None of the former Obama admin people were able to testify that they had seen evidence of collusion. We’ve known there was no Trump-Russia collusion. In the hearings that he conducted, it was obvious that he knew and every Democrat on his panel knew and that Rosenstein knew that there was not a single shred of evidence Trump had ever colluded with Russia. This whole thing abuse of power looks like a Rosenstein brown-nose to Democrats for a promotion down the road. From the looks of things, then-deputy AG Rosenstein not only had nothing when he appointed a special counsel; he further had abundant reason to know he had nothing. Realizing that these were lunatic notions, Rosenstein finally settled on naming Mueller, a Beltway eminence, to be a special counsel. If Comey, Mueller, etc. had done the exact same things but the heading to this was "WMD" instead of "Trump" they would already be in jail.
