The title update that "broke" parts of the game was released on September 10. but a lot of players are still reporting issues with the franchise mode regarding its autosaves Mut 23 Coins, the online franchise features, and being forced to redo progress weeks later. Game statistics, scoreboards, and player upgrades are reportedly not saving correctly for all players.
There also appears to be an issue with the game randomly kicking players out of online modes for "inactivity," despite actively playing the game. Unfortunately, no timeline has been reported by the developers on a fix for all of these reported issues. With EA Tiburon located in Florida and with the recent impact of Hurricane Ian, work on Madden NFL 23 could be delayed.
According to the thread on Twitter posted by user @CrossfireLG, there are a lot of issues with the game even now - though some players are also reporting the game and the franchise mode are working fine for them. The bugs and glitches with the game do not appear to be universal, but it seems to be affecting a large amount of the player base. There have even been professional football players criticizing Madden NFL 23.
While some feel the game is a step in the right direction for the franchise, others are criticizing the series as a whole for removing features to then put them back in with subsequent entries in the series Cheap Madden nfl 23 Coins. Either way, Madden NFL 23 has sold quite well, so hopefully a fix for the major bugs - especially those in the franchise mode - will be coming soon.
