How is the battle on pso2?

Im a massive fan of meseta pso2 bns combat system aswell as bdo, and rn im kinda stuck on bdo because its one of those few games that I really enjoy playing however, I was looking for something new and was wondering just how the combat here compared to bdo or bns, and how is the pvp part of PSO2? The combat is more like Monster Hunter in terms of movement. It is not quite as eloquent as bdo or even bns. The only type that has a pretty fluid collection by the standards of something like monster hunter is bouncer. You can try this, but don't anticipate the motion like Korean matches from a 8 year-old Japanese game.

IMO the movement from pso2 feels a lot better afterward monster hunter. Motion in monster hunter feels somewhat sluggish, you can't do a complete turn when you rotate the control rod as if you can in PSO2, attacks feel slower, and you can't jump unless you play insect glave, that will be my best weapon type. Mostly speaking from my experience playing MHU4 and planet. I enjoy monster hunter but every time I pick it up I put it. I really almost didn't play pso2 since I discovered it was a lot like monster hunter but today after starting pso2 I am finding it hard to stop playing with it, it is only really fun game which, feels just like monster hunter with the way questing works, but gameplay wise feels much smoother then monster hunter.

On a different note, never heard of bns but if the controllers are even smoother afterward pso2 then I'll have to check that out. I would say PSO2 combat is quicker but it's not exactly better than MH especially MHW. Combat does not become shit only beacuse it is"slower" and does not have jump. MHW actually has fluid movement and it's not slow in any way, the battle is concentrated with timing(it combines well for a somewhat slower gameplay) and placement (which is the reason why hard locking in that game is really shit) while still PSO2 is a faster version of this (and not exactly smoother. MH gameplay is smooth but not faster). My experience differs with you, I can't get serious with PSO2play runs here than in MH because hardlocking is not actually detrimental for most of the content.

PVP isnt available for NA however, the combat is amazing and incredibly addicting and what got me hooked from the first place. The down side for me is that after I slid out a class to level 75, there wasnt much else to do because you may breeze thru the material once you have semi-decent gear and (in my opinion) not really worth doing since you may make much more money in PSO2 outside of combat. Drops are rare and not worth very much. As a combat-based game, it is fun, easy, & casual but you will never find a challenge. However, the RPG aspect is about as unlimited as it can be with plenty of customization options for room and your character. I would definitely give it a shot, it's free of charge.

I used to play with BnS a Good Deal. I don't believe any mmo has battle as great as BnS imo so while PSO2's battle is great, it pales in comparison. That being said, I very much enjoy PSO2's. It. You have infinite dodges (maybe not iframe. only your dodges have no cd) and several courses have a moment cd buff that fosters their harm by a lot briefly. There are no"raids" like you might be used to and there is no content so hard you have to drive yourself to constantly chase the BiS equipment. Speaking of buy Phantasy Star Online 2 Meseta gear, it's more customizable (though ofc there are meta or BiS builds).
