The conservation of the precious decorative mechanisms, made between the 16th and the seventeenth century by artists akin to Giuseppe Meda and Camillo Procaccini amongst others, is at risk too as a result of repeated conservation interventions and reworkings applied with supplies which have been altered over time. Moreover, the enlargement and fragmentation of the picket assist has brought on some fragments to detach from the pictorial layer.
