Players can use Spawn points to begin their play in a certain area of Buy 2K MT the City. The capability to unlock them will begin when the side quest Unlock Spawn Point becomes available. There are a total of seven spawn points available for players to choose from.

The spawn points are unlocked in the same moment the quest is completed. Players must run a set distance through the City in order to finish the quest. The spawn location can be done via the City map by selecting the desired spawn area and confirming it.

This Unlock Spawn Points side quest can be obtained through ATM the NPC in the city, and requires users to travel 26.2 miles. The run must be completed by foot, and using the BMX, skateboard, and rollerblades will not count towards the total distance completed. Also, the participant must be running not walking. When tracking the quest, it will display an indicator for progress on left-hand part of the monitor, so players can constantly see how far they've ran.

The total distance is recorded in time and doesn't require to be completed all at one time. It is important to note that running in the middle of nowhere won't count, and so continuous running isn't a good idea if there's an obstacle in the character's path. After players have completed 26.2 miles and have completed their quests, each the spawn points will be unlocked. A spawn point is set on the map to one of seven locations.

The spawn point can be set to change where the character starts at each time they return to City. This is useful should there be a certain part of the city that players need to come back to. Completing the Unlock Spawn Points quest will also award players with 1,000 MVP points. Earning these points eventually lead to NBA 2K22 MT buying sites unlocking the penthouse by completing an MVP quest. NBA 2K22 provides a range of features and opportunities in the City to the next-generation players.
