When Professionals Run Into Problems With Nude Sex Tube, That Is What They Do

The last episode "Endgame" has a equivalent premise - the Bad Future is only so from Janeway's perspective. In an episode where by the crew is unwillingly and unknowingly experimented on by an alien species, Janeway's aggression and irrationality is greater appreciably. At 1 point she tells Tuvok to harshly punish numerous crew members for incredibly minor matters. In 1 episode, Janeway proposes punching via the party horizon of the anomaly they're trapped in. In doing so she picks up foreshadowing for a different Alternate Reality Episode, the Two-Part Episode "Year of Hell" in which things go From Bad to Worse when Voyager is caught up in the results of a temporal weapon. However, the conclude of the episode implies that it's possible the novel is in fact essential, and that holographic rights is the following action in Federation civil law. An In-Universe application of this trope occurs in the episode "Author, Author", in which the Doctor writes a holo-novel which is in essence a screed against the oppression of intelligent holograms, with thinly-disguised variations of the crew as the villains. Although STV by no means experienced a Mirror Universe episode, the strategy is performed with in "Living Witness" when a historian presents Voyager a Historical Villain Upgrade, and once again in "Author, Author" when the Doctor's holonovel portrays the Captain Ersatz versions of the crew as jerks.
