Air Max 270,Parra knows how to deliver stunning designs with his mind for both streetwear and sneaker culture, but it's been a while since the last Nike SB x Parra release. The latest shoe's upper has the classic Parra style, with bright, colourful artwork. The base of the sneaker is dark mocha brown suede. Instead of the model's standard colour blocking, the signature colourful artwork is applied only to the overlays of the right shoe. On the left silhouette, a white leather overlay can be seen. Here, instead of on the overlay, the pronounced and abstract motifs are on the centre panel and collar. This gives rise to a varied style that perfectly suits the designer's style. A blue lining and white rubber sole complete the design.
The Parra x Nike SB Dunk Low is another special collaboration between the Dutch artist and the Swoosh, following their exclusive 2005 “Amsterdam” Air Max 1. This take on the classic skateboarding model flaunts a clean white leather construction which is accentuated by Parra’s signature multicolored artwork gracing the lining and tongue tag. Finishing touches include “SB” and “Parra” branding embroidered on the heel tabs, co-branded-insoles and quadruple-layered chenille Swooshes on the side panels that reflect the colors of Parra’s artwork.Special branding in Parra’s usual font is showcased on each heel tab. The highlight is the pink, red, and blue triple-layered Swoosh stitched on each side panel.
Unlike its predecessors which more so leaned on neutral and/or earthy tones to decorate its upper, this adidas Yeezy 500 High takes a bold departure and opts for a more vivid presentation. Puffed up Neoprene uppers peek out with their royal blue complexions and come balanced out with suede overlays and mudguards that are flooded with its titular shading. Elsewhere on the base, the laces, throat and interior liners complement with brighter beige pigmentation. Another detail to point out here is that the lacing system has been switched back to the toggle pull system just like its “Tyrian” sibling.Faded blue makes way across the leather overlays, while suede is seen along the toe. White laces round out the unique design.
