hard every time,” he added. “What I’ve been through, I know it’s not guaranteed. So why not? I feel if God blessed me to do this, why not go have fun? Why not go 110 (percent)?”And don’t ever suggest luck has had anything to do with it.“I’ve been through a lot. To get here wasn’t easy for me. I’ve been through ups and downs. I had to learn how to walk again, run, get my mind strong LeSean McCoy Jerseys Stitched ,” Gore said. “I can’t say luck. I’m blessed. It’s the man above.”Though Gore is known for putting himself through a grueling offseason workout regimen, someone has certainly been looking out for him over a career which stands as a model of consistency and durability. And he’s showing no signs of dipping five games into his 15th season, and first with the Bills.Since the San Francisco 49ers selected him in the third round of the 2005 draft, Gore has missed just 14 games because of injury — and only two since 2011.In the meantime, Gore has eclipsed his contemporaries — including college teammates Clinton Portis and Willis McGahee, as well as former Bills teammate LeSean McCoy — to enter an elite echelon. Two weeks ago, he became the fourth player to surpass 15,000 yards rushing with a 109-yard performance in a 16-10 loss to New England. When Buffalo (4-1) returns from its bye week off to host Miami on Oct. 20, Gore will be 79 yards away from becoming the ninth player to reach 19,000all-purpose yards.Age hasn’t been an issue. According to Pro Football Reference, Gore’s 6 Youth Kyle Williams Jerseys ,242 yards rushing after turning 30 lead all players.Gore has finished each of his 14 seasons leading his teams in yards rushing, including a three-year stint in Indianapolis and last season in Miami. And he’s currently leading Buffalo with 333 yards rushing on 75 carries. The numbers are so mind-boggling, Hall of Fame running back Thurman Thomas couldn’t think of a better way of expressing his respect than by saying: “Frank freaking Gore.”“That’s crazy, crazy numbers,” said the former Bills star. “I don’t think he gets the respect that he deserves throughout the National Football League. People need to take notice and really understand his career and understand that this guy has been a great player throughout.”Thomas isn’t making comparisons in noting that unlike Emmitt Smith and Walter Payton, Gore having played on some forgettable teams. Gore has reached the playoffs only three times, all during the 49ers’ three-year run ending with the Super Bowl loss to Baltimore in the 2012 season. What led Thomas to take notice is when noting Gore joined Smith as being the only two running backs to have started 200 games.“Phew, I don’t know, can he play two more years?” Thomas said. “Probably so.”Gore doesn’t have an expiration date in mind. He reassesses his future each offseason in determining whether he still believes he can produce and, just as important, whether a team is interested in signing him.Gore acknowledged a sense of relief when the Bills contacted him once the free-agency period opened in March. He was so excited upon signing a one-year contract Kyle Williams Jerseys Stitched , Gore spent part of the day parading around the team’s facility wearing a Bills helmet.“A lot of teams are scared to deal with guys my age, at my position,” he said. “They say, a running back shouldn’t be playing past 30. Can’t do it.”Gore’s proving to be an exception, even if it means putting up with a few old-man jokes.Teammates rib Gore by noting they were in middle school when toggling him while playing Madden NFL.Upon suggesting a reporter watch tape of his running style in college, Gore broke into a hearty laugh when jokingly asked if they used film back then. And Gore smiled, when noting the only thing that makes him feel old is being reunited with former college and 49ers teammate Ken Dorsey, who now serves as the Bills quarterbacks coach.Dorsey isn’t surprised by Gore’s accomplishments. He recalled how driven Gore was to stand out among his peers at Miami before and especially after his knee injuries.“Obviously, when you’re young, you’re not saying, ‘OK Youth Doug Flutie Jerseys , this guy’s going to be a top-four leading rusher’ at the time. But now, looking back it makes sense,” Dorsey said. “He’s always wanted to be on the football field. He’s always wanted to play and compete. That’s just who he is.”Gore chalks it up to one simple reason: his love of football. It’s a passion he developed as a youngster playing tackle football with his friends in the backyards, streets and playgrounds in Coral Gables, Florida. He took pride in knowing how difficult it was to bring him down. It’s the same desire that got him through his injuries, and what keeps him coming back each spring.“I don’t think about no age,” Gore said. “As long as you love it, and continue to think young, you can do it, right?”

Murray-USA TODAY SportsSummer school rolls on here at Big Blue View, as we do our best to shine light on various aspects of the game we all love and obsess over. Continuing our look at evaluating the quarterback position, we move from processing speed to arm talent. Throughout the entire draft process there might be no more nebulous term than “arm talent?” Every quarterback profile uses that phrase in one way or another, but what exactly goes into that trait and how does one identify it in a prospect? The first thing that comes to mind when talking about a quarterback’s pure ability to throw the football is arm strength. Certainly the YouTube/highlight era we live in makes this easy, with the ability call up in a matter of seconds some impressive throws from quarterback throughout the college and pro game. But football graveyards are littered with tombstones highlighting quarterbacks who could dial up the velocity on throws...but little else. So there is more to arm talent than velocity alone. When evaluating quarterbacks and their arm talent, pure velocity is but one component. You also need to study other aspects to passing such as touch, feel, placement and trajectory. A simple way to frame the question is this: How well can the player move the football from Point A to Point B given the situation in front of him? Not every problem is an nail and not every arm is a hammer. The quarterback needs to balance the situation and demonstrate that he can make the right throw in the moment.Last draft cycle, Kyler Murray from Oklahoma was a prime example of arm talent. Consider this quick clip that combines some of the elements necessary: Velocity, touch, feel Deandre Baker Buffalo Bills Jersey , placement, and you see it to all levels of the field. These throws are prime examples of what Murray can do with his arm:You were probably expecting his long touchdown pass against Alabama in the playoffs. Fear not gentle reader, we will get to that play. But on these two plays Murray flashes impressive arm talent. On the first play he works through multiple reads before throwing a seam route into the end zone, which he delivers with a perfect mix of velocity and placement, dropping the throw in over the defender but before the back line of the end zone. On the second, Murray uncorks a deep ball that covers 40+ yards on the fly, but drops it in while rolling to the right and places it perfectly along the right sideline. Touch and trajectory are also big components of arm talent. Returning to the “Point A to Point B” framing of the issue, there are instances when the ability to throw a football through a brick wall is not the right answer to a question. If the brick wall in instance is a talented safety, trying to throw the football through him just leads to an interception. Instead, the quarterback’s ability to apply touch and understand trajectory is tested. Murray was again a standout in this area, and his understanding of touch and feel is impressive, and on display on throws like this:The corner route is among the toughest to throw in football because a quarterback you face in essence three defenders, as Murray does here: The cornerback, the safety and the boundary. You need to show precision with the throw to get it over the CB, outside of the S, but drop it in so the receiver can complete the play before falling out of bounds. Murray’s precision and touch here against Iowa State is perfect. Here is another example of a quarterback balancing touch Infant Daniel Jones Jersey , velocity and trajectory, and it comes from Brett Rypien from Boise State. Look at this throw on an intermediate seam route against Troy:Rypien’s throw here is perfect. He appropriately balances touch with velocity, dropping this in over the trailing defender but well before any other defensive back could make a break on the route. Now we can turn to the velocity question. One of the standard benchmarks for evaluating arm strength is the “deep out pattern.” Typically, NFL scouts want to see if the quarterback in question can drive the football into the receiver on a deep out route, at about a depth of 20 yards. This throw of Rypien’s checks that box in my opinion:In their game against UConn the Broncos face a third-and-13 just inside Huskies territory, on the 46-yard line. Rypien takes the shotgun snap and uses a crisp three-step drop, hitches and uncorks the deep out route from the left hashmark to the right sideline. He lets this pass go from the Boise State 47-yard line, and drives it down to the UConn 25-yard line where he hits his receiver perfectly just before he steps out of bounds. This throw comes on a near-line, with great velocity and spin to it, covering at least 28 yards, but Pythagoras tells us this throw covers a greater distance. The question to balance on the velocity issue is how much it matters. I have often viewed velocity as more a pure threshold question. Can the player get enough velocity on throws to survive life in the NFL, or not? Anything over and above that gets into an area of diminishing returns. After all, when most NFL offenses operate within 20 yards of the line of scrimmage, having a pure cannon for an arm might impact such a small percentage of plays, that it should not be used to justify reaching for a player early in the draft when other traits are not commensurate with the player’s arm strength. There is also the matter of velocity being a double-edged sword. If a quarterback has been able to rely on pure arm strength to survive throughout his college years and during his development as a passer, it can serve as a crutch of sorts Daniel Jones Jersey Draft , and even hamstring his development in other areas such as processing speed. Josh Allen (and more recently Drew Lock) are examples of this. This quick video breaks this down when it comes to Lock:In the end, the velocity component might be a matter of weight. It is a necessary box to check, but one should not place too much emphasis on the pure RPMs a QB can dial up. Velocity is just one factor but the ultimate issue is how the QB gets the ball from Point A to Point B, and do not forget the other components to that puzzle. Emphasis on not yet.The potential deadline for Ezekiel Elliott to report to Cowboys camp and end his holdout was believed by some to be Aug. 6. But that is not the case, Blogging the Boys’ RJ Ochoa informs us. But Jerry Jones is ensuring the holdout remains interesting. The Cowboys owner’s musings on Elliott have raised some eyebrows in Texas. Even if his comments Sunday were technically about Alfred Morris.Let me repeat that: Morris “has the best feel of any back I’ve ever seen.” And Jones has seen Emmitt Smith... and Elliott... AND Morris, who played for the Cowboys in 2016 and 2017 — who started a total of five games for them — before they decided to move on BECAUSE THEY HAVE ELLIOTT. (And yes, we realize Jones claims to be quoting Brown, but c’mon.)As Ochoa rightfully explains, Jones is quite calculating when it comes to public message-sending. So his statement cannot be taken literally. It can’t even be taken about Morris. It is a warning to Elliott.Just how serious a warning is the question?Obviously, Jerry isn’t going to go so far as to permanently alienate Elliott, right? [Insert Jimmy Johnson joke here. Thank you.] Of course, Jerry is known for his colorful metaphors and enlightening dinner conversation. I mean Daniel Jones NFL Jersey , the man has publicly discussed “a crippled cricket’s ass” — whatever that is — his coach’s penchant for holding handfuls of Jell-O, and of course, glory holes. But Jerry is getting closer and closer to that uncomfortable line. And the ramifications of Elliott’s holdout extend well beyond just himself. Jones’ quarterback and star receiver are seeking their own paydays, although both reported to camp on time. You better believe Dak Prescott and Amari Cooper — and their agents — are paying close attention to how Elliott is treated. Neither may be as good as Elliott, who is arguably the best back in football. But Prescott is the quarterback. And no one can dispute the difference in the Cowboys after they acquired Cooper last fall.Back to that supposed day of reckoning. The reason today’s deadline seemed important was players who don’t report to training camp by Aug. 6 lose an accrued season toward free agency. And since they need four seasons to qualify for unrestricted free agency, well, the deadline looms rather huge for some. Players with only three accrued seasons are merely restricted free agents, subject to tenders — and therefore subject to their teams choosing to match those RFA tenders if they desire. But Dallas had an option to add a fifth year to the end of Elliott’s rookie deal as he is a former first-round draft pick. And to nobody’s surprise, the Cowboys exercised that option, extending Elliott’s contract through the 2020 season. The running back can earn that fourth year then. So today likely will be just another day in an increasingly intriguing holdout. So the saga continues. Reports say the two sides are talking, but rather far apart. Could a Le’Veon Bell situation be in the offing? Here are some of the other big stories around the NFC East since the start of training camp:Dallas CowboysWhile the rest of Dallas is wrapped up in All Things Zeke, the injury bug has begun to bite in Big D.LB Sean Lee suffered a sprained MCL last week. There is no clear timetable for his return.Despite the emotional ties the franchise has with the Pro Bowl middle linebacker, Lee is no longer a vital player on its defense with Leighton Vander Esch and Jaylon Smith around. However, he does remain a starter on their projected depth chart. But Zack Martin is a vital player on their offensive line, and an MRI revealed that the right guard has irritation in a disk in his spine. While his return to practice may come in a week or so, we all know how tricky bad backs can be Daniel Jones NFL Draft , especially for those on the line. And three-time All-Pros are awfully difficult to replace. And Cooper injured his heel, although word is it’s a minor issue.Philadelphia EaglesDon’t get angry, but ESPN says the Iggles have the second-best roster in the NFL behind only the New Orleans Saints. (That sound you hear is Bill Belichick chuckling. He may not laugh, but he does chuckle.)Of course, the margin for error is quite small now that a certain Super Bowl hero resides in Jacksonville. Speaking of margin of error, there is little of it at linebacker now that Kamu Grugier-Hill suffered an MCL sprain and will be out for quite a while. But DeSean Jackson got a hero’s welcome in his return to the Linc. (Isn’t that nice?)And Miles Sanders is breeding hope at running back, Bleeding Green Nation’s Brandon Lee Gowton says. I guess there’s room in the division for two Penn State running backs. Washington RedskinsCoach Jay Gruden’s first 2019 depth chart began with Colt McCoy and Case Keenum as his quarterbacks, his first-round-pick on the scout team (Dwayne Haskins), his left tackle engaged in some kind of bitter holdout — whether it’s over money or the Skins’ medical staff (Trent Williams) — and the latest saga in Adrian Peterson’s life.So 7-9 yet again won’t cut it. But as every New York Giants fan knows, if Ereck Flowers is indeed penciled in as their starting left guard, well, 7-9 would be quite an accomplishment.

It looks like Miami has found a new quarterback."

One of the biggest stories to come out of the NFL draft’s first round yesterday was the quarterback situation in Arizona: after the Cardinals made Oklahoma’s Kyler Murray the first overall pick Womens Hjalte Froholdt Jersey , the team was left with two passers selected in the top ten in back-to-back years. Something had to give when it came to Murray and second-year man Josh Rosen but nothing materialized yesterday. Today, things look quite different.According to a report by Pro Football Talk, the Cardinals are closing in on a deal that would send Rosen to the AFC East: the Miami Dolphins would send a second-round pick — the 48th overall selection — to Arizona in exchange for the 10th overall choice in last year’s draft. NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo added that one or multiple late-round selections might ultimately also become part of the trade.Regardless of the details, it sure looks as if Rosen will join the Dolphins and become the third of four quarterbacks picked in last year’s top ten to end up in the New England Patriots’ division: the New York Jets drafted Sam Darnold with the third pick, and the Buffalo Bills’ Josh Allen with the seventh. The Cardinals then went after Rosen at #10 but are apparently close to also sending him to the AFC East.Needless to say that the investment is a big one for the Dolphins and neo head coach Brian Flores: he now has his quarterback, while the passer landscape in the division has gotten younger — all while 41-year old Tom Brady still reigns supreme.[UPDATE] According to multiple media reports, the Dolphins have traded the 62nd overall draft pick for Rosen. Andrew Whitworth had an interesting take on the Rams’ loss in Super Bowl LIII. The Rams left tackle either said, “At the end of the day Authentic Hjalte Froholdt Jersey , we’re all going to die,” or “At the end of the day, you’re all going to die.” Either way, let’s hope we’re all still alive at the end of the day.It brought back memories of the criticism Tony Romo took after a 2008 win-or-go-home game when, after a 44-6 loss to the Eagles, the then-Cowboys quarterback said, “If this is the worst thing that will ever happen to me, then I’ve lived a pretty good life.”Whitworth Hjalte Froholdt Jersey Boys , like Romo, has never experienced much postseason success. Whitworth, who spent 11 seasons in Cincinnati, had never won a postseason game until this season.“I’m disappointed, but man, you know what, I’ve played 13 years, played almost 13 Infant Hjalte Froholdt Jersey ,000 snaps of NFL football,” Whitworth said, via NFL Media. “Man, I love the game. I love every bit of it. You’re not going to get me to pout and feel sorry for myself. I realize what this game means. I cherish the crap out of it. And I don’t give a crap if you have a Hall of Fame bust, if you’re a Pro Bowler or win 20 Super Bowls, at the end of the day, we’re all going to die.“For me, what means the most is guys see me hold my head high Hjalte Froholdt Jersey Draft , they see me confident in them and loving them. And there for them in any way I can.” Whitworth, 37, still is pondering whether he will return for the final year of his contract or retire.

When Adam Gase agreed to become the new Jets

head coach in January Juston Burris Jerseys 2019 , he cited the presence of quarterback Sam Darnold as one of the biggest reasons why he wanted the job. That feeling has not diminished over the first months of their working relationship. Gase said he thinks Darnold is throwing the ball with more velocity than he did last season and that the quarterback’s overall skill set is making it easy for him to do his job.“I think what it’s allowed me to do is, it’s easy for me to call plays,” Gase said at a Monday press conference. “You don’t worry about, if you have a negative play you’re ready to call the next one. He’s not the kind of quarterback you’re looking to protect. You’re kind of looking at it in terms of, let him work the offense and get on the ball and use the running game to help him. There’s no limitations on him and it’s fun as a play caller.”Gase didn’t say whether he will be calling plays for Darnold against the Giants on Thursday night White Jermaine Kearse Jerseys , but it’s clear he’s looking forward to getting that part of the program up and running. When Jets CEO and chairman Christopher Johnson remained publicly silent amid rampant reports of a potential General Manager change, it should have been obvious that a change could still happen. And now it has, officially.“This morning, I informed Mike [Maccagnan] that he was being relieved of his duties as General Manager of the team, effective immediately Jermaine Kearse Jerseys 2019 ,” Johnson said in a statement issued not long after the report of the change emerged. “Mike helped to execute the strategic vision of the organization during the last four seasons and especially the past few months. However, I came to the decision to make a change after much thought and careful assessment of what would be in the best long-term interests of the New York Jets. I will start a search for our new General Manager immediately. In the interim, Coach Gase will be the acting General Manager. I would like to thank Mike for his time and effort during his tenure, and I wish only the best for him and his wife Betty.”It’s possible that the move would have happened immediately after the draft, and that the rumors and reports that the move was coming prompted Johnson to wait until those rumors and reports died down. Regardless White Brandon Shell Jerseys , Maccagnan is now out and, for now, coach Adam Gase runs the show.

EAGAN Garrett Bradbury Jersey Womens , Minn. (AP) — The Minnesota Vikings have reached the final week of the regular season with a spot in the playoffs still unsecured and a surging division rival boasting one of the NFL’s best defenses on the schedule. This is the type of game, then, for Kirk Cousins to make good on that $84 million in guaranteed money. The NFC North champion Chicago Bears will pose a stiff challenge, as the Vikings are well aware from their previous matchup last month.“There will always be excitement, nerves, anxiety, butterflies, whatever you want to call it. That will always be there. This matters to me Garrett Bradbury white jersey ,” Cousins said when asked about his ability to manage his emotions in high-stakes games. “I joke with people that when the math teacher junior year of high school said, ‘Hey, we’ve got a pop quiz,’ you start to feel the butterflies. Because you want to do well. It matters to you. Frankly, I think when I have butterflies, I play a little better because it heightens your awareness and your attention to detail and your sense of urgency.”With Khalil Mack bringing a relentless pass rush from the edge, Akiem Hicks blowing up running plays in the middle, and Kyle Fuller leading the clampdown in the secondary Garrett Bradbury Minnesota Vikings Jerseys , the Bears made the first three quarters of that game on Nov. 18 miserable for Cousins and the offense . The Vikings had only 77 total yards in the first half, lost a fumble and didn’t score until the last play of the third quarter. Cousins took two 8-yard sacks and threw two interceptions, one returned for a touchdown. The Vikings rallied late in the 25-20 loss“This is not a defense that we’re going against that teams are putting 50 points up against, or having 500 yards of offense, and that may not be the game that’s required to win,” Cousins said. “If our defense and special teams play really well, who knows? Offensively, if we don’t have the most dynamic day but we come out with a win Minnesota Vikings Jerseys Stitched , then that’s what we do.”The Bears (11-4) are assured of at least the No. 3 seed, with the chance to move up and get a first-round bye with a victory over the Vikings (8-6-1) and a loss by the Los Angeles Rams at home to the San Francisco 49ers. With a win, the Vikings will return to the playoffs and set up a likely rematch with the Bears next week in the wild-card round. If they lose, they would need the Philadelphia Eagles to lose at Washington to keep their postseason spot.“We’ve got a lot of guys who have a lot of pride and character, so I think they’ll be ready for the challenge,” coach Mike Zimmer said, “and it will be a great challenge. We’ll obviously need the home fans there and nice and loud for us, but I feel good about it.”Cousins has had his share of shaky performances in his first year in Minnesota Garrett Bradbury black jersey , where he’s signed through 2020. The Bears prompted one of those, but he bounced back the following week to beat the Packers with one of his best games of the season. That’s the kind of resilience Cousins has relied on throughout his career and that the Vikings have exhibited in five years under Zimmer.“It’s not just necessarily with the quarterback,” Zimmer said. “It’s with your whole football team, that you have that kind of mentality that we’re going to fight through this little bit of struggle that we’re having right now and get back to work and good things are going to happen if we keep fighting.” In a little less than ten hours, Kevin Stefanski will no longer be under contract to the Minnesota Vikings. While speculation around his status with the Vikings continues to swirl, one thing that we know for sure is that he’s apparently made an impression on the Cleveland Browns.Multiple sources on social media are reporting that Stefanski is on his way back to Cleveland for a second interview with the Browns, and that he is one of two finalists for the team’s head coaching job. The other finalist is Freddie Kitchens, who was promoted to the Browns’ offensive coordinator job during the season following the firing of Hue Jackson. With Stefanski’s contract expiring today Garrett Bradbury Jersey Mens , he’s free to not only interview for head coaching vacancies, but for offensive coordinator vacancies as well. It’s not out of the realm of possibility that if Stefanski didn’t get the head coaching job with the Browns that he could go to them as their offensive coordinator under Kitchens. At any rate, it certainly doesn’t appear that we’re going to have an answer to the Vikings’ offensive coordinator situation, and it appears I misinterpreted what Mike Zimmer said in his season-ending press conference. The team might still be holding out hope that Stefanski will stay on the Minnesota sidelines, but it appears that things with Stefanski and the Cleveland Browns are getting a little more serious.Obviously, we’re monitoring the situation and will bring you any updates whenever they come available.

This week, PFF published the list of their projected top 50 players for the 2019 season, and the Green Bay Packers were well-represented with three names on the list. Two should be no-brainers, but the third might be a slight surprise, given one of the players who did not quite make the cut. Indeed, Acme Packing Company’s Top 90 ranking put in fourth place the player whom PFF ranked third on their list. Here’s a look at who made the cut as well as the notable omission. David Bakhtiari, OT (13th)The top Packer on the list is the NFL’s best pass-blocker and the league’s best left tackle, as determined by All-Pro voters last year. Bakhtiari is famously a three-time All-Pro (twice a second-teamer and once on the first-team) but has just one Pro Bowl appearance. But not only is he the best player at his position, PFF also ranks him as the top offensive lineman overall on their list, noting that he “leads all offensive tackles on the list in pressure percentage allowed (3.4%) and pass-blocking efficiency (98.1).”Aaron Rodgers, QB (17th)For PFF, their grading system was a big reason why Rodgers still ranks highly, and that is predicated largely on big plays and avoiding turnovers. Yes, Rodgers was out of sorts a bit last year, but with a new offense energizing him, 2019 should have him primed for a big bounce-back season. Here are PFF’s numbers on the categories described: “Though his 5.86% big-time throw rate cracked the top-five among quarterbacks with 300 or more dropbacks last season, it was Rodgers’ ability to avoid turnover-worthy plays that truly propped his overall and passing grades up in 2018. He committed a turnover-worthy play on an NFL-low 1.04% of his dropbacks on the year.”Kenny Clark, DT (37th)Finally White Darnell Savage Jersey , we get to Clark, the standout player on the Packers’ defense a year ago. Clark’s contributions continue to draw more and more praise, and PFF has been leading the charge for recognizing his great play for a while. They had him massively improving his pass rush abilities in 2018 from his first two years: “He also finished the year ranked 11th in pass-rush win percentage (14.1%) and ninth in total pressure percentage (12.0%).” Clark should once again anchor the interior of the Packers’ defensive line in 2019, and he’s locked up through 2020 on his fifth-year option.<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="cS0tAm">One notable omission here is wide receiver Davante Adams, who did not crack the list. Six other wide receivers did, in order from highest-ranked to lowest:DeAndre Hopkins, Texans (9th)Julio Jones, Falcons (10th)Michael Thomas, Saints (12th)Odell Beckham, Jr., Browns (19th)Antonio Brown, Raiders (22nd)Keenan Allen, Chargers (34th)These are all great players, deserving of spots on the list. However, Adams belongs in the discussion with these players, finishing the 2018 season tied for fourth in receiving yards per game and second only to Brown in touchdowns. Expect him to show up here on a similar list in 2020. In a flurry of external free agent spending, Green Bay took the first step in making up for its lost draft of 2015."In college football recruiting, and sometimes even the NFL Draft, an influx of new talent is met by the phrase “we will see in four years.” Those four years provide ample time to fully evaluate what the team has in its newest players and grade them appropriately. It is safe to say that the Green Bay Packers graded out miserably four years ago in the 2015 NFL Draft Kenny Clark Jersey , with all of its prospects aside from Jake Ryan (whose future is still to be determined) failing to be extended into a second contract. With four signings on Tuesday, the Packers swooped into the free agent market with an unexpected determination. But it will be less than four years to assess if Green Bay was able to amend its 2015 draft disaster with a wide-scale pay day.In signing Adrian Amos, Preston Smith, and Za’Darius Smith, the Packers acquired three players from that very 2015 draft class. Amos and Za’Darius Smith were fifth- and fourth-round picks, respectively, while Preston rose into the second round as an elite athletic prospect. In a pessimistic sense, one could argue that their respective teams did not see enough value in the three players to offer them a second contract. But perhaps the Packers were able to withstand the payroll jolt their former teams could not justify or afford. Either way, the Packers broke from the norm, choosing to significantly bolster their roster by rewarding external free agents instead of their own.In the case of the Packers’ 2015 class, there was not much left to re-sign. Green Bay had cut ties outright with Quinten Rollins (2nd), Aaron Ripkowski (6th), Christian Ringo (6th), and Kennard Backman (6th) prior to the beginning of the 2018 season, while dealing away Damarious Randall (1st) and Brett Hundley (5th) in pre-regular season trades. Ty Montgomery (3rd) became a mid-season trade chip while Jake Ryan (4th) landed on Injured Reserve in August. Needless to say, the Packers received little compensation for their selections four years ago on the field, while receiving backup quarterback DeShone Kizer, a 2019 sixth-round pick, and a 2020 seventh-round pick as future assets from the trades. While some of the increase in free agent activity is due to second-year General Manager Brian Gutekunst making his mark and building the roster to his liking Ka'dar Hollman Green Bay Packers Jersey , much of it was due to necessity. Gutekunst inherited a mess of a 2015 draft class to go along with several other ineffective final selection years under Ted Thompson. Green Bay’s cannonball into the free agent pool was truly a byproduct of having to fix years of personnel development issues and it was a last resort to field a competitive defense next season. While Green Bay certainly could draft an upper-echelon pass-rushing prospect in next month’s draft, the team immediately upgraded the position already. And they did so without having to rely on the quick development necessary to produce a first-year contributor. After all, the Packers have struggled over the past two decades in drafting early-round defensive linemen. In acquiring the pair of Smiths, the Packers did not settle on the draft-day lottery ticket to solve a persistent issue that has struggled to be fixed via that route. In Amos, Green Bay lured a former Chicago Bear who can slide into either safety position, but most likely the free safety spot. Amos is lauded for being in the right place at the right time to avoid errors in the back half of the secondary, although he is not the turnover-creating machine Nick Collins once was. However, the Packers just need Amos to be a steady, dependable player to help their young cornerbacks and strong safeties. Unfortunately, Green Bay never found a model of consistency with Randall or Rollins after their rookie seasons, even if Randall was playing out of position. With Amos on board, the Packers added a capable veteran to fill a pressing need without having to draft a fringe first-round talent in a down year at the position. The Packers added three instant-impact defensive players on Tuesday, along with their probable starting guard Billy Turner. They spent significantly — almost stupidly, to steal a phrase from the Philadelphia Phillies’ management this past baseball offseason — in immediately fixing three areas of concern. In the process, the Packers afforded themselves the luxury of being able to truly draft the best available player with their first three picks. With a little luck, the next four years will see a lot more success from new draft selections than the past four. In the end, the Packers gave several players the second contracts they deserved — just not the players they expected.

As the Buffalo Bills (2-3) prepare for Sunday’s

important AFC clash with the Houston Texans (2-3) Youth LeSean McCoy Jerseys , there has been rampant speculation that Pro Bowl running back LeSean McCoy could be on the move. During a press conference Wednesday, head coach Sean McDermott addressed the media about rumors that McCoy, Buffalo’s best offensive playmaker, has drawn interest other teams around the league. One of those speculated to be interested in McCoy’s services is the the Philadelphia Eagles, who lost Jay Ajayi for the season to a torn ACL in Sunday’s 23-21 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. Before taking any questions, McDermott opened his press conference by addressing the McCoy trade rumors head-on, calling McCoy “a valuable member of our football team.” “LeSean is one of our better players. I thought he had a good game the other day. Really, we’re just looking forward to playing the Houston Texans,” McDermott said of rumors swirling around the trade of McCoy. “We get calls all the time, incoming calls happen all the time. Brandon [Beane] and I talk a lot, and I won’t go into any more detail than that.”After a slow start to the season (he also missed the win over the Minnesota Vikings with a rib injury), McCoy carried a season-high 24 times for 85 yards in Sunday’s 13-12 win over the Tennessee Titans at New Era Field. That matched his rushing production through his first three games of the season. In four games, McCoy has rushed 45 times for 170 yards, to go with 10 catches for 64 yards. He has not scored a touchdown in 2018. With the Eagles LeSean McCoy Jerseys Stitched , the reigning Super Bowl champions, in a position to trade for a running back with Ajayi’s season-ending injury, it makes sense for the Eagles to kick the tires on a trade for McCoy, who spent the first six seasons excelling in Philadelphia. Has McCoy heard the trade rumors or given any consideration to changing teams? “I heard about [the trade rumors]. I kind of just stay focused on the job, the task at hand. I’ll let that stuff work itself out. We’ll see what happens,” McCoy told the media. ”No, I just stay focused (on the task at hand),” McCoy continued. “I don’t pay attention to it too much, trade stuff and everything else. I should never have gotten traded (from Philadelphia) anyway, I was killing stuff, you know? I never really pay too much attention to it. This week, we’ve got the Texans; I’ll worry about that. They’ve got a good defense, a lot of big name guys on that defensive line. I’ve got my hands full this week. Last week was my first week of really getting out there and running. [I’m] just trying to get some rust off, get going Youth Kyle Williams Jerseys , play after play. It felt good.” The converted safety looks to make an impact as a full-time linebacker in his first year with the Bills"Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott came to Orchard Park having used a “big nickel” package often throughout his time as defensive coordinator of the Carolina Panthers. Coincidentally called the “Buffalo Nickel” in his playbook, it employed the use of a coverage linebacker or a safety as a nickel back rather than a third cornerback. While with the Panthers, McDermott had linebacker Shaq Thompson as his coverage specialist who was also a stout run defender; however, he has yet to find that style of player while in Buffalo. Rafael Bush played plenty of nickel corner last season, but McDermott has yet to find a linebacker capable of duplicating what Thompson was to the Carolina defense. In today’s installment of “90 players in 90 days,” we profile a safety-turned-linebacker who has the potential to be a similar player to Thompson.Name: Maurice AlexanderNumber: 41Position: LBHeight/Weight: 6’2” 220 lbs. Age: 28 (29 on 2/16/20)Experience/Draft: 5; drafted in the fourth round (110 overall) by the St. Louis (now Los Angeles) Rams in the 2014 NFL DraftCollege: Utah StateAcquired: Signed with Bills on 3/22/19Financial situation (per Spotrac): Alexander signed a one-year deal with the Bills that totals $1 million. That number also represents his cap hit for the season. If he does not make the roster, the Bills will carry a $150,000 dead cap charge.2018 Recap: Alexander spent the 2018 season with the Seattle Seahawks. He did not make the team out of the preseason, but he re-signed with them in October. Alexander appeared in nine games for the Seahawks, combining for ten total tackles. He played on 133 snaps—all of which came on special teams.Positional outlook: Alexander joins a linebacker group that has a clearly established trio of starters in Tremaine Edmunds, Lorenzo Alexander, and Matt Milano. Alexander will battle for time with veterans Julian Stanford, Corey Thompson, and Deon Lacey Kyle Williams Jerseys Stitched , as well as rookies VoSean Joseph, Juwan Foggie, and Tyrel Dodson.2019 Offseason: Little has been written about Alexander’s offseason, but he did take some time engaging with us to discuss an All-22 analysis of his 2018 play. He disclosed that he played through injury last season, but said he is ready to go full-throttle this year.2019 Season outlook: Alexander didn’t have eye-popping numbers last year, but he was only used on special teams, making it difficult to stand out as much as if he had been used on defense. His experience as a safety will help him in coverage packages, even if his numbers aren’t spectacular there throughout his career, either (he has five pass breakups and two interceptions on his career). Alexander’s special-teams ability combined with his skill set makes him an intriguing sub option for the Bills. Competition will be fierce for spots on the final roster, but I’d imagine that Alexander should be on the team come September as one of the backups at linebacker. At worst, he is a solid special-teams player; at best, he is a great addition to the team’s nickel packages. Giving him a chance to play a very particular role is a smart gamble on the part of the Bills.

EDTShareTweetShareShareDraft rumors, news, 4/10: Top players visiting GiantsTommy Gilligan-USA TODAY SportsThe draft process rolls on. It is very nearly done, with just 15 days (and a few hours) remaining until the draft opens on April 25th. But until then, the process rcontinues. We are being inundated with mock drafts, rumors, and gossip on a daily basis, but right now teams are in the final stages of setting their draft boards, and we aren’t privy to that information. We do, however, get to find out which prospects the Giants are bringing in for their official Top 30 visits — which makes up the bulk of the concrete information we get at this point in the calendar. Teams can continue to host prospects until April 17th. The Giants have been bringing in some of the top prospects in the draft White Ray-Ray Armstrong Jerseys , and are clearly focusing on the defensive side of the ball.Visits of noteEd Oliver and Clelin FerrellEd Oliver slipped down draft boards for a minute after declining to do more than jump at the 2019 NFL Scouting Combine. However, once he took the field he reminded everyone just what kind of athlete — and potential game wrecker — he is. Ferrell would probably be regarded as the top edge prospect in almost any other draft. The fact that he is generally considered a second tier prospect has much more to do with the caliber of players available this year than any deficiency in Ferrell’s game. He is a well-rounded, disruptive, and dependable EDGE who would be a very solid pick for the Giants at 17th overall if they don’t choose an EDGE with the sixth overall pick — provided he lasts that long.Devin Bush Two-day visits are somewhat rare, and this could be a sign that the Giants have real interest in Bush. He was the most athletic linebacker in the draft class, and while a touch undersized, is a factor on nearly every play. Also interestingly, he shares a number of traits (including size and athleticism) with Shaq Thompson, the only (off-ball) linebacker Dave Gettleman has drafted in the first four rounds of any draft.Ed selected LSU’s Devin White at sixth overall in the SBN Blogger Mock Draft, but Devin Bush might be on the Giants’ radar at 17th overall if he lasts that long.Nick Bosa (EDGE, Ohio State)We already knew that the Giants would be hosting Bosa for a visit, but it is news that the New York Jets will NOT be hosting him. They might have already seen enough to know that they will select him if available or don’t believe that he will fall past the San Francisco 49ers. They could also be seriously looking at trade scenarios. Either way, it is an interesting developmentQuinnen Williams (iDL, Alabama)The Giants have to do their due diligence and prepare for any eventuality in the draft. The dream scenario would be for Alabama defensive lineman Quinnen Williams to somehow Ray-Ray Armstrong Jerseys 2019 , some way, slip out of the top five and to the Giants at sixth overall. There are scenarios where it could happen, and they aren’t all that wild, but it would still be an almost unbelievable development for the Giants if the best defensive player in a great defensive draft were to slide to them.Rashan Gary (DL, Michigan)Gary is going to be a polarizing player. He looks the part of a potentially dominant EDGE with an elite blend of size and athleticism and a powerhouse school pedigree. However, he just never played or produced up to his potential at Michigan. His physical traits are going to force teams to look at him and ask both why he never dominated as he should have, and whether they would be able to develop him. Greg Little (OT, Mississippi)The Giants have also expressed interest in some offensive players, and we previously mentioned that they have brought in several quarterback prospects. Now they are showing interest in a pair of players from Ole Miss. First up is offensive tackle Greg Little. Little looks the part with a big frame and long arms, which will appeal to Dave Gettleman. But while he passes the eye test, his play on the field leaves something to be desired. A.J. Brown (WR, Mississippi)The Giants bringing in the wide receiver out of Ole Miss was reported by ... Well, the receiver himself. He posted pictures of himself in Giants gear in a story on his Instagram, as well as a shoutout to a former teammate turned Giant White B.J. Goodson Jerseys , Evan Engram. The Giants could certainly use help in their receiving room, and while Brown isn’t quite the physical freak that teammate D.K. Metcalf is (or Engram, for that matter), he is a very good receiver with the frame and ability to line up out wide or in the slot. PodcastDan and I talk more about the Giants official Top 30 visits in the latest edition of the Big Blue Big Board podcast. We pay particular attention to the potential of Houston defensive lineman Ed Oliver to be the best player available and the Giants’ pick at sixth overall. After the break we tackle some draft questions we have received over the last week, including: Whether or not Notre Dame receiver Myles Boykin is an option for the Giants if they want to add a big receiver.Which mid to late-round prospects could help the Giants’ defense.Where Bradley Chubb, 2018’s top EDGE prospect, would rank in this year’s EDGE class.Where to subscribeYou can find and subscribe to Big Blue View radio from the show’s home page. You can find all the shows on our Big Blue View Radio Hub Page. You can also find the shows and subscribe on all your favorite podcast apps:Apple Podcasts | Google Podcasts | Pocket Casts | Spotify | Stitcher | RSSFinally, be sure to check out the home page for all of the shows across the expanding Vox Media Podcast Network. A fan on Reddit who attended a recent talk with Patriots coach Bill Belichick posted that Belichick noted that they’ve effectively played seven seasons in the last six years. The Seahawks have played the next-most postseason games over the last six years, with 11, and the Packers have played eight. No other team has even played half a season’s worth of postseason games over the last six years. Three teams (the Browns Womens Tedy Bruschi Jersey , Jets and Buccaneers) haven’t even been to the postseason in the last six years, and another six teams (the Bills, Bears, Dolphins http://www.patriotslockerroom.com/authentic-lawrence-guy-jersey , Giants, Raiders and Washington) have only been to one postseason game in that time. Extra rest in the offseason hasn’t seemed to help those teams much.At a time when there’s renewed debate about whether NFL players could withstand 18-game seasons, the Patriots are playing 18- and 19-game seasons routinely. The New England Patriots are officially out of the 10-point hole they found themselves in early in the second quarter. After a Cordarrelle Patterson touchdown on a kickoff return cut the team’s deficit to three points, New England’s next offensive possession ended with a touchdown as well – one that would not have been possible without a big fourth down conversion from Tom Brady to wide receiver Josh Gordon:Displaying great hands Andre Tippett Jersey , athleticism and concentration to hold onto the football, Gordon was able to come down with the football to keep the drive alive. A few plays later – one of which a direct snap to running back James White that did not bring any success – New England was in the end zone once again. This time, it was a pass from Brady to White:White’s fifth touchdown of the season allowed the Patriots to get back on top again 21-17.

Chris Herndon Jerseys Stitched ,

Todd Bowles was clearly angry Chris Herndon Jerseys Stitched , even if his voice never rose above its usual low tone. The normally stoic New York Jets coach vehemently denied a published report saying that he was stripping defensive coordinator Kacy Rodgers of some play-calling duties.“(It’s) 100 percent false,” Bowles said Wednesday. “Completely a lie. If somebody said it, it didn’t come out of my mouth.”The New York Daily News reported Tuesday that Bowles , according to sources, would call the defensive plays when the Jets face two-minute and hurry-up situations. Bowles is a former NFL defensive coordinator who is also close friends with Rodgers.New York ranks eighth in overall defense, including seventh against the pass, but has struggled in some key spots in its last two losses to Miami and Cleveland. Against the Browns, Baker Mayfield shredded the Jets in a two-minute situation before halftime. The Daily News reported that Bowles would himself try to improve the defense in that area.“I have no idea where it came from, so I’ve got nothing else to speak on,” Bowles said sternly. “I haven’t done any of it. I don’t know where it came from. It didn’t happen. It hasn’t happened.”Bowles added that Rodgers will continue in his current duties of running the entire defense. It was a surprising display of controlled anger from Bowles, who very rarely shows any emotion during his news conferences.“I’m pretty much a straight shooter,” Bowles said. “If I’ve got something to say Youth Trenton Cannon Jerseys , I would probably say it and it would come out of my mouth. It never came out of my mouth. It never happened. End of discussion. It never happened, it’s not going to happen. If I want to take the play calling or call something on the offense, I have that prerogative to do it as a head coach. I never did any of it.”That wasn’t the only controversy facing Bowles as the Jets (1-2) prepare to take on the Jaguars in Jacksonville on Sunday.During his weekly radio spot on WFAN on Tuesday, safety Jamal Adams suggested the Jets weren’t prepared to face Mayfield when Tyrod Taylor left with a concussion.“To be honest, man, we had to be open to knowing that Baker could come in, but we were prepared for Tyrod,” Adams said during the interview. “When Baker came in, obviously, we didn’t have a game plan for him. But hats off to him. He came in, and he definitely played lights out. And they gained momentum, and we just couldn’t grab it back.”Adams added that the Jets didn’t foresee Mayfield playing against them.“We weren’t prepared for him Trenton Cannon Jerseys Stitched ,” he said. “They’re very similar guys, in ways that they can move the pocket and throw the football. So at the same time, man, we stuck to our game plan.”Adams’ comments fueled criticism from fans and media aimed at Bowles for failing to plan to potentially face Mayfield, even though New York had just three days to prepare for the game last Thursday night.“Yeah, let’s clear that up,” Adams said Wednesday in the locker room. “If you listen to the interview, it tells you everything I said. I simply said we prepared for Tyrod. Obviously, he went down with the injury. We didn’t know that at the time. Baker came in. He had energy. He had confidence. I did not say the coaching staff never had us prepared for two quarterbacks. I did not say that. We’re going to end it at that and we’re going to move on.”Bowles downplayed Adams’ comments, calling them a “teachable moment” after speaking with the second-year player.“He misspoke,” Bowles said. “He didn’t mean it, and he’s a young player. Part of having a young player as a leader Color Rush Chuma Edoga Jersey , sometimes he’s going to have growing pains.”Bowles said he had no reaction when he first heard what Adams said. He also declined to elaborate on what Adams specifically meant with his comments, saying he’s not trying to make any excuses. The comments had some wondering, however, whether Bowles was cast in a negative light and whether the incident exposed a potential disconnect between the coach and players.“It’s not a bad look,” Bowles insisted. “It’s a young player, I know what he meant. Our team knows what he meant, and we moved on from there. It’s not a bad look, it’s part of a young player getting older and dealing with the media. He’s going to have some growing pains, but we’ll work through them and he’ll be fine.”NOTES: S Marcus Maye (ankle/foot) was limited at practice, marking the first time this season he participated in team drills. He’s hoping he might make his season debut at Jacksonville. “Just trying to be out there with the guys and knowing you can help out and you can’t is definitely frustrating,” Maye said. “So if I get the opportunity this week to get out there, that will definitely be a positive thing.” … OLB Josh Martin (concussion) was also limited after not practicing since being injured in the third preseason game. … CB Buster Skrine (knee) Youth Chuma Edoga Jersey , TE Neal Sterling (concussion), WR Charone Peake (hamstring) and S Doug Middleton (knee/finger) did not practice.___ <em>Last week: 8-5-1</em><em>Weeks 1 through 4: 31-29-2</em>Home teams shown in bold. Odds taken from Odds Shark.Pittsburgh (-3) vs. AtlantaBoth of these teams need this win pretty badly. A loss for the Falcons would drop them to 1-4, & a Steelers loss at home would drop them to 1-3-1. Both QBs should have big days, but the Falcons manage to steal one on the road.<em>Pick: Atlanta (+3)</em>Baltimore (-3) vs. Cleveland Baker Mayfield is going to continue to get better and better, but I have a hard time picking against the Baltimore here. The Ravens have one of the top defenses in the league and haven’t lost in Cleveland in five years.<em>Pick: Baltimore (-3)</em>New York Jets (-1) vs. DenverDenver is a different team on the road, and it’s time for Darnold to start getting things going again.<em>Pick: New York Jets (-1)</em>Green Bay (-1.5) vs. Detroit This game could go either way, but I’ll pick the team who is out looking for a little revenge. The Lions ran it up on the Packers in week 17 of last season, winning 35-11 in an ugly game. With Aaron Rodgers back, I’ll take Green Bay.<em>Pick: Green Bay (-1.5)</em>Kansas City (-3) vs. JacksonvilleWith this comment about Tyreek Hill, Jalen Ramsey has added fuel to what already was going to be an excellent game.<em>Pick: Jacksonville (+3)</em>Cincinnati (-6) vs. MiamiJoe Mixon should be back for the Bengals, and Miami is coming off a difficult blowout loss to the Pats.<em>Pick: Cincinnati (-6)</em>Carolina (-6.5) vs. New York GiantsThe state of the Giants right now is… interesting. They can’t protect the QB, so the Panthers should be able to get after Eli. They win this one with ease.<em>Pick: Carolina (-6.5)</em>Tennessee (-5.5) vs. BuffaloComing off an emotional win at home against the defending champs Womens Chuma Edoga Jersey , the Titans struggle a bit against Buffalo. Josh Allen puts forth a solid performance in Buffalo and keeps it close.<em>Pick: Buffalo (+5.5)</em>Los Angeles Chargers (-5.5) vs. OaklandThis game will be like a home game for Oakland. Whether Raiders fans outnumber Chargers fans or not (they will), Philip Rivers loves playing against the silver & black.<em>Pick: Los Angeles Chargers (-5.5)</em>San Francisco (-3.5) vs. ArizonaIt’s time for Arizona to get in the win column.<em>Pick: Arizona (+3.5)</em>Los Angeles Rams (-7.5) vs. Seattle Having last played on Thursday night vs. Minnesota, the Rams are coming off a mini-bye week. I see no reason why they don’t keep it rolling here.<em>Pick: Los Angeles Rams (-7.5)</em>Philadelphia (-3) vs. MinnesotaKirk Cousins always plays well in Philadelphia, and the Eagles, as a whole, have yet to find their groove.<em>Pick: Minnesota (+3)</em>Houston (-3) vs. DallasDeshaun Watson will shine on the bright stage of Sunday Night Football.<em>Pick: Houston (-3)</em>New Orleans (-6) vs. WashingtonI still have questions about the Saints defense, and don’t sleep on Washington coming off a bye.<em>Pick: Washington (+6)</em>

EAGAN Ameer Abdullah Jersey , Minn. (AP) — Anthony Barr slept for a mere two hours on Monday night, awakened at 3 a.m. by the angst of his decision about which team to pick in free agency. His verbal commitment to join the New York Jets triggered immediate unease about leaving the Minnesota Vikings.“I was up all morning just looking at my ceiling, just looking for a sign, talking to everybody, just trying to figure something out,” Barr said.Fortunately for Barr and his conscience, the Vikings didn’t abandon their desire to retain the four-time Pro Bowl linebacker. They presented a contract offer that was more than sufficient to stay for, even if he’d be turning down a richer deal with the Jets. The league’s two-day negotiating window before contracts can be signed worked out rather well for him.Barr got a five-year deal valued at $67.5 million, with $33 million in guaranteed money. The Vikings held a news conference for him and new defensive tackle Shamar Stephen on Thursday afternoon.“This is where I wanted to be. This is my home. I’m embedded in the community. I do a lot of off-the-field work here. I love my teammates. I love this locker room. The culture we’ve developed over the last five years, it’s been awesome. The bonds I’ve made with my friends, my teammates and my coaches are unbreakable, and it just felt right,” Barr said. “This is where my heart was.”Barr, who will turn 27 next week, was the first draft pick, ninth overall in 2014, the Vikings made under coach Mike Zimmer. Though the hard-nosed boss has occasionally prodded Barr to play with more relentlessness, Zimmer has become a big fan of the 6-foot-5, 255-pound player who has manned the strong side linebacker spot on one of the NFL’s best defenses over the last five seasons.“No team we ever play is going to say, ‘Oh Danielle Hunter Jersey , we’re not going to worry about Anthony Barr,'” Zimmer said.Zimmer played a part in the persuasion process. General manager Rick Spielman held onto some hope.“You might as well keep swinging until you’re knocked out,” Spielman said.Barr figured his first foray into free agency would be fun, but he wound up feeling the opposite.“Monday was one of the worst days of my life, really,” he said.As soon as he told his agent, Brian Murphy, he would take the offer from the Jets, Barr called his mother, Lori, and fessed up.“I’m like, ‘I think I made a mistake.’ And she was like, ‘Well, you’ve got to fix it,’ and I was like, ‘All right,'” Barr said.Murphy handled the business part, but Barr was left the bigger mess: his emotions.“I was crying, laughing, sweating. The whole day was just crazy Linval Joseph Jersey ,” he said. The enticement of the Jets wasn’t just more money. There was an allure too, Barr said, of being part of a rebuild.“All the respect to the Jets organization, their coaching staff, but it’s just not what I really wanted,” he said. “I think initially I kind of jumped the gun, even though it was like a full day worth of conversation. I think I was trying to convince myself of something.”Now Barr will be back with a coach he said he’d “go to war for” and an organization from the top down of people he can trust.“We do have a really good team,” Barr said. “Money’s great, but you can’t be miserable coming in to work every day.”The Vikings took one of the smallest amounts of salary cap space in the league into 2019, with about $5 million at the start of the week before the roster moves began. The Vikings sought a pay reduction from defensive end Everson Griffen, Spielman said, who agreed to a restructured deal that gave the team roughly $4 million in more room. Griffen, who has the same agent as Barr, could have been cut had he resisted the request.“It was down to the wire,” Spielman said. Another trade with Vikings West"The Minnesota Vikings have made another trade in the 2019 NFL Draft, this time moving up with a team they made a deal with on Friday, the Seattle Seahawks.Trade between the Minnesota Vikings and Seattle SeahawksMinnesota Vikings receive: Round 4, Pick #12 (#114 overall) - Dru Samia, OL, OklahomaTEAM receive: Round 4 Brett Jones Jersey , Pick #18 (#120 overall), Round 6, Pick #31 (#204 overall)For more on the Seahawks’ perspective on this trade, be sure to check out Field Gulls. The Vikings have moved up six spots in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft, to #114 overall. In order to move up, they sent the 18th pick of the fourth round, #120 overall, and the 31st pick of the sixth round, #209 overall, to Seattle. With that pick, the Vikings selected Oklahoma offensive lineman Dru Samia. This is a pretty decent trade for the Vikings, and they got Samia at a very good spot in the draft. Samia is the sort of lineman that’s going to step in and contribute as a backup, at the very least, and could easily push for a starting spot.As of now, the Vikings’ next selection comes at #159, which is in the fifth round. Keep it tuned right here to find out what else they do in the 2019 NFL Draft!

Womens Blake Martinez Jersey

Looking ahead to the 2019 NFL season Womens Blake Martinez Jersey , the Green Bay Packers will begin to plot offseason moves to get the organization back in shape for a postseason run. Part of that planning will involve evaluation of younger players currently on the roster and Green Bay may have found a true gem with undrafted cornerback Tony Brown. The former Alabama cover man did not record an interception for the Packers this season, but he did force two fumbles while giving the team a jolt of energy on defense and special teams. Green Bay has found diamonds in the rough before and appears to have found another in Brown, who started three of the final four games. But Brown was not the only Packer to take advantage of his opportunities in the second half of the season. With the Packers’ 2018 season now in the rear view mirror, here are a few players who cashed in on their golden opportunities.Tyler LancasterThe undrafted rookie defensive tackle from Northwestern graded out very well down the stretch, becoming a dependable run defender for the Packers in the midst of injuries to Mike Daniels and Kenny Clark. After beginning on the practice squad, Lancaster made the most of his chances when called up in early October and even posted six tackles against Chicago. His ability to consistently withstand blocks from interior offensive linemen before shedding blocks and finding the ballcarrier, as seen below, truly was a bright spot in the team’s dismal ending to the season. Lancaster will enter 2019 firmly in position to earn a depth role once again and became the kind of role player the Packers hoped Montravius Adams would be.Bashaud BreelandIt took longer than anticipated for Breeland to see the field for Green Bay after signing in late September, but when he did he made an impact for Green Bay on defense and special teams. With the luster of his signing, it was easy to forget that Breeland was fighting for a future roster spot on a one-year deal. A foot injury and failed physical prevented Breeland from cashing in on the free agent market last offseason, eventually forcing him to sign for less than $1 million. A groin injury did not help Breeland’s cause during his year in Green Bay, as he played in just seven games. But Breeland showed potential in coverage by intercepting two passes, including a pick-six against Atlanta. He also played a role as a pinch kick returner. The asking price this offseason will determine Breeland’s future with the Packers Demetri Goodson Jersey White , but his play on the field this season will give him a second look. Injury history might also help Green Bay re-sign the veteran to a team-friendly deal that further stabilizes the rising cornerback group.Fadol BrownClaimed off waivers from Oakland only a month ago, Brown only played in four games for the Packers. But his energy, quickness off the snap, and athleticism was present in flashes for Green Bay and should have another opportunity in training camp to see if he can replicate those traits.Although Lancaster’s consistency will give him a leg up, Brown’s performance in back-to-back plays against Chicago was impressive and opened some eyes. Brown’s burst inside off the snap stuffed a third down rush in the backfield. Then, another finely-shredded block on a fake punt attempt resulted in a drive-ending tackle on the next play. No, Brown is not guaranteed a roster spot next season, but he put himself on the radar in just four games.Equanimeous St. BrownMarquez Valdes-Scantling stole the show to begin the season, but St. Brown showed the best adjustment and chemistry with Aaron Rodgers by season’s end.St. Brown’s hands surprised in Green Bay after being a noticeable body-catcher in college. The Notre Dame product showed the capability to make plays on the sideline or across the middle and became more of an intermediate threat as the season progressed. He was targeted a season-high five times in two of his final five games of the season and ended his season on a good note in Week 16 with 94 receiving yards against the New York Jets. While St. Brown did not reach the end zone as a rookie, he did show signs of blossoming into a reliable third receiver in 2019. The Packers have to feel good about their first-year receiving corps despite some growing pains. St. Brown may be the best of them.Lucas PatrickRight guard will be an area the Packers look to upgrade this spring, but Patrick cemented his spot as a dependable interior depth player down the stretch. Starting the final four games of the season in the midst of injuries all along the offensive line, Patrick may not be long-term starter material, but he has a role on this team.Praised for his toughness and team-oriented nature Aaron Rodgers Jersey , Patrick’s ability to back up the guard and center positions gives the Packers versatility on the line. The former tryout player has had a good run in Green Bay and really stepped up in the absence of fifth-rounder Cole Madison in 2018. Patrick’s play was as good or equal to what was seen from Justin McCray and Byron Bell earlier in the year and should be back in 2019 despite an expiring contract. GREEN BAY, Wis. (AP) — New Packers coach Matt LaFleur had a long to-do list even before his players arrived for the start of offseason workouts this week. The drama that started in Green Bay with the December firing of coach Mike McCarthy has bubbled into the spring, with McCarthy ripping the front office for how it handled his dismissal, and star quarterback Aaron Rodgers defending himself after coming under fire over his performance and leadership.Enveloped by controversies that predated his arrival in January, LaFleur faces the challenge of turning around a franchise that reached the playoffs eight consecutive seasons — including one Super Bowl victory and two more appearances in conference championship games — before having back-to-back losing seasons for the first time since the early 1990s.It’s going to take more than a fresh coat of paint down the hallway that leads from the locker room to the field and reassigned seats in the team meeting room to get the Packers back into championship contention.“We had a standard here of going to the playoffs every single year,” Rodgers said Wednesday. “We did that eight years in a row and we were competitive and in the mix, and then the last couple of years, obviously, have been frustrating to finish.“I think we’re in a good spot. I think there isn’t a grace period. This isn’t like other transitions where you maybe give a pass for the first year or two as you get acclimated to the system. We have a veteran quarterback, veteran offensive linemen, we signed some big free agents. There’s an expectation living and playing here that you’re going to compete for championships, and I think we all expect to do that.”Rodgers and LaFleur will be at the center of reaching those expectations. Rodgers, 35 Clay Matthews Jersey , played through a serious knee injury to start all 16 games last season, but endured one of his worst years of his career. LaFleur, 39, will be tasked with getting Rodgers back to his two-time MVP form and changing the culture of a team that had hit hard times during the final two seasons of McCarthy’s 13-year tenure. After running McCarthy’s offense throughout his first 11 seasons as starting quarterback, Rodgers is getting his first taste of what LaFleur wants to do. At the scouting combine in February, LaFleur said offensive success required a “partnership” between himself and Rodgers.“Matt’s whole idea,” said Rodgers’ No. 1 target, receiver Davante Adams, “he’s really open and receptive to how Aaron and I want to attack this season and how we feel moving forward, bringing certain things from the past that we liked, and just having an open mind, which is a great thing when you’re coming in trying to get a team to buy in.”A new coach and new playbook aren’t the only big changes. Two longtime stalwarts, receiver Randall Cobb and linebacker Clay Matthews Mike Daniels Jersey , departed in free agency. Meanwhile, they added outside linebackers Za’Darius Smith and Preston Smith, safety Adrian Amos and offensive lineman Billy Turner in free agency. A pair of first-round picks will infuse more talent.“Change, it can be really good if you embrace it,” Rodgers said.Echoing what LaFleur has said, Rodgers added the play caller/quarterback relationship will be critical to reversing the team’s fortunes. Rodgers talked to one of LaFleur’s former pupils, a Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan, to get a gauge on his new boss.Impressed by what he heard, and with his injured knee healed, Rodgers was eager to get to Green Bay to start fostering that relationship and to shake off the sting of last season’s 6-9-1 debacle.“Having that much time off was different,” said Rodgers, who had grown accustomed to playing into January.“I know many of us were itching to get back here and get started. Anytime you’ve gone through a stretch like we went through where everything was very similar — similar faces, there might be some changes Jaire Alexander Jersey , similar plays, similar environment you’re working in — you get used to that and accustomed that.“When things change, it kind of jogs the system a little bit. It’s exciting, though, to see the energy and the excitement. It’s usually like this the first week, but I feel good about the potential to sustain this type of energy as we move into it later this month and get into the minicamp. And then obviously we have a number of high picks, so there should be a lot of excitement with our fan base. There is definitely in the locker room. It’s been a good start to the change.”

Buffalo Bills 0 Infant Vosean Joseph Jersey , Baltimore Ravens 26: Second half open thread The Buffalo Bills couldn’t have put up a worse first half if they’d tried. They Charlie Browned their way to a 26-0 deficit in the first half of their season opener at Baltimore. The team went three-and-out on every single one of their first seven first-half possessions, ended the eighth without one as the half ended, had 7 penalties accepted for 71 yards, and couldn’t even manage to come away with a muffed punt when they had three Bills and no Ravens in the vicinity. At this point, the biggest question might be if Nate Peterman gets a second-half hook for the second season in a row, this time in favor of rookie Josh Allen. Peterman’s had an atrocious 4-of-13 start with a gimme interception to the Ravens. The only bright spots so far have included rookie punter Cody Bojorquez Ed Oliver Jersey , linebacker Matt Milano, and rookie linebacker Tremaine Edmunds, who has a sack and forced a fumble already (the Bills recovered that fumble, then turned first-and-five within the 35 yard line into a missed field goal).Still watching the game? You can talk about it in the comments below. Since Sean McDermott and Brandon Beane arrived in Buffalo they have made massive changes to the Buffalo Bills’ roster. They’ll continue to do that this off-season as they look to get back to the playoffs. One way of adjusting the roster is via free agency. Beane had his first full off-season to really go after free agents this past year. Let’s see how those additions fared.Below ExpectationsStar LotuleleiTrent MurphyVontae DavisAJ McCarronJeremy KerleyKaelin ClayMarshall NewhouseIt’s a bit unfair to lump Star and Trent Murphy in with a handful of guys that are no longer on the Bills roster (including one that walked out on his team in the middle of a game), but like those guys, they both had disappointing seasons. They were not complete busts Color Rush Vosean Joseph Jersey , but they did not live up to the money the Bills paid them. The team made Star the 13th-highest-paid defensive tackle in the league, but Pro Football Focus has him as the 103rd-best defensive interior player this season. The story is very similar with Murphy. He is the 37th-highest-paid defensive end and the 89th-ranked edge defender. The cap hits for these two make their performances disappointing. The rest of this group contributed about as much to the Bills’ season as I did. They combined for two total starts, one tackle, and two receptions for seven yards. Vontae Davis infamously quit and retired at halftime, AJ McCarron lost the quarterback competition and then was traded to the Oakland Raiders for a fifth-round pick, Jeremy Kerley was waived after Week 1 Youth Vosean Joseph Jersey , Kaelin Clay was waived before the season began, and Marshall Newhouse was traded for a conditional seventh-round pick in 2021 after Week 3. Jon Gruden might be crazy, but I don’t think even he would give a fifth-round pick for my rights, so maybe these guys did contribute more to the Bills than me.Met ExpectationsChris IvoryPhillip GainesRafael BushOwamagbe OdighizuwaJulian StanfordTerrence FedeTenny PalepoiThe bar for most of these players to meet expectations was pretty low as a lot of them were projected as second- and third-team guys. The two that stand out are Chris Ivory and Phillip Gaines. Ivory performed admirably as a backup running back, sometimes even looking like a better fit for the offense than LeSean McCoy. Gaines was brought in to compete for the nickel corner back position, but he actually ended competing and winning the CB2 job over Vontae Davis. He didn’t last too long there as he was released after Week 9 while leading the league in penalty yardage.Exceeded ExpectationsRussell BodineAfter Eric Wood’s abrupt retirement Womens Vosean Joseph Jersey , it was expected that Ryan Groy would take over as the starting center. That’s indeed what happened and Groy started the first two weeks of the season. After two bad performances from Groy, the Bills switched it up and went with Bodine. He would remain the starter until he was injured in Week 13 and placed on injured reserve. Pro Football Focus graded him as the 19th-best center this season.Brandon Beane and Co. have nine times more cap room this off-season as compared to the last year at this time. Hopefully all that extra dough will yield much better results on the field in 2019 and beyond.

New York Giants Jersey 2019 ,

While there is a chance Drew Brees and Eli Manning will get involved in one of those 30-plus shootouts when the New Orleans Saints face the New York Giants this weekend New York Giants Jersey 2019 , it’s more likely a defense is going to determine the winner. The 39-year-old Brees and the Saints (2-1) are coming into MetLife Stadium on Sunday averaging more than 34 points. That’s more than troublesome for the Giants (1-2) and the 37-year-old Manning. New York has not scored 30 points since the final game of Tom Coughlin’s coaching tenure in 2015.If the Saints run true to form, the Giants are in trouble. That puts a burden on defensive coordinator James Bettcher. The good news is New York has not given up more than 22 points in a game with its new 3-4 defense.Bettcher isn’t looking for Manning and the offense to bail him out.“The only thing we worry about on the defensive side of the ball is getting stops,” Bettcher said. “We got to get some three-and-outs, we got to create some turnovers. Doesn’t matter where the ball’s put down on the field, doesn’t matter what the score is in the game, whether you’re up three or down three, in my mind it doesn’t matter, we play.”The Giants have done a good job of stopping the run, but their secondary struggled last week with cornerback Eli Apple sidelined with a hamstring injury. He is iffy this week.Brees has been phenomenal this season Red Dexter Lawrence Jersey , hitting 80 percent of his passes.“He’s confident in what we’re doing and understanding each week, it’s just trying to put ourselves in a position to win,” Saints coach Sean Payton said. “I really think statistically, the other stuff is just icing on the cake. He really looks at it like, how do I advance my team into the end zone? How do we win the game, reduce turnovers and do all the things necessary to win that week?”The last time the Giants played the Saints, New York won 16-13 at home. In the previous game, New Orleans posted a 52-49 win at home in a game Brees threw for 505 yards and seven TDs, and Manning threw for 350 yards and six TDs.“Obviously you could always do more Cheap Dexter Lawrence Jersey , but yeah felt like we had played a great game and lost, and that’s what a lot of teams would’ve felt against the Saints,” Manning said in recalling the game. “They got the ability to score a lot of points.”Things to watch in the game:RECORD CHASEBrees is closing in on one of the more significant career records for an NFL quarterback: the 71,940 yards passing by Eli’s older brother, Peyton Manning. He needs 417 yards and has passed for more than that in a game 13 times in his career, including his 439 yards in this season’s opener against the Bucs. Just don’t expect Brees to discuss setting the record before it happens. “Nope. One at a time. One at a time,” Brees said this week. “That stuff takes care of itself.”WHEELING AND DEALINGChad Wheeler replaced Ereck Flowers at right tackle for the Giants last weekend and his run blocking was good. His pass blocking wasn’t. He allowed J.J. Watt to get three sacks by almost whiffing on blocks. Giants coach Pat Shurmur took the blame, saying he should have given Wheeler help. This week will be tough with the Saints having Cameron Jordan (four sacks) at left end.ACTIVE ALVINWith running back Mark Ingram serving a four-game suspension for use of a banned substance, New Orleans has leaned heavily on Alvin Kamara 2019 Dexter Lawrence Jersey , the 2017 Offensive Rookie of the Year. Last week in Atlanta, he carried 16 times for 66 yards and caught 15 passes for 124. Through three games, Kamara has 37 carries for 141 yards and two TDs, and 30 receptions for 289 yards and one touchdown.TIGHT SPOTThe Giants will be without top tight end Evan Engram with a sprained knee. He was hurt last weekend and probably is going to miss a couple of weeks. Veteran Rhett Ellison must pick up the load, backed by Scott Simonson and rookie Garrett Dickerson, who was just signed off the practice squad. None of the three can stretch the field like Engram, who has 10 catches for 104 yards and a touchdown. Ellison had three catches for 39 yards last week, including a 16-yard TD.COVERAGE CONCERNSThe Saints are trying to straighten out their secondary. New Orleans ranks 30th against the pass, allowing 336.7 yards passing per game. Cornerback Marshon Lattimore Dexter Lawrence NFL Draft , the 2017 Defensive Rookie of the Year, has avoided giving up big plays since Tampa Bay‘s Mike Evans caught seven passes for 147 yards in the opener. But cornerbacks Ken Crawley and P.J. Williams, as well as New Orleans’ safeties, struggled last weekend against Atlanta’s Calvin Ridley, who caught seven passes for 146 yards and three scores. The Saints lost top nickel cornerback Patrick Robinson for the season last weekend with an ankle injury. Giants rookie cornerback Corey Ballentine has recovered enough to resume practicing. But officials in Kansas are still investigating the shooting that injured him and killed one of his teammates, and a reward has been offered for more information in the case.According to Ryan Dunleavy of NJ.com, a Washburn University supporter has offered a $5,000 reward for anyone who provides information that leads to an arrest. Shawnee County Crime Stoppers also offered a $2,000 reward.Ballentine Color Rush Deandre Baker Jersey , the Giants sixth-round pick, was shot in the rear. His college teammate and best friend Dwane Simmons was killed in the draft-night incident.According to 13News.com, Topeka Police said it does not appear Simmons and Ballentine were targeted, after interviews with dozens of witnesses and reviewed surveillance footage. Topeka Police chief Bill Cochran said they still have some good leads, but wasn’t prepared to give a timetable on any potential arrests.
