So essentially Jagex is hoping to OSRS gold draw something up complex by scratch, and some gamers may (rightfully) dread it ends up being a mechanic which strangles OSRS much like the end of free commerce, the jungle, as well as early-era EoC did for RS2.5/RS3. That is about as far as I'm willing to outline, the news site of Jagex was kinda and made it as normal. Some individuals are so riled up they're probably willing to stop /"quit" OSRS and give RS3 a shot.
I find that a lot of folks kindly dismiss/dislike RS3. Of course, there are lots of people who dislike it for reasons that are legitimate. Personally, though, I believe it's likely to live with the MTX if ya don't invest a dime on them (simply getting some free stuff each day is kinda nice), and the new battle mechanics are pretty fun (at least for PvE; I do not really do PvP, which is where the changes hit the fanbase the toughest from what I can tell). But I could see why folks are put off. At least if nothing else.
Yes this is actually the harash fact, I determined which to play in 2016 rs3 or osrs but the huge amount of"rs3 sucks dying worse, osrs greater" blinded me, so I played osrs since 2016 till 3 days past, tried to play with rs3 and after I played it,
I prefered it so much more, I prefer pvm compared to pvp so eoc was a fantastic accession for me personally and pvm high end bosses (viewed it) feels more tougher and have better mechanics and around mtx yes I was also pushed off by it when I tried it, you can easily ignore them and hiscores doesn't matter cause can you buy old school gp for real money match is too old anyway and ironman exists. I am enjoying and will not ever spend penny on mtx since it doesn't provide me any useful thing ( I mean guaranteed )
