General manager Brandon Beane has carried on with shaping the roster into his idealized image. ESPN’s Mike Rodak recently pointed out that every Bills’ contract on their roster, except two, were executed under the current regime. Now that the Bills’ GM has his fingerprints firmly on the team, let’s explore the roster to see which colleges and conferences Beane and the rest of the Bills front office appear to prefer.<hr class="p-entry-hr" id="4JEjx6">Last year, I discussed how both Sean McDermott and Beane like to acquire players hailing from the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC). When looking at the 79 signed players on the Bills roster, 17 of them (22%) are from the ACC. The most popular schools in that conference? Unlike last year White Jim Kelly Jerseys , Virginia Tech no longer is the leader, which means Miami and Pittsburgh get to share the award with three players each. Miami’s rise is thanks to free-agent signees Frank Gore, Jaquan Johnson and Jon Feliciano.The second-most popular conference is, again, similar to last year, the Southeastern Conference with 15 players (19%) on the roster hailing from down south. Missouri and LSU lead the pack there with three players apiece.
