I've was always adamant

On the defensive side, the biggest advancement is that of NBA 2K22 MT a revamped shot blocking system. I've was always adamant that blocking in earlier NBA 2K titles felt lifeless and ultimately vulnerable to the chance. Due to improved animations as well as the smoother flow and physicality, blocks feel precise and powerful and provide much-needed strength to the game's legendary centers that, I think, have never been truly represented as a threat prior to this.

Play with Wilt Chamberlain's Lakers or Bill Russell's Celtics and you'll be able to see what I'm talking about. This added sense of accuracy and realistic also applies to mid-air fights, because players under the ring feel more organic in motion.

Highlight reels from previous games were frequently tarnished or completely destroyed by glitchy animations which left my large men appearing like frozen robots in thin air. In NBA 2K22, players reach, swat and protect in a manner that simply feels more organic and thus more efficient in the majority of defensive plays and situations.

NBA 2K22's modes are largely unchanged from the previous year's, which isn't such good thing since many of those modes were new to the next-generation NBA 2K21 versions. Alongside MyCareer, MyTeam and MyNBA modes, the W comes back with an entirely new career mode built on the WNBA.

With regards to the old MyCareer, players will be glad to learn they can now play both MyCareer and MyPark/Neighbourhood mode have been amalgamated into one MyCareer mode that includes an expanded version of safe NBA 2K22 MT buying the last year's City. While The City is essentially a larger and more detailed Neighbourhood it is packed with activities and places to do.
