New Horizons at least tried to make it feel just like the characters were farther apart than in New Leaf with two quite different ones in the very beginning of the match, but after a while the elimination of hobbies only means neither game has much for the villagers to discuss. I believe I would be ready to give up a couple content updates if the trade off was dialogue at least on par with the original, though rather Wild World.

Agreed! There is definitely a nostalgia factor, but I can not help but feel that ACNH remains kind of vacant. I keep running out of things to do whenever there is not a special event going on. At least whenever there weren't any events to perform in ACNL, I could go to Tortimer's island!

Absolutely agreed. I can't get the absolute most from my sport since it is locked away behind those damn balloons.

Honestly, I'm fine with all the balloons even for Animal Crossing Items For Sale seasonal DIYs. However it should not be the only method to get them. They could only do something easy, like when you grab a maple leaf you'd have a 1/10 chance of your character moving"wait, that's not a leaf it's a DIY" or anything like this.
