Motivated by his obsession for Bree, George begins replacing Rex's coronary heart medicine with dangerous quantities of potassium, producing the latter's dying in "1 Wonderful Day". When Bree confronts the young children, Matthew threatens to get rid of Bree, as Danielle pleads for her mother's everyday living. In Season 6, Danielle appears in the episode "My Two Young Men" at the relatives meal Bree organizes for her 50 % brother, Sam Allen. Through conversations and flashbacks, it is revealed that prior to relocating to Fairview, Matthew was dating a younger female named Melanie Foster. Matthew arrived afterwards to locate Melanie hurt but alive. Caleb arrived to start with, and soon after telling Melanie he enjoys her, he tried out to kiss her, but she slapped him then hit him with an axe. As Caleb eats the ice product, he tells his mom that Matthew had instructed him to go to Danielle's home. They split up and Lynette tells Preston she is familiar with he is mad at her but hopes he will forgive her ultimately. George decides from getting gain of Bree in this way but when she wakes up, he tells her he will not wait around much extended, therefore at last having Bree into mattress.
