Give it a hiscores webpage and lets see who dumps the maximum GP out of RuneScape gold. But knowing how boss kc got the entire thing fucked I'm not sure whether it can take care of this. Adding 1 category would have no impact, I presume. It had no impact and that has been 5 classes that are new, when clues were added. And they may have a minimal amount donated to appear like hiscores. Something like 1 mil gp will most likely be fine.

It'd be nice if jagex really used it though. Even if just once or twice annually. They did do leveling for charity which is fine, but this is a good way to bolster the economy while making a real world impact. Although it in RuneScape, but has been removed following the event, there's no reason it could not be added. Even though I am misremembering it is not just a complicated upgrade, adding high scores and these would be a bit more work I guess. But this would be something that's absolutely worth the time invested either way there's absolutely no downside to removing some gold out of RuneScape.

We are already seeing pretty considerable inflation and gold getting less precious, plus the nuking of basically any equipment up to dragon sitting in alch prices thanks to their own overabundance on drop tables. This is 1 regard where RS3 warrants some serious credit, the debut of the intention skill made hint hunting plus a bunch of other things viable again overnight, and gave players a method to eliminate items from RuneScape whilst nevertheless being rewarded for it. It was likely one of the best turnarounds for the economy in gaming history, and it is loved by folks.

We need real thing sinks with the loss of their ability to shed items. Even the death mechanics that are original are not a great item/gold sink. This is something jagex really must think about for osrs and put actual time into making real and workable sinks instead of just charging for dying or using artificial and meaningless sinks such as 100m to get a home decoration, or a 250m decorative crown that literally nobody cares about. Complete support, get on it jagex.

Didn't they need to cancel the well of goodwill because of world trading item? I can't recall why but there was a reason it never came backagain. Help me out reddit. It added the monetization model of Jagex and lots of regulatory consequences. By donating money based on how far gp was thrown into the well it officially implied GP has real world value. When you run a gaming service such as RS3 mtx you can't hide from it being labeled as gambling when your in RuneScape game money legally has actual life value.

The way gambling laws are composed it's technically not gambling until you can take out your"winnings" into real money. Since bonds and treasure hunter are just one way trades (you pay real money for an item ingame) they technically aren't gaming. The problem is if jagex ties a real world dollar amount to the cash in reverse. If say for every 1M at the well $1 comes from jagex to cheap OSRS gold a charity there would be an argument that you could make that because jagex would be supporting the transference of ingame riches into a real-world value they are adding a way to"cash out" and could no longer be technically not gambling.
