Predict the 49ers’ first offensive play Youth Dustin Hopkins Jersey , tackle, and touchdown vs. Chiefs The 49ers had an ugly win against the Detroit Lions with much to work on in preparation for the Kansas City Chiefs. The Chiefs on the other hand are red-hot with offensive playmakers that could make for a long day. With that in mind, it’s time to do predictions for today. The predictions will include:1. The first offensive play the 49ers will run/attempt to execute,2. The first player on defense (not special teams) who will make a tackle, and3. How the team’s first touchdown will be scored (if you think one will be scored). Here are the ground rules for the predictions.Offensive Play Prediction Guidelines: Try to be as specific as you can on what you think the 49ers’ first offensive play will be. Don’t just say “pass play” or “run play”. Instead, say “Garoppolo throws a slant route to Gar莽on for 7 yards” or “Alfred Morris runs right side and picks up three yards.” You can also predict incompletions, interceptions, fumbles, touchdowns, and even a safety if you really think that will happen on the first offensive play!Defensive Tackle Prediction Guidelines: Predicting the first defensive play is much more obscure, so this one is a simpler category -- project who you think will make the team’s first tackle that does not come on special teams or a returned interception/fumble.First Touchdown Against Detroit: If you do not think the 49ers will score a touchdown, then say “no touchdowns” as your answer. Otherwise, predict how you think the 49ers’ first offensive touchdown will be scored, along with the person(s) who will score. You can predict it to be on offense, defense, or special teams. If you predict a passing touchdown, name both the quarterback and the receiver. Here is the template you can copy+paste for your comments:First Offensive Play: First Defensive Tackle: First Touchdown:Here are my predictions.First Offensive Play: Slant catch by Dante Pettis for 15 yardsFirst Defensive Tackle: Reuben Foster of Travis KelceFirst Touchdown: Pierre Garcon Authentic George Kittle Jersey , 15-yard catch in the corner of the endzone with Garoppolo in the pocketRichard Sherman removed from injury report, Marquise Goodwin, Jaquiski Tartt listed as questionable The San Francisco 49ers released their final injury report of Week 3, and there is a mix of good and bad news. The good news is that cornerbacks Richard Sherman and Ahkello Witherspoon are good to go after full participation on Friday. The bad news is that wide receiver Marquise Goodwin and safety Jaquiski Tartt were both limited on Friday and are listed as questionable — true game-time decisions, according to Kyle Shanahan. Offensive guard Joshua Garnett has been ruled out for the game.Sherman got the Thursday rest in part just to play it safe. Witherspoon was dealing with an ankle injury that Shanahan later said probably should have resulted in an inactive status for him. Given that he went through a full practice on Friday, fingers crossed the ankle holds up against a speedy Chiefs receiver corps.Goodwin’s absence would hurt, but the 49ers are comfortable with Dante Pettis continuing in his expanded role. If Tartt misses Sunday’s game, the 49ers will be particularly short-handed at safety, with questions as to who would replace him next to Adrian Colbert. Antone Exum gets backup work, Jimmie Ward can play the position, and Robert Saleh said Tyvis Powell and D.J. Reed are also getting work there. This will be a big one to watch. On the other side of the ball, the Kansas City Chiefs are expected to be missing Eric Berry once again. Berry has been dealing with a heel injury since the preseason, and is a huge absence for this defense. It’s a big reason the Chiefs defense has been so atrocious. He’s listed as doubtful, and is highly unlikely to play.49ers injury reportOut: G Joshua Garnett (toe)Questionable: WR Marquise Goodwin (quadricep), S Jaquiski Tartt (shoulder)Chiefs injury reportDoubtful: S Eric Berry (heel), LB Ben Niemann (hamstring)Questionable: RB Spencer Ware (knee)
