You can download the first game for free if you only have this app to go by, instead of buying the cards and any subsequent expansions. They're pretty good and we haven't been disappointed with any that we've bought, but I do like the app to look over now and again and get a fresh take on things. When I'm on my own, I'll also flip through it for a couple of minutes in a nostalgia sort of way. Black Cards! is a decent app for what it says it does. Is there room for improvement? Of course. And they want some decent ratings or they wouldn't be giving out a card pack for reviews. That being said, it's a free app that's for entertainment purposes and it does what it says it will. Get some laughs out of it; share it with your friends; use it with the game or use it as motivation to try to physical card game.
