Recolours are available via different methods. Then there are all the drake mounts from WotLK and Cata which are just recolours of WOW Classic TBC Gold rare spawn drops/reputation/achievement rewards.

There are other raid mounts which I didn't mention, such as Glacial Tidestorm from mythic Jaina and is a reskin of the shaman class mount or Ny'alotha Allseer from mythical N'Zoth which is just an old jellyfish-like mount that has been reskinned.

It's up to you what you mean by "reskin". The mythic mount of N'Zoth is simply the mount for jellyfish, Jaina mythic is the mount of the shaman class, Gul'dan's mythic Mount is grumpus mount (I think it is at least) Shackled Ur'zul, from mythical Argus is (I consider) the skeletal gryphon mount that DKs are given.

Archimonde’s Felsteel Anihilator may be the only mythic mount I can remember as being "original at that time". The Sylvanas mythic mount is also a new type.

Recolours usually refer to swap of texture. I'm not sure what the definition actually means. It is certainly easier to alter the colors than any other you can imagine, all you have to do is to make use of a slider change the color and then call it a day.

It's disconcerting to see so many armours just being recoloured. You could simply put an intern on it and they'd be okay. In fact, recolors should at buy TBC Classic Gold all times be an option for players to access too..
