In terms of the ping, yes it absolutely matters but the aion classic kinah buying remark about requiring sub 20ms to perform melee is way overblown. I played everywhere from 60-80ms and had no issues dueling both skilled players with 20-30ms. Yes you can at times get the"you're too far off" message despite being alongside a target but I attribute that to imperceptible terrain obstacles on certain maps rather than a constant issue.

However, the trade-off is well worthwhile in my opinion - which being fast paced battle that flows nicely with a high ability ceiling.

I was gonna say that he is probably not chasing properly, or didn't have an extendable weapon. The game never gave me too much issues with not being in range, unless it had been intended when I was fighting with a ranged char with CC.

In Terms of the ping, I am concerned. I am getting 90 ping or so because I live on the west coast. I wish they had an east coast and west coast host. This isn't Korea. NA is enormous, and we do not have the connection latency KR has.

Additionally slideshotting and jumpshotting barely requires skilll, literally 80 percent of rangers that may do which are literal clickers. In fact, over 50% of aion pvp videos are people literally clicking on their abilities, I'm sure that shows how hard the pvp is.

I'd love to see exactly what you end up finding. Additionally yes there are plenty of aion pvp videos in which the player is clicking his skills but are they GOOD? The vast majority of the playerbase lacks ability so of course the majority of the videos have been listed by those same players.

Jumpshotting is easy... however slideshotting has an insane skill gap... there is fundamental slideshots using aa infront and there are buffs slideshots // scroll slideshots // double tap Slide shots // slideshots with cheap aion classic kinah different skills // Jumpcast into slideshots etc. to find this all easily done it actually need a lot of practice.
