I agree, which is why I'm concerned the wellbeing of Phantasy Star Online 2 in launch will be very poor, since it's a timed Xbox One exclusive. Till we receive a PC release, it could be many months following Xbox release. Hopefully the PC launch can revitalize Phantasy Star Online 2 to keep it alive, assuming the Xbox release is as dead as I envision it being. Perhaps I'm being too pessimistic and PSO2 Meseta for sale do not know Xbox userbase enough, however I really don't see Phantasy Star Online 2 having multiple thousand users months after launch, on US Xbox.
If you're itching to play with with it, there is not any reason not to go play with with it now and get the fan translations. You will get banned for logging in from so you do not need a VPN, somewhere that is not Japan. The translation covers most up everything to chapter 4 so you dont need to know any Japanese. Phantasy Star Online 2 is in a fantastic spot at the moment and it is fun although it is not at all like the original PSO (thats a good thing for the most part). It's absolutely free, so you have nothing. Dont get overly invested because you won't have the ability to transfer advancement to the NA version.
Some things need 12+ individuals to conquer, but an extremely large chunk (maybe the majority) can be played solo. I played Phantasy Star Online 2 with another person and there was always something fresh to do. Grantedwe only ever played on Super Hard, and not the Ultra Hard manner (all quests have difficulty alternatives, so technically in the event you would like to solo stuff you could play everything on simple lol). As for grind, I really don't understand the launch is at this time, but PSO2 is kinda in the Sunset stage. A couple more years of service likely. As such, they are fostering the hell out of gamers, passing out millions of EXP and Meseta (cash ). Near all equipment can be bought for in game cash, or you may complete missions for certificates that give high end equipment to you.
You will automatically be buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta matched using randoms (unless you created a password protected multiparty), so while some quests will require 4-12 people, you do not need to really offer those 4-12 players. That being said, if you're not joining a group you are doing it wrong, and will be punished for it since there are.
