If I recommend osrs to a buddy

That is a valid point, but I don't agree that it makes buy RS gold a game. It is very normal that it is difficult for a new player to perform together with a seasoned player in any sport, even more so for mmorpgs. Gaming isn't effective in the awareness of productivity. Would you recommend Fortnite, Fifa or CoD? It takes houndreds of hours to master Rocket League's facet, does this make it a bad match? It requires houndreds of hours to learn soccer to the point where you can play games with others in a level that is nice.

Does that make football a game? (Yes, there are health benefits to football, but that is besides the point). My point is that the issues aren't unique to osrs. Does this make it even more challenging to recruit new players by buddies? Yes. Why is the player base still growing? Because osrs is not a match. It only suffers that it shares with most other mmorpgs. I'd reccomend any of those games. You dont have to become a master. Of course you can get carried away in those cases with contest, but you could play at any time anyone of any ability level. Making it more relaxing and friendly.

If I recommend osrs to a buddy, there's virtually 0 content which we are able to do with each other till they have put a hefty number of hours grinding solo. Quests, diaries and let's say foundation 70s. This is not an easy task for someone. That's why I say its objectively bad. It's a mmo that is played. Unless you dump hours to 16, There's no casual coop or group activities. While I really like RuneScape game and play with it. It is and always will be awful in my opinion for these reasons.

There is loads of material you can perform but it can't be at an end match level. That's true for any mmorpg out there. Is WoW a bad game because I can not do end game content as a new player? The time doesn't make it bad. That's an illogical conclusion. It's not a game you can jump into as a casual participant. But neither is DOTA or Hearts of Iron. Are those bad games? Is Hearthstone a terrible game since you need to invest plenty of houndreds or money, or even thousands, of hours to play the cards? Is MTG a terrible game?

RuneScape game does not lend itself to meaningful connections between new players that are casual and also end game players, but that doesn't make RuneScape game awful. All mmorpgs that are infinite are similar to that. It can still be an objectively good game even though it's not ideal for your needs. Dota has a style that is casual. Any mmo I have seen has improved interaction than rs. Wow you can begin and alt with a buddy to level and you can be in a party to assist kill, quest and skill. Can dungeons. Also all the mmos over tried, being wow/ffonline, and eso, the max level unlocks essentially everything. Max degree that is grinding is the one and runescape 3 gold only real entry point for end game content.
