Ranging in an f2p war was completely pointless. There are some people who would stand by some rangers but it's definitely not a plan I'd apply. The Runescape community would attend the war on lvl 3 balances to see the success and to occasionally record and or report on the war for the forums.

There would also be little groups of lvl 50s that were basically other clans that heard about the war grouping together to pick up all the leftover rune. I would do the same at other clan wars, it was fun. You would get 15 or so lvl 50 accounts at a war zone fighting for all of cheap RS gold the leftover loot, and not one of the lvl 100 can attack you in lvl 45 wilderness. Hilarious tbh.
