An answer and affirmative defenses was filed Oct. 15 by attorneys representing defendants Jacksonville Landing Investments LLC, owner with the Madden Overdrive Coins Landing; Property Management Support Inc., manager on the mall; and Sleiman Enterprises Inc.

The document asks a legal court to strike much from the plaintiff’s complaint around the grounds it is “immaterial, impertinent and scandalous.”

The motion asks the legal court to remove the portions in the complaint referring towards the alleged liability of Electronic Arts for the Madden NFL Overdrive Coins reason that Sleiman defendants are “without knowledge as for the allegations.”The motion further states that towards the extent any with the allegations pertain on the Sleiman defendants, the allegations are denied.
