I think it's only the cover art which is awesome. Same happened for me personally. I didn't receive any of those extra though. I wouldn't pay extra for"next gen" that alone would cancel stadia completely for me personally it runs on basically a PC system so its quite already"next gen". I meant along with this current gen game. Like an update cost or something. Like they are doing with all the mamba variant consoles. Should be liberated honestly stadia and PC imo I am not hungry to give up my money for something which doesn't cost them much extra if at all in most instances a pc could easily handle it as a patch to the first game or like a dlc game pass but I am somewhat greedy and I will be fair I miss the days when expansion packs were over two maps and a skin I see your point and I am not trying to invalidate it since most will agree with you over me I'm just saying I am not trying to give them money for something which PC games traditionally never had to perform and hardware realistically is not needed I get that it's marked more console compared to PC but we ought to actually hold them to PC match criteria instead of console's essentially upgrade happy likeness please don't take this harshly I'm bad with words and just like I said the majority would likely take your negative over mine with this.

I do hope some stadia games receive free updates like some games do, but 2k is supposedly going to be another game, so that I know them not performing a free update for nba 2k21. I had been shocked to see just how much of that translated into games now when I got to stadia. 2k is just as awful as ea is with Madden because of the exclusively they have with the permit. But I'm optimistic next gen nba 2k is going to be worth the $10 price hike.
