An English-language model of the channel was at first launched in 1994 across Europe and was subsequently renamed Discovery Home and Leisure and later on Discovery Real Time as element of Discovery's slate of themed channels. TLC Balkans was also introduced on October 1, 2010, replacing the European variation of the "Travel & Living Channel" in Slovenia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and North Macedonia. The Channel's Hungarian version was introduced on April 30, 2012, as TLC Hungary, replacing the European model of Discovery Travel & Living in on Central Europe's ideal state (The SD variation available in Sat Tv, Cable and IPTV, and just about Hd version readily available in Hungarian BIX (IPTV) solutions).
